Red Pepper Thai-viet - Ottawa - Photo album

I spent $20 for bbq beef vermicelli with spring rolls that were not included ($3 extra). The spring rolls were small than what i am used to getting at other places. I was still full anyway. They added little apple pieces I didn't care for. I've had their pad thai which was good. No complaints there.
The food was not very good but at least it was expensive. This spring rolls were nearly burned crispy shells over mush. The species curry on the menu lacked flavor, and any fo of spices, let alone mainly was soup with a hint of veggies and a few chicken pieces. Those two items plus water and rice wa
In a word, Red Pepper is inconsistent. While I’ve had some pretty good meals here, I’ve also had some abysmally bad ones. The quality of service you get depends on the day, and wait times can range from really short to “I wonder if they forgot about me.” If you really want some Vietnamese or Thai
It was just ok. Calamari appetizer was overcooked. Split a main dish and it was served quickly.....maybe too quick. Didn't seem as fresh as I would expect for Thai food. Not terrible but I've had better.
Served by one of Centretowns finest youth, The Red Pepper holds a special place in my heart. It serves up tasty Asian cuisine at affordable prices, but it isn't anything out of the ordinary. Getting a window seat along with complimentary teapot before your order is always a relaxing venture. I recom
Worst, laziest attempt at Thai food I've ever had..."curry" didn't taste like anything but grease and salt, and the papaya salad might as well have been coleslaw mixed with a shrimp cocktail. Insanely overpriced for food that I'd be embarrassed to serve to anyone.
Went to the new location on Queens ...small tables , food portions was not worth the amount of money and they charged $3.00 for a cup of rice without asking me! Service was mediocre , we were the only ones in the restaurant . I don't see them staying around much longer .
Amazing. Best pad Thai I've had and the crispy chicken noodle dish was unbelievable. 10/10 recommend but 5/5 is all that I can give.
