I'm just gonna come right out and say this, Tamis cafe is the one place I would love to have next door. The place I'd go to on most days of the week, to grab a coffee to kickstart my morning, or to hang out and read a good book or to just have a cozy with a gastronomic delight of a rendezvous with friends or family. I still have to try out all the menu though. Oh! the stir-fried noodles is a must-try. BTW, me and my family did have an excellent experience here. The owner/chef, Lisa, was a delight as well. And I meant amicable and so were the staff.

Food was well cook preparation was great. I had for dessert a Halo Halo it was incredible not too sweet. I really recommend this place to everyone. My 3 friends and I had the best lunch ever at Tamis last Saturday. The staff were so sweet and friendly. The beef mechado was divine and my friends enjoyed their chicken dishes. Mango cheesecake was awesome. They have a beautiful selection of fine teas which are served piping hot in a teapot. My friends has fancy cappuccinos which they were thoroughly impressed with. I am looking for opportunities to return to Tamis!

Chicken Adoboooooooooooooooo!!!!! My wife and father-in-law have come twice already and I've been dying to come. I'm so happy I got the chance to stop in today. I had the chicken adobo. It was amazing! Cassava Cake for dessert and it was delicious, in fact it was the best I've ever had. The family who runs this restaurant are very friendly and great at what they do. Can't wait to go through all the other things on the menu.!

After eating here for the first time today, I will definitely be telling all my friends to make a visit to this adorable restaurant. The staff are incredibly friendly and the restaurant itself is charming. To top it off, the food tastes just like my own mom's Filipino cooking, so it has my stamp of approval. We had the chicken adobo and the lumpia and they were both amazing. The coconut macaroons are my favourite! I will be sure to go back again!

Cozy, classy "cafe" in the Glebe hood…Great location, excellent food and very good coffee! The best part…the owners "care" about their customers. They are so friendly, you wouldn't want to leave the place. True! If you are a Filipino dining in, you will notice and be surprised how many Caucasians coming in and out or dining in…and as if the owners know them very well. It surprises me more, when one of them try to order the "halo-halo!". Finally, Filipino culinary talents are showcasing around Ottawa.
