This place has fantastic burgers! The only reason I am not willing to give a 5 star is because the price! I am very cheap, I will admit that but this is not the place to go for a cheap burger. if you want to taste a real burger then come here and have fun with friends and have a drink! Overall, the experience is great!
Love this place! The veg burger is delicious, which is not something I say about many veg burgers. Their fries are always great and the appetizers are very yummy, if you have room for them.
A wide variety of burgers. We each had a different flavored burger. Fresh and tasty. The decor is unique and interesting. The food took some time to get our table, but worth the wait.

The atmosphere is always warm and inviting – service prompt and friendly. The prices seem a little high but the ambiance, portions and quality make it worth it.
The portions here are great. I always leave feeling full. The service is often friendly and quick and there's not much to complain about. The milkshakes here are heavenly! Beware, do not drink it all before your meal or you won't finish. The burgers are quite delicious and I had the Kamikaze. It was very spicy, just as I expected. The potato chips were alright although mine were a little too salty and a little burnt. I will most likely come back.
Great service, amazing burgers. What else do you need right ?! The burgers are amazingly made and so juicy, they don't serve you any whimp burger patties. The onion ring tower is great split with friends as well, definitely one of my favorite places

Great time...... We were in the East end and had a hunger on. We stopped by, were sat down immediately. Service was spot on, order two Barking Squirrels, cold and yummy. We were encouraged to try a burger outside of our normal desire. We did and it was great. Cannot remember what they were though. Stop in and enjoy this location.
WIFI was not available as advertised. Used the wife's Hotspot to find songs or clarify conversation.
Love the food.. Particularly enjoy the onion rings and the sweet potato fries, both of which are amazing with chipotle mayo. Favourite burger is the Beverly Hills Lawsuit with an avocado on it...especially good if they do the egg yolk runny.
Good!. The burgers are always good at this location. The service has gotten much faster over the year as well. Some of the "extra" menu items aren't worth it, but for a nice thick burgers with some sort of fried side you can't really go wrong here.
Burgers Done Right. You pay for what you get, and you get great burgers at The WORKS. Sometimes the service is a little standoffish, but mostly they're nice. My only gripe is that the establishment isn't larger, as it doesn't sit a great deal of people.
Good burgers, a little pricey. The burgers are great but the value is moderate. Your paying for ambiance. So you need to decide how important that is to you. Sometimes I feel its worth it, other times I wish I stopped at Manhattan handmade. I havent had a bad burger yet. Onion rings are good but pricey. Fries are moderate but not great.
Aaaaaaamzing burger place. So many choices mean you can probably eat here a lifetime and never have the same burger twice. Also, this resto isn't one of those pretentious, high priced "Burger Bistros" that charge ridiculous prices. Straight forward and delicious, just the way it should be.
Great food. Tower o rings was perfectly cooked, crispy not greasy. Hamburgers cooked to perfection. Great Caesar salad and chips. All 4 of us had different milkshakes; we were nit disappointed: they reminded us of the ones we used to have as kids! Absolutely great service! Will definitely go again the next time we're in Ottawa. Unfortunately, there are none in Montreal. I definitely recommend it.
Even though the menu is pretty overwhelming, it's well worth it! I ordered the chicken breast on whole wheat with the Sgt Peppers toppings and pretty well burned my face off. It was amazing! Fries are excellent as well
Easily the best hamburgers in Ottawa. The choices are incredible and the atmosphere is awesome. These things are the real deal.
Vegan Suggestion. I love this restaurant! There are so many choices that at first it can seem a little overwhelming. This is a vegan-friendly restaurant, but I must point out that every single burger has either cheese or a creamy dressing on it, so every time I go, I have to ask the server if I can swap the cheese/dressing for something else, which gets a little annoying. I'm hoping they might develop a vegan burger or two. My new favourite combination is a slightly altered version of Avril's Avocado Avalanche: grilled eggplant, avacado, salsa--red peppers instead of the feta. I'd love to hear some suggestions from other strict vegetarians out there!
Great Service. Fun place to go. Lindsey was a great server and will obviously make a great teacher.
The burger was cooked to order and the chocolate shake was thick but could have been better with more chocolate!
Poutine was a little skimpy with the cheese curds.
Fun Place with Great Food. I have eaten here four times now and will come back again. The menu is fun with lots of crazy choices of burgers and the staff makes the entire experience a fun one. The tower of rings is a good way to start your meal and chances are you won't have room left to put away one of their scrumptous desserts. The sweet potato fries are a favorite and the decor is eye catching. I just wish there was more room in the restaurant - it feels a little cramped at times. If you haven't eaten at a Works yet - try it, you won't be dissappointed.
The food is great with plenty of choices. Friendly service and very comfortable atmosphere. Food takes a long time to make it to the table but is worth the wait.

Been going since this was the first restaurant, a tiny place on Beechwood. Great burgers for a special treat and yummy onion rings. SO many burgers to choose from!
