Tonight we ordered pizza and pasta from Napolis for the first time. The penne with house red sauce was basic but pretty good.
The pizza was a major let-down.
We got one small House Special pizza (bacon, pepp, green pepper and mushroom) and one small Canadian Veggie pizza (olives, tomato, green pepper, onion and mushroom). There were far too many toppings loaded onto these medium-crust pizzas…and the Veggie was especially bad because of this. The crust beneath the toppings was absolutely soggy and floppy- even stuck to the paper lining in the box, which was soaked. We heard this pizza was a game changer! Sadly we disagree.
Less cheese would be better, and less quantity of each veg would probably help this sad little pizza out! The other pizza was soggy too, but less than the veg.
I can’t imagine what it would have been like had we ordered larger pies!
Safe to say we won’t be back again. What a waste of 18$ a pizza!! (Which were 4 slices each).

Some of my favorite things to get from Napolis is their pastaaaaa!! Especially their Alfredo Fettuccine and it’s sooooo creamy and delicious!! I also really enjoyed their Bruschetta!

Our go to for pizza for the last few years. If you want your classic deep dish pizza this place has got you covered. We have had a few very small issues over the few years, but always friendly and apologetic. Most importantly, never been disappointed in the food. Top notch.

It’s alright. The baked rigatoni was good. The pizza was bland. I wish they added more sauce. You can get better pizza in the area. The caesar was gross and I threw it away. They put mozzarella on top and the dressing tasted bad. Overall, just okay.

Ordered two large pizzas, One cheese and the other meat lovers with 4 dipping sauce, the total came up to $71! a pick up order! What you get for that price is very lack luster, way too much cheese and very little flavour, very bland sauce. The dipping sauce alone is $2.50 a sauce and its just sour cream, miracle whip and garlic, taste like something you whip up when you forgot to order dipping sauce. The taste of the pizza is just the taste of melted pizza mozzarella. If consuming a large amount of calories with very little flavour is you thing, this might be the place for you.

Family has been regulars here for years. Hands down best pizza in Ottawa (and beats many other cities to boot). Staff are amazing and friendly, pizzas are always consistently perfectly cooked, with tons of toppings for a very reasonable price. We try other pizzas from time to time but nothing compares.

I live in hunt club east area. This is where pizza comes to die. I found Napoli's doing a google pizza search and luckily DD delivered to my area. We ordered the chicken and Lebanese pizzas. We also got the pasta combo. Everything was exactly how everyone described. Loaded with tasty fresh toppings and smothered with melted cheese. This is definitely my new go to for occasionally indulging in a pizza and pasta fix.
I will admit, my partial drive to post a review is also based on the last reviewer that gave 1 star. I have to ask… If you’re a google reviewer, do you not inherently read the reviews before ordering? You got a sloppy delicious loaded pizza like many people mentioned. Even the menu says “brick of cheese” on their pizza. Giving a negative review for getting the advertised product is like going to an R rated movie and being upset about the language or violence.

Not a great experience. The bathrooms really need to be cleaned, pizza is great though. Cannelloni was just ok. Chicken Alfredo was good too. <br/>

I've been eating here for the last 3 decades - literally :) <br/>They've always had good food and good service. I've found over the last few years the quality and taste of the food has changed, depending who's cooking that night the food tastes different every time. <br/>I keep hoping it'll get back to what it used to be.

Hands down, best pizza in the city!!. We just moved into Westboro and decided to stop by Napoli's a few months ago. Best decision I've ever made. Great prices, you certainly pay for the quality of your pizza. They do tend to put a lot of cheese but you can always ask for a little bit less cheese (WHO WANTS LESS CHEESE???) and even make it thin crust. My wife is gluten free, and they have a pasta menu for gluten free and an incredible pizza crust for gluten free too. <br/><br/>This place is 100% definitely recommended, it is by far the best pizza I have ever tasted. Every week we try to bring new friends with us and every single one of them had nothing but good things to say about it. I agree with the commenter below, the others do not know what they are talking about! It is also family run, you know that you're going to get the same quality every time you go in vs at a franchise restaurant or fast food, where there's always a different chef. <br/><br/>Once again, if you're in Westboro, you need to hit up Napoli's!

Wow AMAZING! This Place is what Ottawa Pizza used to be. If you know the old days in Ottawa then this place is a great place to go. If you are growing up with pizza pizza and the rest then make sure you go to this classic Italian pizzeria. <br/>There is more than amazing pizza pie here!<br/>The Chicken Parm is the very Best I have ever had. I have ordered Parms almost every where I go. This one was the best.<br/>The meatballs are also some of the best things I have ordered.<br/>Now finally I want to address the last few reviews I have skimmed before writing my own. I didn't give them much time as they are what I would call total BS. I wish I could buy everyone a free meal if they had the same experiences as these last few complainers but I can't. I sum them all up as crackpots and troublemakers. This place is amazing and these owners (family) care and put love into their food. If they deserve this kind of reaction the world is in for a scarey future. Best local Italian food I have had for the Price and that is Food Baby certified. I will be Back again and again.

Terrible experience!. My friends and I where looking for a place to eat true italian pizza and we found good reviews about this one on the internet but the food and the service were horrible. The worst pizza in Ottawa! How can you call your self Napoli's?? it is not even close to be as good as the pizza in naples.

Too much cheese. I ordered the chicken pizza. It came slathered with white cheese, which I guess was brick cheese. There was supposed to be feta, but it was impossible to get any flavour other than tomato sauce and melted cheese. Too bad, because grilled chicken with tomato sauce, onions and feta on a thin crust could be a very tasty and healthy pizza. But there did not seem to be much interest in creating good flavours.

Meh. My girlfriend and I were looking for a sit down pizza restaurant and saw this place came with a high recommendation via internet reviews so we thought we'd try it out. Sadly it was nowhere near the reviews it got. The pizza was very bland and despite having good toppings still lacked in flavour. There was nothing special about their sauce or crust, and seemed to hide all of this with excess cheese that ends up making the crust greasy and soggy. Overall we were very disappointed with the food here. It seems the website needs updating as well, as they list many of their large size pizzas around the $24 mark, yet when you go in the menu lists many that size around $30. It's a small issue to criticize, however if you are looking to go out and don't want to spend a bunch of money it does come as quite a shock when you look at the menu online and see the prices only to have them be more expensive once you are there. All said and done....I think there are many other options that are better than here

Ordered a couple of pies from Napoli's and I can't say I was disappointed. The za was loaded with cheese and the crust was done nicely. The sauce tasted homemade and there was the perfect amount. It appears as if this is an Ottawa / Montreal style pizzeria since they put they pepperonis under the cheese as opposed to on top. I prefer them on top. Overall a 77%

A Favourite. My Family has ordered from Napoli's for years and for a great reason! They're Pizza is amazing! Truly old school pizza that has your mouth watering. Very friendly atmosphere. And If you're looking for some comfort food they make a great Spaghetti & Meatballs!

Life long customer!!. I have been going to Napolis for years! it is a family run restaurant, they are so friendly. The food is absolutely delicious and well priced. You cannot go wrong with Napoli's pizza :) I have never had anything but their pizza, but I'm sure it's all AMAZING!

Food great, atmosphere outdated.. The pizza & everything else is good, greasy spoon, red-sauce perfection. The restaurant is outdated and a bit grungy, could use a coat of paint and some new furnishings. One time I was in there the server sat down with some friends on a vinyl bench and ripped a loud fart which echoed throughout the relatively quiet and empty restaurant. A bit off-putting.
