My wife and I could not be happier with our February 24th wedding at Strathmere. We chose the Lodge and were thrilled with the outdoor ceremony space. Strathmere really is a one-stop-shop, offering both a spectacularly quaint venue and a great selection of seasonal meal options. Guests raved about the appetizers, the meal itself, and the late-night snacks (the highlight of the night was definitely the Poutine Bar). Our wedding planner, Linda Spikker, was fantastic in all categories and went above and beyond for us. She made sure that every detail was to our satisfaction and checked in with us multiple times throughout the night, often keeping the night running smoothly while we socialized with guests. Thanks to everyone at Strathmere for their professionalism and for making our day as perfect as it was.
Pedi and dinner tonight! As always the services and the food were incredible. The staff are top notch and the facility is cozy. Wonderful spa experience without the pretentious attitude of so many other places.
We had a girls night at the retreat and spa. Amazing service! Everyone was so kind and friendly. The massage was great and the facial was too!
The food from their scratch kitchen was also fabulous. I have nothing but good things to say.

Not only is Strathmere a gorgeous place to relax, have fun and reconnect with nature... the food is outstanding, the customer service and friendliness of staff is warming and the spa and café is just the added delight to it all!

My wife I were thrilled with the hospitality and food at Strathmere. We just attended their first cooking demo and dinner party with Executive chef, Angelo Camposarcone. It was held in their brand new retreat facility and the event was exquisite.
The menu was an outstanding 5 course selection complete with perfect Ontario VQA pairings. I definitely recommend taking advantage of the overnight accommodations to get the full benefit, so be wise and book ahead. The dishes were carefully selected to be ones that you could recreate at home, but it really helps to pay close attention to all of the tips Chef Angelo dishes out. We learned so much and had an excellent experience. We certainly recommend that you watch for the next opportunity to attend.
If you can’t wait, you too can experience their incredible food at the upcoming Mother’s Day brunch but it sells out very quickly. Of course you can also treat yourself immediately to the retreat experience but definitely stay for lunch!
A very secret restaurant hidden gem in North Gower. We had a lovely dinner, and a complimentary strawberry dessert made for our Anniversary Celebration. Many Thanks. Great staff service too!
I was just at the very first Fit Chicks retreat here and it was amazing! Great facility and staff. Always very helpful. The food was a bit fancy for me but I still enjoyed something about each meal. Accommodations were great. Everything is very clean. I'm sure I will be back again :)
Beautiful spot! Gorgeous new retreat/spa/Cafe. A friend and I enjoyed lunch! Delish menu....hard to choose so I'll be back to try everything else on the menu. I can't wait to book myself a pedicure and massage.

My husband and I got engaged 6 months out from our eventual wedding day! This meant we were very limited in terms of finding a venue. When we toured Strathmere (The Lodge is what we decided on) we knew from that moment that was where we wanted to get married! The staff went above and beyond to help make our day everything we dreamed it would be, and we can't say enough about how grateful we are. The venue offered everything we needed, and the surrounding natural beauty was the perfect backdrop for our day! Our friends and family are still raving about the food, atmosphere and gorgeous grounds.
The staff at Strathmere stayed in constant communication with us, updating us whenever rooms became available for our family and friends to stay in. They were there to answer all our questions and provide reassurance whenever we needed it. We truly had the most perfect wedding day and it was all made possible by the friendly and amazing staff at Strathmere!
I highly recommend this venue, if you are looking for a peaceful, tranquil and all encompassing setting for your wedding day. Every detail is taken care of to allow you to enjoy your day!!
This inn is so peaceful and clean. The pillows on the bed were the most comfortable my head's ever enjoyed.
The service was very friendly, from check-in at the registration, throughout the meal and everywhere in between.
The food was tasty. The surroundings very calm and pleasant.
The gardens were beautiful.
A great place to just get away for a little bit.
And still, the wifi was super fast!
My daughter, Kelly was married here August 27th 2016. A very beautiful and romantic venue in North Gower. Lovely country setting with mature trees and well groomed grounds and flower beds.
The staff was amazing. Call outs to Jenna and Mel and the rest of the staff. Responded in prompt timing to any request. We were taken very good care of.
We stayed at Strathmere in the Inn the night of the wedding and the night before. Things worked out perfectly.
The entire Wedding was perfect!

Amazing food, outstanding service and beautiful decor... my favourite place to go for all things culinary and retreat like.
My friend and I spent an absolutely perfect day at Strathmere doing the Celebration Package. From the warm greeting by staff to yoga, to the hot tubs, to the spectacularly delicious lunch and finally to our pedis.. the entire experience was perfection. I've never had such an amazing "bumper to bumper" spa experience anywhere else. I am beyond impressed and will definitely be returning.... can't wait until next time!
