I can’t figure this place out - it’s so hit and miss. Maybe it’s just a matter of ordering the right stuff? I want to like it, but it’s way too inconsistent.
The spicy california crab roll was ok. Not great or terrible.
The salmon california roll was all over the place - some pieces were good, and in others the salmon was very tough and sinewy, and made me question whether the salmon was going to make me sick.
The spicy salmon tempura roll had about 5-6 birds eye chilies in each bite which is a ridiculous amount of heat. We had a little pile of chilies leftover from just 2 rolls.
Take out a mountain of chili peppers out and the tempura roll is awesome - like really good!
The rice, cucumber and avocado was good quality.
The ginger used is not good, is very low quality, and questionable.

Sushi is decent but tempura and gyoza needs work. Tempura breading uses the crunchy type of fine panko bread crumbs which makes it taste too dry and dense with how it is fried here. Gyoza wrappers are also a little too thick and hard, but may be better if eaten right away instead of letting it sit for a while as takeout.

You order off their website for delivery. They will call you to confirm the order and give you a time estimate. The delivery time was on point. The sushi, I really did enjoy and the yakitory was amazing. I also enjoyed the miso soup. The only reason for the 4 stars is the tempura wasn't that great. I just think it was a big order and tempura got cold so it wasn't as good. Probably be better for dine in with tempura. The quality is there for tempura at least. They gave me soy sauce bottles and extra soup which was very nice. I would rate this restaurant a 4.5 and would definitely order here again. Great mama and papa shop overall.

Ordered from here approx. 20 times. It’s about time I write a review. Great food, great people, definitely deserve your business. You won’t be disappointed. Order what you like. Sushi/maki/sashimi can be very different from item to item. If you’re “trying something new” don’t be surprised if it’s not your favourite thing. Order food items you’ve enjoyed in the past and you’ll be very happy with the result.

Best sushi I've had in Ottawa by far. It's consistently good which I'm unable to say about many of the other sushi places here.
The staff are always very friendly aswell.
If they don't deliver in your area, it's worth making a drive for.

One of my favorite spots for sushi in Ottawa! The online ordering system is easy to use, and their prices are very reasonable. They’ll give you a call to confirm the order and the timing. It took an hour for the food to arrive, but the sushi was packed well, tasted very fresh and I was able to pay by card at the door.

Excellent sushi! Tried the maki combo, spicy combo, and super spicy combo. The super spicy combo was my favourite! The tempura shrimp was amazing!
