I've tried many different Shawarma/Middle Eastern Food restaurants and nothing compares to Shawarma Chef. It's an authentic, healthy and delicious choice.
The service is great. Friendly environment where you will always feel welcome.
The best part is everything is good. I've eaten the Chicken, Beef, Falafal, salads, Hummus, Patatoes, Garlic Sauce, etc. & I have enjoyed each bite.
**Ask for the Chef sauce- They make it in house and it is very good.
This is the right choice, you will not be disappointed.
Been going here for 5 years. It's the only shawarma place that doesn't upset my stomach . A lot of places Marinate their chicken with too much oil.
My favorite Shawarma place in Orleans, family run business. They make great hummus, the fatouch salad is amazing and the make their own pita chips. I would highly recommend their homemade soup. The owners are great and it's worth coming back and back and back....
The kafta sandwich was really good! The smell of it alone was a tease the entire drive to where I ate it. The failure was the fatoush salad. The romaine was bitter, there was one piece of cucumber and one piece of tomato. Super friendly service, nice people. Crappy salad.
My favorite shawarma place in Orleans, if not all of Ottawa. Prices are fair and similar to the rest. Food is always good, hot and fresh..they're constantly bringing out fresh veggies. I've been at least 10 times, been to other places around Orleans that don't compare. Bigger gent who works there I assume is the owner is incredibly friendly and social. The rest of the staff are very polite and happy as well.
The service was incredibly friendly. Portions are a little small for the price. However, the food did taste great! The food was nice and hot and the chicken was juicy. I will be going back
Big Salad. Love the chicken salad. Nice variety of veggies with whole mint leaves. Plenty of golden fried pita chips and lovely shawarma chicken. Don't forget the garlic. I could go without the attitude from the pretty boy behind the counter. Didn't really appreciate the hot pepper refusal or the mixed sandwich denial, but the food keeps me coming back As long as it remains at this level of quality, I can tolerate Mr.big stuff
Great Food, one of my new favorites!. Decided to try Shwarma Chef recently as it is one of the closest places for Shwarma to my house. After 2 visits I can say that the food and service were both great. Both times I ordered a Chicken Shwarma platter and the food was not only good but the portions were generous and prices seemed to be in line with what other places charge for the same thing.
Excellent. The minute I walked through their doors when it first opened I was hooked. Years later I still go. their food is top notch, fresh, the service is absolutely amazing, family run business. true meaning of customer service. I have even received a lot of freebies from time to time just as a will of good gesture from them as a valued customer. Keep up the great work.
My Fav Shawarma joint in O-town. As far as shawarma joints go, or middle-eastern restaurants in general, I've eaten at most in this city. From Eastern Ontario and Western-Quebec alone, I've probably eaten at 80-90% of them. This restaurant is by far the cleanest, quickest, friendliest one of them all. Sure, some restaurants have their off days, but not this place. They have consistently shown me smiling faces, perfectly cooked chicken and beef, tasty desserts and a non-mayo based garlic dressing that is unlike any others I have had in the city. I am not ashamed to say I visit this restaurant 2-3 times a week and I am never disappointed. 5 Strs, 10/10, Golden Spoon, etc... Definitely my favourite Middle-Eastern/Lebanese/Shawarma joint in the greater Ottawa area.
Great place!. I've tried a bunch of the Lebanese restaurants in Orleans, and I must say that nothing beats the value and service at Shawarma Chef. I love that it's a true family run business and everyone always greets you with kindness. We look forward to our meals from there!

Great food. I just found this place last month and decided to try it. It's by far the best shawarma place in Orleans. The restraunt is very clean, the service very friendly and nice, and most importantly, the food was great. The first time I was there I ordered the chicken platter which was amazing, and I recently had their small chicken sandwich combo. I went for the salad option, the pita chips that were put in my salad seemed to have been freshly baked and he asked me if I wanted the chips or not, unlike some other places that just throw them in the salad at some point where they're always soggy (also i sometimes dont want the chips). As long as I am living in Orleans, this is where I'll be going for my shawarma fix.
"Shawarma Chef" is the cleanest place ever!!! Friendly service and only the freshest ingredients. I eat there 4-5 times a week. It's unreal. Chicken breast only no dark fatty meat like other places. Not bland! Just fresh clean food Mel!
Great shawarmas. I used to eat here once a week when I worked in Orleans. Shawarmas are excellent, fresh ingredients. Very clean restaurant; the "chef" is a nice guy, with a sense of humour, too. Highly recommended.
Wow!. Absolutely incredible shawarma. This place is spotless, kept meticulously clean. The staff are mostly family and greet everyone with a warm hello.
The food quality is 10/10, I have eaten shawarma almost everywhere in this city and nothing comes close.
Much better than any week old garbage you would get anywhere else.
Cleanest Lebanese restauraunt in Ottawa. Good luck finding better shawarma anywhere in the city. His place is kept spotless and the service is awesome.

Very nice shawarma platter. Hummus and garlic sauce are tasty. Also ask for the hot sauce if you like it spicy. Th salad in particular was very tasty. They also gave me an extra Pita. Very pleasant owners. I would definitely visit again.

Best shawarma experience ever! My girlfriend and I were on a long drive home and decided to stop at Shawarma Chef because it has good ratings. Let me tell you the high ratings are totally accurate! The staff here are so welcoming and friendly, and in these stressful days it was a breath of fresh air. The food was so good! Toasty warm and everything was fresh. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience! We will be back again soon! God bless!

I absolutely love this place!! The food is healthy and always tastes amazing, the price is right and my kids beg for it all the time!! Also, gotta love the friendly owner and staff!! I get my craving fix every single time!
I love the food here. The donair is delicious. The shawarma platter is also delicious. Potatoes always seasoned nicely, chicken tastes great, tabbouleh is seasoned and mixed well, so is the fattoush! I also find I can easily have leftovers for lunch if I get the large shawarma platter, and the price is great.
