Great restaurant. We go to Lunasole for breakfast every Sunday. Unlimited coffee, very good eggs with meat & fruits. Very friendly staff, courteous & fast service. We love it
We were there for breakfast. It is kid friendly and has a reasonable kids menu. We had very nice service and the food was good. I'd definitely go back for breakfast.
Awesome food for the price! Potatoes are delicious, eggs are always cooked perfectly, not too greasy. Good selection on menu, great service!
If your a breakfast aficionado, definitely try this place out!

This is our go-to breakfast spot. Everything is good, but their home fries are perfect. They need to improve their coffee, that's their only downfall.
Pretty standard breakfast fare. It was close to where I was at the time. Might return and try lunch or dinner. Interior decor nice; server pleasant.
I come to Lunasole for breakfast usually and it's always great. I don't mind travelling for it as I don't live in Orleans but it's worth it. Always delicious food and friendly staff. The only thing I'd say is please improve the freshness of your fruit.
I was at this restaurant today for lunch it was my first time there. I had the special of the day which was a fillet of sole over white rice served with a salad and it came with a homemade bowl of tomato and pea soup which was excellent ! The soup had a really good tomato base with a bit of spice that upped the heat ,black beans and some potato in it . The fish was baked with a lemon butter on it and it came with a lemony sauce that had a Mexican heat and flavour to it very good and salad was fresh and tasty ! I would recommend this place to my friends and family !
I have been to dinner at Lunasole with a group once a month for at least three or four years. The food has always been delicious. I confess I always order butter chicken because it is SO good. My friends order different items from the menu and everyone has enjoyed their meal. The service has always been attentive because mostly there are only two or three tables occupied. I wonder every time I eat there why there are not more customers because the food and service are very good and the place though not luxurious, is clean and totally acceptable. I have also been there for lunch at least five times and had either Greek or Julienne salad and it has always been fresh.
It's our place for brunch, after x-ski or cycling. Don't miss the egg Benedict!
Fantastic!. We ordered food from here for the first time last night to see what Lunasole was like. We ordered one Butter Chicken meal deal, and another butter chicken and naan. We were blown away by how good everything was. Honestly it was some of the best Indian food that we've tasted in a long time, and we definitely recommend Lunasole to anyone who enjoys Indian food. We'll be ordering again, and we're planning to visit the restaurant itself as soon as we can!
Absolutely fantastic for breakfast. Have been back twice since our initial visit. The waffles were fresh and had a nice serving of fruit. The French toast was equally delicious! However we made the mistake of visiting the restaurant for dinner, something we still regret both meals were awful! We would recommend breakfast any day but stear clear from lunch and dinner!
Good Breakfast. Been a couple of times for breakfast and never disappointed. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of food ... was expecting more of greasy diner-type breakfast. Meat-Lovers Eggs Benedict was really good!
Awesome Indian food. So not only are they the only Indian food place that delivers in Orleans, but the food was amazing. Samosas, Butter Chicken, Tikka Masala and Shrimp Korma. All really good and not too spicy, just right. Will be ordering again soon.
Lunasole Restaurant and Bar. This Orleans restaurant is my favourite. While the decor is basic, the food is excellent, service is very good, and the owners and staff are very friendly.
Great breakfast and lunch menu and the new dinner menu provides an interesting variety of dining options. Try the Stuffed Tandoori Potato appetizer, it's excellent.
My wife and I really enjoyed the Mixed Tandoori platter. With more than enough food for two this platter makes a great meal to share.
AWESOME FOOD!. Best breakfast I've had in Orleans. Quick service, nice atmosphere, delicious food. Highly recommend the "Luna Bene" best eggs benedict EVER! :)
Family and I often visi this wonderful establishment. The service was quick and the food was great quality for a good price. The hostess was very friendly and pleasant. The server was quick and she checked on us often, she presented herself well. Everything was amazing, my only complaint is the walls in the middle of the room and the counter wall. I will definatly recommend it to others.
Nice local option. Hubby and I go here from time to time, especially since the quality of Cora's has really gone downhill recently and the lineups are ridiculous.
Service isn't always great and the wait times vary a lot, but the food is decent (more vegetarian options would be great), as are the prices. And it's easily accessible by bus, which is a nice option. When the weather's nice we take the opportunity to take a leisurely stroll home and work off some calories!
All in all not the *best* breakfast place in Orleans (can't wait for Ben & Florentine to open!), but far from being the worst, either.
Better food; worse decor. The "old" Lunasole had class. The booths were cool and the atmosphere relaxed. The food, on the other hand, was terrible. It was our Cora's-backup, but after a couple of attempts, we'd just persevere in line at Cora's regardless.
Since the revamp, the food has gotten a lot better, though the booths and most of the charm are gone. Now it makes a perfectly acceptable backup bruncher, unless you're going for the atmosphere.

Good first impression. My friends and I go around Orléans on Saturday nights trying out various restaurants.
Our first visit to Lunasole since it took the location over from Rocking Johnny's. The décor is basic. Gone are the booths and it looks like a hack job, but décor notwithstanding, the atmosphere is convivial. When we saw a crowd of people of a "certain age", make up the majority of customers, we said that it must be good value for the dollar.
The wait staff (Sam) is great, attentive and polite, good sense of humour. The menu is vast, everything from american fare to asian fusion and everything in-between.
We all opted for the burgers. My friend and I had the Double/double, great bang for the buck, my wife and other friend had the single burger with mushrooms and my wife opted for the poutine and said that it was perfect. The sauce is just right, not salty at all. We asked for the cook not to salt our food and to cook the beef well. My wife would have liked the beef more crispy as she found it on just this side of pink.
We were so pleased with the service, ambiance, the pricing, that we promised to go back and work our way down the menu and definitely try the asian fusion section.
I am glad to see a restaurant that seems to be keeping its labour costs down thus keeping the menu pricing affordable. I just hope that they do not fall victim to their own success and not be able to keep up with the demand. So far, smart and affordable.
