Love the pizza from Colonnade, just not this one or the one on bank Street. Yes they share a name and the same boxes. But that's about it, there was very little sauce on the pizza I had last night and the pepperoni was put on very sparingly, love the Gilmore location because they put a lot of toppings, not this place. I ordered wings with my pizza and nothing was done to the wings, just meat deep fried, no seasoning whatsoever, all the flavour for the wings was dependent on the sauce that came with it, the sauce (honey garlic) was so bland, you can tell it's from a jar or container and served directly to the customer, not worth $15 for 10 wings with not effort put into them. I pay the premium price of $50 for 1 pizza and 10 wings to be served something that has a premium quality. This is just another pizza place, trying to get as much profit as possible reluctantly serving you food, save your money and order elsewhere.

Colonnade Pizza is a landmark pizza restaurant in Ottawa for 50+ years. Considered one of the best pizza restaurants in Ottawa certainly over time. However, not all Colonnade restaurants are the same. I am not sure why it would be different but the downtown location is consistently good and perhaps the only one that gets my 5 star rating. The pizza served to us from the Colonnade pizza on Carling Ave was luke warm, not all that appealing and was not one of those pizzas that begs you to have one more slice. Basically very disappointing surprisingly so. Maybe just on off day? The service however was just fine. If I crave a Colonnade Pizza I will go downtown!

The pizzas are always good but today they went above and beyond. I ordered 4 pizzas for pick up for Mothers Day lunch, they made a mistake on one and two people couldn’t eat it because it had ham on it. When I called they insisted on making another one and the manager delivered it all within half an hour. Thank you for saving our Mothers Day

This family restaurant is a good place to spend your time with family while enjoying the delicious pizzas they serve. We had a combination pizza. It was fresh, hot and yummy. Fries were good too! Servers are also welcoming and kind. We had a good time in there. I definitely recommend this place!

Solid family restaurant/ pizza joint. With delicious pizza and friendly staff. They know how to ease the dining experience with toddlers. We were offered booster seats, cups with lids, and colouring activities. Our visit was great and we look forward to more family dinners here

Love this restaurant. Came for dinner on Friday night and despite the place being packed, our server was beyond exceptional. Full support to her and the team who managed to serve a full dining room and handle the (seemingly) heavy volume of to-go calls flawlessly. Oh, and the pizza was great too!

By far the BEST pizza in town. I was very excited to see this Colonnade Pizza location being built. Super convenient location. Parking usually not a problem. Very clean restaurant & staff are so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!! Never disappointed !! 😋 🍕

We have been eating breakfast, lunch and supper there at least weekly since last summer. The pizza is 99% as good as the original on Metcalfe street which I have enjoyed since the ‘70s. The breakfast and the pizza are terrific! The service is exceptional! They treat you like you are family. There are a few restaurants in Ottawa that make you feel like you are at home. This is one of those few! I recommend it to all my friends and always rave about the food and the service. Congratulations on a superb, friendly, family restaurant!

On April 29th I organized a family breakfast at this location for 27 people and it was fabulous! The food and coffee were hot, the servers were very pleasant AND attentive and of course Joe served up the very best breakfast food with a breakfast menu that had something for everyone. Crispy bacon, perfectly cooked eggs, your choice of different kinds of bread, etc., I polled everyone who attended and they were very happy with their meals and the service. Very pleased with our Family Breakfast!! Thanks Joe!

My family loves Colonnade Pizza. We were thrilled when a location opened on Merivale and were even more excited when the Carling location opened. The food is so great here! The serving staff treat you like you're family in a Brooklyn sense - don't expect fawning, you'll get a warm welcome and everything you need.
I think they switched their Gluten-Free recipe/supplier because it's excellent (I wasn't too fond of it when I had it last year)! My only two complaints is that the immediate parking lot is so small with only one handicap spot and not a lot of room to drop people off at the door with all the comings and goings at the coffee shop. I also wish that they would partner with a deliver service so that I could get delivery!

The first time I tried Colonnade, I waited 30 minutes before I was given a menu even though the place was nearly empty. I left without ordering.
Tonight I decided to give the place another shot and get take out.
The pizza I received is by a wide margin the worst I have ever had. this is the first time I have ever thrown out pizza for reasons other than food spoilage. The pizza was greasy, but felt overly dry in texture...like cardboard dipped in canola oil.
The sauce is extremely sweet. My father took a bite, grimaced said it tasted almost like there was pineapple in the sauce.
The cheese was baked on hard like a cracker, and had next to no taste whatsoever.
To add insult to injury, I paid nearly 30 dollars for a medium pizza.
I don't know if other colonnade locations are this bad, but this one should be avoided like the plague. Ottawa was dozens of good pizza places that have better quality food, more variety and deliver all for a cheaper price.

I didn’t like the service despite the fact that we paid tip and ordered food, when we were leaving store with our left over and a PLASTIC cup for water the woman serving us came after us and took the cup! Very inappropriate!
