Love Cora’s breakfasts, always fresh, fast and staff are the best.
Great food and friendly fast service. We will definitely go back again for another meal or two.
The food was excellent and the service awesome. Chantal is very friendly and has an amazing customer service.
The food , the service as well as the cosy ambiance are
Very good, I love it..
First the service was excellent, the waitress was so nice and very polite. The food serve hot and our plates were very tasty. The plate are full but the pricing is a bit to high for a breakfast. We had this type of breakfast else where and was not as pricy as this place.
The food is quite good but overpriced and the place has too much of a Yoga Mom vibe for me to ever feel truly comfortable when dining there. Also, if I'm paying a pretty penny for my meal and part of the attraction is the fruit, would it kill the cooks at Cora's to check and see if the bloody kiwis are RIPE before serving them? I'm not even kidding! I hate biting into a piece of otherwise delicious-looking piece of fruit and it ends up being sour in flavour and woody in texture. Gross.
You know what you are getting. Cora's is a chain restaurant and will never be anything other than that. However, they are a good example of what a chain restaurant is about. I have always found this location to be very consistent in food quality, with lovely service staff as well.
The breakfast options vary from simple and homey to more unique items. Personally I like the panini crepes.
I like that so much fresh fruit is available, this can be hard to find in a brunch place that is not independent. Sometimes it is not always ripe, but not all fruit is always in season. I feel they do what they can. They are not a small farm-to-table seasonal style place, so it is what it is. I like Cora's because it is familiar and I know what I am in for.
Sunny Like the Logo!. Brunch at Cora's puts me in a bright mood. Their friendly service equates to their delicious plates. I love their fresh fruit salads and toasts. It is a friendly environment in here, and it is normally busy, especially on Sundays.
Yummy!. Was there on a Sunday and our food was delicious and was served to us in a timely matter. we were at this location a year ago and it think they must have changed the chef since then because it 110% better then the last time we went.
my only issue w/ Cora's is that it was $50 for two people for brunch... 2 meals, 2 coffees, and 2 juices... guess it won't be an every sunday kinda thing!
Consistantly Good. Some people might gripe a bit about the price, but food and service is always good. Portions are always large and they really treat the kids well ... crayons and colouring books right away and smoothies on the tables within minutes to keep them occupied.
Service is always fast and pleasant ... the off-chance that they get the order wrong (or you make a mistake ordering), they are quick to rectify anything to ensure that you leave happy and with a full tummy!
The pure food quality & generous size of their breakfasts always has us congratulating ourselves on our cost-benefit selections (e.g., the $9.99 "Construction" has 3 eggs your way, 3 strips of bacon, 3 sausages, 2 slices of toast [white, brown or multi-grain], loads of tasty roasted potatoes, plus fresh melon, pineapple, etc). Served up by youthful, personable, attentive servers. Having a late, weekday breakfast (9:30am on) solves the "line out the door" challenge (finally an option now that I'm retired).
My favorite place for breakfast. I've been to other Cora's in Ottawa, but this one is the best. Great menu choices. Line ups are common on weekends, but definitely worth the wait.
Decent!. The food here is pretty good, although I admit that I've enjoyed meals more at other breakfast places. The service was all right, although I was in a large group at the time so it might have made an impact. I'd go back for the fresh fruit though!
If you like fresh fruit, this is the place for you! I hard time ordering because of all the choices. It was delicious, would go back anytime.
Slipped into Cora's for a Halloween breakfast. My guys are Eggs Benedictine mad so that choice was easy as the dug into the mushroom/carmelized onion /spinach and goat cheese gooey goodness. I opted for a Western omelette. Both were good choices although my omelette was a bit overdone the eggs Benny were a hit. Love the fact I can get rye toast and there's lots of fruit on the plates. Always enough to share or take home the leftovers. Our waitress was bright, shiny, friendly, helpful and attentive. Great service and under the COVID challenge really did her best. We voted on the staff pumpkin contest and left the restaurant feeling full and happy. Great way to start a weekend!
The Sunshine Panini with ham is a great food item on their menu as usual though the portion (thickness) served here was smaller than that at the St-Laurent location.
Great spacious location. Was glad they seated customers with good distancing instead of packing each table side by side.
Our order arrived quickly👍👍
My only disappointment...as usual with their cafe latte is that they don't make it hot, only a bit warmer than lukewarm. Glad to see they added a new item--cafe latte with maple.
Service was 👍.
I went on a Sunday afternoon, I ordered a fruit waffle like shown in the picture.
It’s amazing how you are served and taken care of.
The taste is so delicious during this heat wave. With my friends we enjoyed this place so much despite waiting in alone to get an outdoor table.
Everything is nice and clean except the bees who are hungry from maple syrup.
Just simply good food, great service and high standards for quality ingredients. It can be difficult to make a choice.
Excellent staff - very friendly. My breakfast was done up just right. I had a slice of french toast with English cream and fruit, 2 eggs over easy, bacon and potatoes.
Quick, friendly service! It felt dark and dingy in the corner where we were seated. Noticed other areas looked bright and cozier as we were leaving. Food was pricey, but tasty and healthy.
Food is good. Staff is friendly, helpful and they speak both English and french. The place is quite loud, so if you want to have a private conversation over breakfast, this is not the place.
