Best breakfast deal on campus
I just ordered the Cobb wrap from the campus Freshii and I am so happy with the quality of the food. I was happy to see that the meat was all hormone free and if you order the Warrior salad some of the proceeds go to a children program abroad. Wonderful to see that processed foods are not being used and students have a healthier option on campus. The girls working were so kind and nice and when they make your wraps they mix them in a bag first which is an awesome idea so that your wrap is evenly spread out in each bite!! 5 stars from me! Keep up the great customer service!!
Freshii is a great little place close to the University campus that is quite popular with the student population. They operate like a healthier and more complex version of subway with choices such as wraps, salads, soups and burritos. You can custom make your order or get a preselected choice. I ordered a custom made salad with chicken and 8 different veggies( it's up to 6 veggies with extras being .25cents not including premium toppings that are a little more)
Very efficient and a healthy alternative to all the fast food places around the downtown core.
I'm a huge fan of the Freshii franchise. The concept is built around the idea of customers tailoring their fresh, healthy meal to their own tastes. There are so many great options and combinations available that there is something that will most definitely appeal to everybody.
I've had a few mistakes with my order at this location, but that happens in this industry. The management has demonstrated that they really do look after their customers and want to make their experience a good one. Great food and great customer service will keep me coming back.
Not bad for Ottawa U.. This is definately not a great restaurant. As other reviewers said, service is definately lacking, and not everything taste great.
But considering the other options around uOttawa, this is the best wrap/burritos/salads you can get on campus. It's an ok restaurant when u need a quick lunch on campus, but other then that, not worth it.
Prices are expensive for what you get (except the 5$ menu), but at least quality/price it's better than the overpriced cafeteria and Starbucks.
A Fresh Beet to Fast Food. I was a regular to Freshii when I lived in Toronto. It was a healthy and tasty grab and go spot on my way home that rivals any other quick-serve chain when it comes to quality and lifestyle. Their menu is limited so it's almost better to compare Freshii to Subway or Booster Juice.
I always went for the Bliss Bowl (Brown Rice, Roasted Red Peppers, Grilled Portobello Mushrooms, Avocado, Diced Tomatoes, Red Onions, Goat Cheese with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar) $7.95 and would add Grilled Salmon for an extra cost.
