Hands down the BEST Indian restaurant in Ottawa ! This little place is an absolute gem for anyone who craves the typical desi flavour that is lacking in most Indian restaurants here.
Their platters are well portioned and friendly on the pockets.
Do give their chicken tikka masala , butter chicken , chicken curry and shahi butter paneer a try ! The indo-Chinese needs a bit more of improvement but otherwise everything else is fabulous !
The owners take their food seriously and the aroma of this place will surely make you crave for their delicious food more and more .

Our tongues were tingling for some authentic indian cuisine so I came across this place on Uber eats .. the worst way to spend 40$
1butter chicken 14.95$+tax wow
The chef either does not have an idea about butter chicken I lost his sense of taste. Over cooked frozen chicken.
The rotis and Nan ... Can replace my erasers
The portion for the price is very less .. I mean u can see the pic .. the cup reference to the palm of a grown man
The roti and Nan sizes are 10% larger than a loaf of bread 3$+tax for each

Came here for lunch and got their butter chicken platter. The butter chicken was great, as was the naan, and it was a good portion size. The rice was what you expect. The "salad" was pretty small and bad in comparison though, it was about 90% red onion and not much else, but it wasn't really something that mattered to me.
Service was okay, not specifically friendly but was still alright. Overall, it was a tasty filling lunch, and I'd definitely go back again

Very big portions and freshly cooked. However, the chickpeas were undercooked which was too bad. Friendly staff and the food was ready quickly!

Seeing the rating as 4+, I assumed the food would be good if not excellent. I ordered Makhani daal with Naan Bread and Hakka noodles. Both turned out to be terrible. The Makhani daal was under cooked and tasted sour as if its gone bad. The only vegetable in the hakka noodles were onions and it was loaded with tomato ketchup which no other distinguish taste. I do not recommend this place, It was complete waste of money. I would rather buy ready to eats from a store than order from here.

Great butter chicken. Amazing naan. Not a large sit down area and no A/C. Best bet is to take away.

What a treat on a cold February night. The Vegetarian Hakka Noodles were amazing. It was great to watch the chef cook it from scratch, with such pride and care. The service was also exceptional. I had no idea that I had walked in just after the official closing time. I was warmly greeted with a smile and no indication that I had to rush. When I apologized to the staff for inadvertently keeping them past closing time, they waved it off. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who appreciates excellent food and service. It's a type of hospitality that I thought no longer existed. I will definitely be back.
