Review Lunchbox - Ottawa

The wraps here are amazing and there are so many unique options to choose from. The cookie dough is really good also! I would not recommend the sandwiches here, the bread is good but the amount of bread is overpowering to the sandwich. My favourite wrap is the Nutty Professor

Agh. We love lunch box! What a great little local restaurant!! We have tried 4 or 5 of their sandwiches/wraps now and each one has been 10/10 fantastic. They have some side dishes like potato salad and regular salad. They have beans on the menu too but they havnt had them in stock for us to try. So far weve loved EVERYTHING. OH! They also have edible cookie dough!

Everything they do is great. Some of my faves are “fire drill” or “summer dress” or “Sean Evans”. The beet salad is amazing. My only complaint - there’s not one on my side of town. (South End… please open one!)

UPDATED REVIEW: I’m so sad to have to update my review, but I find it necessary, as they have changed SO much from the restaurant I originally reviewed. They switched to a delivery service I wasn’t a fan of, so it had been a long time since I ordered from them. I decided to pop in when I was in the area, and was so disappointed. They no longer had my favourite sandwich (the Hopscotch Hero), got rid of the best salad dressing they had (salsa verde vinaigrette), stopped putting crispy onions on the salad I normally ordered (the best part), and now they press their sandwiches?! Honestly, this restaurant used to be my favourite and I would order twice a month. As I said in my original review, they catered my wedding because I was over the moon with the product they offered. I know they are a small business, and I love supporting small businesses, but they don’t seem to care about their loyal customers who loved what they were doing. I still get messages from family asking me to remind them of the “amazing sandwich place from your wedding”, and I have to tell them not to bother because it is nothing like that anymore. When I mentioned how I sad I was that everything changed, I was informed it was to make training new staff easier?! Putting the ease of training before offering your loyal customers what they know and love is just sad. I won’t be going back, and I know I’m not the only one. I want the old Lunchbox back!! ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is my favourite place in Orleans! They catered my wedding, and everyone kept saying how delicious it was! The ingredients are always fresh and perfect. The cookie dough is a nice little treat to add on, and it’s such a good price that I don’t mind! When I go in to place an order, they’re always cheery and polite! Super friendly and delicious food keeps me coming back again and again!

Delicious sandwiches! Everything is local, fresh and made in house (buns, sauce, snacks, cookie dough, no cold cuts, ...). I tried their Class Clown, P. A. Day, Sean Evens, with snacks and cookies... each unique and sooo tasty! The lunch combo is totally worth it (sandwich, drink, cookie dough, and a snack) The staff is exceptional and super friendly, they really care about their customers experience. I went with my coworkers, they loved it. I went with my wifey, she loved it and she then went with her coworkers and everyone loved the food. The current location is small, but cosy with a fun '90s theme. You can play N64 while you wait. I highly recommend this place for quick and delicious food. Wish these young man lots of success!

Have had lunch from here several times. Their sandwiches are always yummy! My favourites are the Yoga wrap and the PHD.

I finally took the time to try this place yesterday, and it did not disappoint! The customer service was great! I had the Straight A's sandwich (of course!) with the Schoolyard Slaw and their special cookie dough of the day (it had maple syrup and pecans in it... that's all anyone needs to know). Everything was fresh and delicious! I honestly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for great, original, healthy and local food. Charming decor and restaurant theme. Take the time to visit the Lunch Box!

I've been a customer at LunchBox since before they moved to their St. Joseph location and I cannot say enough good things about this place! It's fun and healthy but best of all, it tastes SO GOOD! LunchBox recently provided my event's Entertainers with healthy sandwiches, veggies, and snacks! Everything was delicious and helped fuel the team that brought our event to life! I highly recommend this place whether you're looking to shake up your lunch during the week, you need some shopping energy for your weekend or if you need to feed a group of hard-working people! I love this place. Excellent service and fresh and delicious food. My work has ordered from here a couple times and each time we all have been very pleased with the experience. Only suggestion I would recommend would to have an option to add meat to your salads (sorry if this is an option and I keep missing it!). Well done LunchBox, I look forward to exploring more of your menu!

So good. I've eaten here a few times and its quickly becoming my favourite place to pick up a meal when I'm pressed for time after work. Ingredients (including the AMAZING bun) are fresh and the sides are so fun - dill potato salad is my favourite. I strongly recommend checking it out - if not for the food for the cool decor and stellar service. Sandwiches = life.

I am seriously addicted to this place. Their sandwiches are amazing- real carved meats, not deli slices, and always a unique topping that compliments the sandwich. I Love getting the Lunch Box � specials because it comes with a wee cookie dough (without the guilt)! If you haven't tried this place, you are missing out.

Amazing wraps, so fresh, every bite was delicious and full of flavor. The crispy/spicy plantain chips with jerk mayo were sooo good and the cookie dough cookie, c'mon! What else can you say... will be back and if you haven't been hurry up, you have no idea what you are missing!
