Well the guys at work were looking for something different. Someone suggested St. Hubert. So we placed a takeout order. The whole experience from start to finish was exceptional! From the the young lady that took the call( I do apologize for not remembering your name) to the the delivery man.
I tried the Rib dinner ( Whiskey sauce ) and fries. Everyone that got chicken dinners were very happy too. I had never had the ribs but I’m here to tell you, your missing out, They are damn good. Fall off the bone and the sauce was the best to date!
They had the order to us ( it was a large one) in under an hour. Nothing was forgotten and everything was hot! They then had a bag of fixings ( cutlery salt pepper ketchup mayo that stuff)!

Service was slow. I ordered the peri peri chicken with sweet potato fries. The chicken tasted like regular chicken. They didn’t put much fries in the box. On the other-hand, the coleslaw was amazing as always.

I have been eating food from this restaurant for over 30 years, today is the first time I was very disappointed. Placed an order for pickup, with a 90 minute ETA, seems reasonable, pulled up on time and waited a whole hour in line for the pickup window!! Needless to say by the time we got our food it was cold an soggy. They should manage the pickup window more efficiently, park the cars whose orders aren’t ready, and serve the rest.
The food when served HOT is really worth 4-5 stars.
There was plenty of staff to be seen, once I got to the window.
Pickup window lane design has you trapped, you can’t get out even if you wanted to just walk in.

Food was not great and service was okay. Bathrooms had no soap and the whole restaurant was just a dim atmosphere. I've been to St Huberts in Hull Quebec and so much nicer. We ordered lunch specials for adults and children. Waiter didn't ask if we wanted desert or coffee at the end of our meal. We had to ask because he simply said is that all? When we asked what the deserts were and if we had deserts included he just told us to look at the menu. Never going back there.

We visited this very busy restaurant on the weekend for dinner. We were promptly seated and the waitress Lea was very friendly and helpful. The food was awesome. Save some room for the Mount Choco dessert! .We will definitely return at our next visit to Ottawa.

Decided to have a lobster roll which looked wonderful in the photo. Shows chunks of lobster but what you get is a bit of minced lobster heavily mixed with green onion etc, nothing like the photos. You get more lobster if you buy a can at Sobeys. I imagine the other lobster products shown may also be misrepresented. The others in our group had chicken which they say was very tasty.

The service at this location was exceptional. I wish I recalled our servers name, as he was so kind and helpful. The food was comforting after some disappointing meals in Ottawa. I highly recommend the Piri Piri sauce and sweet potato fries (they're thick and tasty).

I love this location and we do order on-line and pick up, or drive thru regularly. I've never had a screwed up order or anything spill in the boxes. Mind you, I put the box on the floor of my car to make sure it doesn't get tipped, etc. The price point for the family deal is excellent and it's a large quantity of food. We've also eaten in many times and the staff are very courteous and helpful.

Im sorry but they need to change the management. Yesterday you had two new employees and the manager was just good to “bitch”at them and not helping them. We complained about the fact it took over one hour to receive our plates and one plate that wasnt as promoted and the manager “Kathy”never came out to see us to apologized. There was not support for those two new employees. The person who step up its the tall server Garry ( I believe) who step up and was amazing. He should be manager. We were very understanding with our trainee server and which her all the best but please do yourself a favor and re train your manager. She was even behind our boot and spoke bad about other employees and looked at us from the aide of the kicthen talking about us because we complained.

Don't trust them when they tell you in writing that your food will be there within 45 mins, they lie. I had to cancel after an hour and a half, so here I am angry, hungry and writing a review.

I went with my bf and I ordered a club sandwich and he ordered a wrap with a poutine.
My club sandwich & fries was really good but my bf's poutine was cold. He told the waitress and they apparently gave him a new one but the cheese curds were cold again. He just didn't say anything the 2nd time. It's pretty much the only time we had a complaint with St-Hubert.

Very very disappointed!! (Probably the end of us at St-Hubert)!
Our server was on her 1st day with nobody supervising her. She still did a good job. However, after working at St-Hubert myself for many years, I have NEVER seen a manager rude and useless like the one working yesterday. Her name is Kathy. She was so rude and rough with the staff but right in front of the customers. Then, I waved at her because we have been waiting for over an hour on our food and she almost rolled her eyes and walk towards me telling me our food was coming but never in the intention to please the customer. It was just to get ride of us! Then, while it’s busy on the floor, she was resting her head on her hand just looking around instead of being on the floor helping so things can run more smoothly. My dad made a complaint about his food (Piri Piri chicken) and she NEVER came to the table to see what was the problem and how she could solve it. She removed 1$ of my dad’s bill!!!! 😡😡. To you, owners of that St-Hubert in Ottawa, she is the worst manager I’ve ever seen and I couldn’t believe that St-Hubert’s standards have changed that much so they would tolerate such an rude, useless and unfriendly person as Kathy.

Ordered in advance, waited more than 20 minutes in line for the 3 cars ahead only to get the wrong order, finally got everything straight and got home to find out that the strapping had been done so tight that it broke the gravy containers and so everything was soaked in gravy, soggy & cold from the wait. So much for Friday night dinner.
