Mr shawarma is a nice address for a delicious middle eastern shawarma plate. I've taken a family box, the salads, river and meat are amazing and delicious. The setup is good for dine in and the location is really clean. Highly recommended

My first time here today, it won't be my last. This is now my favourite shawarma place in Kanata. Do yourself a favour and come try the food. It's fresh , hot, and very tasty. The staff is very nice. The restaurant is clean and bright with well displayed food selection. The prices are very reasonable as well.

I am updating this review. The problems I was having with Mr. Shawarma were location specific and I felt my review did not properly convey this. When I am in the West end I go to Mr Shawarma on Baseline / Greenbank. I don't like/go to the Hazeldean location. Too many poorly put together sandwiches. I love Mr. Shawarma in general, they have great food and most locations I have been too are great. I frequent the East end Shopper City location. Always great. I highly recommend their rice as a side. Prices are competitive with other places and they have dine-in facilities too.

I have been going to this restaurant and I have to say my experience has always been GREAT ! - not only is the staff very professional but they give you good portion sizes for food! - to say that I'm satisfied with the service they provide would be an understatement . I always try to recommend this place any chance I get !

Dislike for me. I've had shawarma from here on 2 occasions - 1rst time: shawarma was alright, nothing to write home about, and the potatoes were greasy and soggy.(The first time I got it directly from the store). <br/><br/>2nd time: I had it brought home, so that may explain why I didn't like it this time but the shawarma was soggy and just a huge mess. Sauce was bland and I didn't like it. Potatoes were still greasy and soggy.<br/><br/>So a dislike for me, which doesn't happen often :(.

It's the service that counts.... I have been a customer at Mr. Shawarma for the past year ...<br/>I wont lie, the food there is really good... The beef shawarma is unlike any...<br/>However, lately, the customer service has been horrible...<br/>First off, the only person in the store who speaks English is the cashier.<br/>Secondly, for the past few weeks, everytime someone has taken my order it was done with the worst attitude of all...<br/>I can see them getting pissed and making faces at other customers if they take more than a second to make their mind...<br/>I don't know if they are rude or just don't know English...<br/>And like every weekend so far, I would take my order down to the cashier who would apologize for the behemoth-like attitude that I received...<br/>Even if the food is great, the customer service is what the customer will remember...<br/>This is the last weekend that I will be taking my girlfriend or anyone for that matter there...<br/>P.S. When you scream and yell in the back in Arabic, the whole store can hear you and it's very disrespectful to the customer.

Delicious, Generous Portions, Clean & Reasonably Priced. I've only had the chicken shawarma and potatoes from here, but they are mouth watering and delicious! Good portion sizes, they don't try to skimp on anything which is really nice. The chicken is tender and perfectly cooked; I've never found any crispy/burnt/dried out/fatty pieces in my shawarma, which I've definitely had an issue with at other shawarma places I've tried. Potatoes are nicely cooked and spiced, always hot and fresh. Restaurant is very clean & well maintained, staff are friendly and actually seem to appreciate your business. Prices are about the same as other places, but the quality is much better so you get more value for your money.
