Had the Tandoori Chicken Wrap Combo. The spiced fries were great, very crispy and delicious. The Wrap was very flavorful and the chicken was very tender. I will keep going back for sure!
The grilled meats are delicious and very reasonably priced.
You get a lot of food which lasts me two meals.
The only complaint is Fri chicken special was not that special
Zai is where u want to go for fried chicken. The food is clean ..I've never tasted old frying oil there which is gr8! food quality is excellent and u can see that there kitchen is clean.
Appeals to the whole family. My 8 yr old is an adventurous eater, my 5 yr old not so much. Both have loved Zaki's chicken, especially with the garlic sauce. Crispy yet moist. Not too salty (like some other chicken places). My wife likes the wraps and we all love the Naan. Family business run by people who care. The east enders will get a location soon I hear (Donald and St. Laurent)
Went to zaki's for the first time today and enjoyed my experience. The food was tasty and the price was very good for the serving sizes and quality
Forget the Colonel Zaki is the Place Akhee. Wow what a place, I haven't had fried chicken that tender and moist, and delicious in.... well a very very long time. KFC's Dry expensive chicken doesn't even compare not even on the same scope. They even provided a Prayer mat when Magrib came.
We had the Family meal with 12 pieces of the most tender juicy, and tasty chicken with 2 large seasoned fries, Hot rolls, hot sauce and garlic sauce, with a 2 liter of your favorite poison.( I don't drink Pop personally) Our kid who loves Kafta Kabobs had one of their Shammy Kabobs and it was delicious and fresh tasting as well. Highly recommend this place Clean and tasty. A real Halal treat. well worth waiting for your made to order meal
This place was great. we had to wait ~20 minutes for the food, but it was worth it. I had the chicken breast wrap - the meat was well seasoned and it was fab! the fries were good too (make sure you ask for garlic sauce to dip them in - yum!). the customer service was very friendly too. I'll come back for lunch again.
MMmmmmm chicken........ I LOVE CHICKEN, and this is the best broasted chicken I have found in Ottawa so far.
A place to discover and enjoy. Found this restaurant by chance while shopping at Walmart. Glad I did. Have been there twice already. The chicken especially the tandoori is out of this world. The servings are huge, no one would ever leave this place half full. The chicken, rice and even the salad were very tasty. I highly recommend this place to my friends.
Really good chicken.... I didn't know what was broast but it was really good that it didn't matter how they cook. Good food is good. XD
Good Start. Small venue, small menu with tasty chicken. Everything is made to order, expect about a fifteen minute wait. Different entirely than Shawarma. Fries could be better
Not Bad, Good Value. The lamb chops were grisly, though tasty. There was plenty of rice, in fact more than necessary. The Naan bread was a bit dry, but again generous.
The chicken was quite good. Better than the new KFC anyhow.
Priced right, but not as 'fast' a fast food place as shawarma places in comparison. (note: this is not a shawarma place)
