I've only ever had take out from here. Take out times are good. Never too long of a wait. The white meat is always really dry in my opinion. The festive chicken kaiser is the best thing Ive ever had from here. Chicken on a kaiser with stuffing and cranberry mayo.
Very good experience. Even from the very start of our evening, the hostess was very polite and welcoming. Had the best server. Food was good.
Quite good, fast service, pleasant server. We will return. Prices are a bit high, but the fries are so good. The meal.was hot, tasty chicken
We ordered online on a friday evening and were pleasantly surprised because it arrived a full 30 mins before the listed time. The food was warm and fresh and on par with what you would expect from Swiss Chalet. Its not gourmet food, it's comfort food and delivered so quickly, I would compare it to what you would get in store.

Ok but nothing to rave about.. For what is is, this restaurant tries its best to deliver good plain food and quick, pleasant customer service. The chicken in these places always seems cooked to death, as do the ribs. My partner orders these. I stick to dinner salads (without the frozen seasoned chicken) and the fish and chips. Although the fish is pre-formed and frozen, it's pretty tasty. The fries are also good although they are pretty stingy with them. One gets about two tablespoons of slaw with this, the only veg in sight. The prices are very reasonable.
They have Earl Grey tea there, which is pleasant, and properly flavoured with oil of bergamot instead of the horrid Lipton's version which uses oil of lemon. We ordered dessert, cheesecake. The portions were very small and are getting smaller each time we go back. They are often sold out of it. However, some restaurants are now charging $6.99 for the same sized piece of cheesecake - a small sliver (and have the nerve to bring two forks, unrequested - a rude and pushy practice in restaurants nowadays - what if the lady or gentleman does not wish to share and therefore is forced to feel churlish if s/he does not offer?). Here it was only $3.99.
We will go back when we don't expect all that much and are just hungry. The service, including management is friendly, cooperative and attentive. It's close, accessible, reasonably priced and the food and service are better than other Swiss Chalets we have tried in Ottawa.
Speedy deliveries. What i love most about this location is how fast the order gets to my house. they always seem to be there way before expected. also the food is consistent
Great for family meal after work or on a lazy night. Very busy at times so service can suffer a bit but recommended for staff,food and atmosphere.
