Good food, great prices Place has nice clean upscale decor but somehow the prices are very affordable. Portions are good and the food was great. There is a huge menu with several different Asian styles. Had a fabulous meal for a great price. Highly recommend.

Only for a start because of the older waiter. He was very sweet and fast working. But the food was... not good. Royal Thai is a nice restaurant. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. If you're looking for good Asian food in Byward Market, definitely try out Royal Thai! They will stop accepting people when it's half an hour to closing though so you'll have to arrive earlier. I have had their pad see ew

If you are looking for great flavors on this type of food, here definitely you will find them.

I was disappointed by the food from here. Other Thai places provide much better fare. The fish cakes were bizarre in texture and flavor. The same could be said of almost all their dishes that I tried. The curry was good, but the rest, while made of edible sources, barely qualifies as food.
