Excellent customer service, very clean and quiet place. The employees were very sweet and even tho it’s is a fast food place, it was such a relaxing atmosphere with VERY fast service ! Wow! The food delicious, definitely going back to try more items on the menu!

Wow just wow! Clean place, friendly and welcoming staff, and above all… great burgers! We ate Mexican and new Orleans and they were to die for.

Bought the California burgers. My wife said "this is clearly the best burger I ever had" and I couldn't agree more!! Already thinking of my next meal there 😛

Okayish. Had the Montreal special burger, it was dry and not so appealing for me.

I would give them a 5 but the fries arrived cold and were relatively low portion given the price. Other than that, the burger was phenomenal. Very tasty and I wish I ordered a second one instead of getting the fries. I dont particularly understand many of the reviews that are negative, but im guessing each experience is different. I will order from here again.

We tried this place for the first time today. I have had gourmet burgers before. The “Calgary Burger” was the best burger I have ever had. The patty was the perfect thickness. The pulled pork and smoked meat worked beautifully with it. The bun was soft and smooth. And the onion ring was a creative and delicious addition. Each time I took a bite, I was surprised at the height of which I enjoyed it. Thank you!!

Very tasty. Like a refined five guys that does truly have a world wide menu. Cant wait to come back and try different burgers.

Where do I even start? The Selection of burgers is definitely by far something I totally recommend checking out. From maple mayo, candy bacon on the Ottawa burger, or even pineapple on the Maui burger. Today I tried the Calgary burger, and let me tell you, If you like meat, I totally commend trying it out. You will not be disappointed. Very well portioning. It’s a little pricey, but you definitely get your money’s worth.Thank you World Burger for your services. :)

Best burger and service around, hands down! For those of us that can’t eat gluten, this is a MUST. Gluten-free heaven!!! The GF buns are actually tasty and moist. I also had sweet potato fries with my burger. All delicious! GF or not, You won’t be disappointed! You gotta eat here! ;)

I had the Paris burger and sweet potato fries. Loved the pear/brie flavors on the burger, but found the burger a little greasy and the bun was soggy. The fries were delicious! Service was good and the staff friendly. Wouldn't rush to go back but I'd eat there again given the opportunity.

Had the venace burg it was delicious. Service was also great. Only downfall was I had to eat with my coat on cause it was absolutely freezing. But in all it was a great place :) I'd definitely go back.

Awesome burgers, very decently priced and worth the short wait. The poutine is not the best I've ever had, but definitely a very generous portion size for the price and the gravy is slammin'. I will absolutely be back soon.

If your Gluten intolerant do not eat at World Burger. My wife had the gluten free burger and has been suffering ever since.

I had the Louisana Burger and thought I had does and gone to heaven! The bun so fresh, burger homemade style and the pulled pork coleslaw Chipotle dressing makes it all truly amazing! Full for the whole day...satisfied my hungry appetite. The fries are a memory a good one just no room left. You gotta eat here! Great staff, clean and efficient.

Montreal burger is amazing- possibly the best burger I have ever had! Onion rings rock!

I had the Paris burger and my husband had the burger with the egg can’t remember the name . Both were amazing yes pricy for a burger but we were stuffed at the end. Will go again

The Ottawa burger is the best burger I have ever had!

I've seen worse things done to GFS supplied products. I love the Ace Bakery buns. Fries are ok. The burger itself is adequate. I admire the creativity in toppings. I had a Maui Burger (Bacon, pineapple, sweet teriyaki mayo) and it was a neat change. If you're in the area, check it out. I still like BFF better.

Best sweet potato fries

Worst service/burger for a place called "World Burger". What you get is a 10$ squished burger with a rock hard dry patty. My order was wrong when i received it and missing fries. When we called to let them know they told us to come pick them up and that it wasn't their problem. The poutine is disgusting as well. 7$ for the smallest poutine you could possibly order. First and last time i'll ever go there.

Visited the Orléans location wish is pretty good overall just disappointed with the use of plastic utensils and straws

My husband and I decided to try this place in our anniversary. We still felling severely ill 44 hours after meal. We ended up at the hospital and diagnosed with food poisoning contracted a bacterium generated by lack of hygiene. <br/><br/>I called the manager and he was unprofessional and didn’t care, I feel sad for the owners, they probably don’t have any idea about what is happening!<br/><br/>Very average place, for the prices, nothing special at all! Expensive, no great taste, slow and poor costumer service. I recommend find better places in Ottawa! We are NOT going back again!!!

Excellent customer service. The wide range of specialty topping was a definite plus. The burgers are quite generous. The only problem was that the meat itself was dry. Over cooked with no juiciness dry. The only thing that saved it was the toppings which more than compensated for the dry meat. Even the fries were good. This place is more 3 1/2 stars, but not a 4 so I had to go low because of the dry meat.

This place is just excessively average. The food is bland, the atmosphere is bland, and their free wifi doesn't work. There's nothing really wrong with it, but there are plenty of better places to go. That being said, the staff seemed nice based on the few times I went.

Quick burgers. Has alot of flavours and the fries are good. Big enough space to sit and not feel crowded. The flavours together go well with each other.

Can't go wrong unless you pick a burger with a topping you don't like and even the you might be surprised. Tasty good sized patties, soft bun and great melt. Always double the patty for the full effect!

Ordered bacon cheeseburger and it was so-so. Burger was ok, lightly seasoned, average size but seemed toppings had been hastily slapped on. Wouldn't order the bacon again as it seemed like it had been cooked hours prior and kept warm under heat lamp. Also had the "Traditional" poutine which was tasty. The gravy was hot & flavourful while fries were ok. Won't lie sodium content of gravy crossed my mind a few times but acknowledge I was eating fast food. <br/><br/>Overall decent but wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

The absolute best burger in Ottawa.   The owners of Montana's should take a walk over there and figure out how these guys make a burger for half the price and twice the quality.  The staff are friendly and the sweet potato fries are amazing. The only suggestion I would make is to get more comfortable chairs.

Amazing burgers. Been here multiple times and try something different each chance I get. My favorite burger is the Paris burger. The ambiance is good the food is freshly made and delivered to your table and the service is friendly. They also deliver through skip the dishes which is nice.

Pretty damn good! They have lots of options of burgers with interesting toppings and the burgers are made fresh to order. Good sides options too, a nice variety of poutines. Pretty good overall. It's a little pricey, as this place falls into the gourmet burger category, but worth it. I did find however that the party was a tad small for the price, but it was still good. $16 for a jump burger combo with upgraded poutine. Wouldn't pay that very often, but now and then is fine. Overall, I would say try it if you are a fan of burgers!

This is THE BEST BURGER IN OTTAWA. This unassuming place is a gem! My search for the best burger in Ottawa effectively ended here. Not a fan of all the different toppings, but they don't hurt. The poutine is ok - sometimes its cold. <br/><br/>The service here is so good, they will go the extra mile for you.

Good burgers, got take out and was hot when got home. Poutine was killer, really enjoyed that! Will defiantly go back for poutine. I didn't get the right burger and didn't enjoy it but the party was good so my bad, next time I'll try the Mexican instead of Venice.

Took them 3 tries to bring me the correct (and incredibly simple) order: classic hamburger with fries. Fries were cold and hamburger patty was burnt. Ketchup dispenser was empty and wifi wasn't working either. Obviously nothing drawing me back for another visit.

One of the better burgers I have had. I got the one with pulled pork & tangy coleslaw on it. It was juicy and packed with flavour. The burger patty itself wasn't huge, probably about average size. But it was damned tasty.<br/><br/>I'd definitely go back if in the mood for quick burger.

Has both pros and cons. A friend recommended World Burger to me, so i decided to try it next time i was in the area; I'm glad I did! The Paris burger was a wonderful blend of flavours, with honey-poached pears and brie cheese. The bun was already soggy when i unwrapped it, though. The poutine was a very generous size, but way too salty! Overall, this is one place worth trying, for the gourmet toppings alone.

Excellent!! Nice juicy burgers with fresh toppings. My favourite is the Venice! Love the they have a Dublin special for St. Patty's Day. I went last night and they 'World Sized' my fries for free! Great prices too, dinner for two is no one than &25!

Hands down best burger in town. I had the Santa Fe burger, husband had the World burger, and we are still salivating about them 3 days later...<br/><br/>Poutine is salty, onion rings are good but not exceptional but the burgers made us forget everything and anything in between.<br/><br/>Service was superb. I didn't want bacon on mines, and husband's burger had bacon, the server actually came out to ask if the bacon was still okay on hubby's burger. Amazing!<br/><br/>Love the prices, fast-food environment. Will go again. And Again. AND AGAIN!

World Burger. Awesome burger, just wish the sauce had some tang to the special sauce.

Love this place. I have eaten here many times and the Burgers are always delicious. Sure it costs more than your typical chain fast food joint but it is worth the extra couple of bucks.

Really delicious and unique burgers. Without a combo they will run you $9 taxes in, which is a bit expensive but quality costs. The meat is cooked really well and the bun is really soft and squishy which absorbs all the sauces, but falls apart easily too, not sure if I like it myself for the messy factor but it tastes great and doesn't take away from the inside which is important. Employees at the cash are either really nice (owner) or abrupt and unpleasant (others). Anyways make your own assumptions I enjoyed it!

Delicious food, friendly staff!. The burgers here are amazing! The patties are well seasoned and juicy, and the toppings are exotic and delicious. I would definitely recommend the Mexican burger. Onion rings are also great, they remind a bit of the ones you get at The Works. Staff is very nice, made sure we were satisfied and gave us a free drink!

Had the Ottawa burger for lunch. Solid burger with a tasty sauce. For a fast food joint where they prepare everything fresh I don't think you could ask for better. Don't go in expecting a burger like you would get at the WORKS - this is not in the same niche (definitely a lower price point here). I would definitely return and I'm looking forward to trying the poutine next time.

Delicious "fast food". Tried World Burger for the first time yesterday and it was delicious! In a city with so many burger choices it's refreshing to have something delicious like this as opposed to some of the other garbage around (bff). Definitely recommend.

Disgusting. Don't waste your time. Good concept but horrible execution. Stale bread and mediocre meat. Made me want to eat McDonald's and I hate McDonald's.

Burgers that are well thought out and Tasty!! EPIC POUTINE. You like burgers? Be honest, because this is a damn delicious burger. If you are a weirdo who likes gourmet 20 minute burgers, get in your minivan and get lost. Multiple varieties of poutine to boot. Only thing that would make this place heaven is beer.

A little expensive but worth every penny. The management is extremely friendly and has provided the best customer service I've ever had. They joked around with my boyfriend and exceeded the expectations in quality and quantity.

Best Burger Place!. The burgers are so big and juicy with prices lower than places like the Works or Prime Burger. The staff are SOOO NICE, they are so helpful and extremely generous with portions. Sweet potato fries are the bombbb and the world burger is my go-to when I have that burger-meat craving!

In a word WOW!. Hands down the best burger in Ottawa. Done on the flat top these burgers are juicy and greasy the way a burger should be. Had the World Burger ,a double patty with cheese and bacon and it was phenomenal. They use high quality bacon that you can actually taste. Bacon was cooked perfectly leaving a tad bit of chew and fat that just adds so much to a burger. Rings are the breaded variety with enough onion taste so you know your eating an onion ring instead of just breading. All toppings were of high quality right down to the bun. Fries are fresh cut no frozen garbage in this joint and rival most chip trucks in the city. I noticed a poutine go by and the gravy was the darker variety the way a true poutine is done. This place is serving up some really good eats.

Delicious Burgers. We tried out World Burger in Nepean last night for the first time. The burgers were fantastic. They were big and juicy and drippy. There's quite a variety so you may want to check out their menu on line before going. We found the French fries a little to salty. There weren't very many people in the restaurant when we were there. Let's go burger fans - get out there and support this place. You won't be sorry!!

Great Big Burger. My Coworker and I ordered the Sydney Burger and the Ottawa Burger (with extra mayo) and was not disappointed. The paddies were big, and very tasty.. We are definitely going back.

BEST VEGGIE BURGER EVER!. My boyfriend and I stopped in World burger today for a quick bite and were definitely not disappointed. We're always on the search for the perfect veggie burger, and I have to say, this is the best one we've had so far! Food was great, and so was the service. The guy who served us was super nice and friendly. We will definitely be going back :)

An excellent burger. A co-worker and I just visited World Burger for the first time and were blown away by our awesome burgers. World Burger has just raised the burger bar in this town. <br/><br/>I had the Ottawa burger, which I have to say, is THE best burger I’ve had in Ottawa to date. The mix of flavours was outstanding: Maple mayo, sautéed onions and mushrooms, candied bacon and cheddar cheese. <br/><br/>My co-worker had the Mexican burger and was equally impressed with the flavour combination: Guacamole mayo, jalapeno, Mexican bacon salsa & pepper jack cheese. <br/><br/>The bun is super fresh and tasty, while not being excessively large. I like the burger to shine; not the bun. The two of us split a sweet potato fry that came with a delicious dipping sauce. One regular order is lots for 2 people. We were stuffed.<br/><br/>I will be returning very soon, to continue my journey around their burger globe.

Best burgers in Canada.. I've been here three times and the burgers are SPECTACULAR! I don't even live in the area, but it's worth the trek. Seriously, if you want a quality burger made to perfection you must come here. Their onion rings and sweet potato fries are awesome as well. <br/><br/>Try it out - you won't be disappointed.<br/><br/>5/5.

Amazing Burgers! Very flavourful and aren't skimpy on toppings like most burger places I find, that offer more than the traditional bacon, lettuce, tomatoe kind of toppings. I had the Maui burger, which had grilled PINEAPPLE on it with sweet potatoe fries. Needless to say it was delicious, and the patty itself was juicy and a good size. I've tried many burger places in Ottawa and this one is definitely my favourite in terms of food quality. I hope they open more locations some day!

BEST BURGERS. This was simply amazing. Finally someone who cares about Celiacs. Glutten free bun and fries that I can actually eat because they are cooked properly. Thrilled. No more of the restaurants that say they have gluten free then they cook it in a contaminated way. Definitely 5 stars in my books because it was quite delicious as well. Thank you.

Best Burgers in Town!!!. So i don't even know if i have words to describe these burgers... you just have to have one. I was extremely impressed with the quality of the meat and their menu... perfect size! not overly confusing and well thought out. I love how welcomed you feel and not like you're being watched. I'll be bringing everyone here from now on

A Great Place. What's not to like? The poutine - in all its varieties - is the best I've had. And the two sizes available are generous. If you order the "Meal" size poutine, take the name seriously. This is a BIG serving. I particularly like the Montreal smoked meat poutine.<br/><br/>The burgers are big, juicy, properly cooked and the toppings are fresh. The fountain drinks are bottomless.<br/><br/>The restaurant itself is bright, airy and clean, clean, clean. The folks who run World Burger are terrific. Friendly, eager to please and love to chat with customers. They make the atmosphere of the place warm and welcoming.<br/><br/>My wife, who is no great burger lover, keeps sending me back for take-out. That's the best recommendation World Burger could get.

Fantastic Burger!. Wow! I haven't had a burger that good in a long time!! After reviewing all the different options available, I selected the Sydney burger and my wife chose the Maui burger. They were nothing short of amazing, fresh burger patty with a delicious combination of added items that make these unique combinations the tastiest! The Sydney burger comes with bacon, Swiss cheese, an egg and an onion ring while the Maui burger comes with grilled pineapple, bacon, Swiss cheese and sweet teriyaki sauce. The sauce was really good and the egg bread bun was also a really great addition. I had the onion rings which were super (they came with a yummy dipping sauce!). The fries are fairly similar to New York Fries, fresh and great tasting - I wasn't the biggest fan because I thought they were a little bit soft, and I prefer them crispier. All in all, a great meal with good atmosphere and great service. I'm looking forward to going with the kids next time!

My husband tried World Burger last week and had the basic bacon cheese burger and really enjoyed it, so we went together last last night. My husband had the Venice burger and I had the Ottawa burger. We both enjoyed the burgers we ordered although mine was a bit sweet and I would try something different next time. The owner was friendly and the decor was simple but nice. We will definatley be back.

Had the Venice burger. It was delicious and tasty. Very messy tho. I wish they would put a toothpick in (or something) to keep the burger from sliding around<br/><br/>The onion rings were good too. Nice and crunchy.<br/><br/>Service is friendly. Keep up the good work!

We will be back!. Tried it for the first time this week, mid-evening on a Tuesday. Good size crowd for that time of night so was not sure how things would go. My son timed them to see how long it would take them to fill our order and he was impressed. Everyone enjoyed there food, my daughter loved her poutine and I has very happy that the bun was not bigger than the burger! The decor is very simplistic so don't expect anything fancy but they have a good size menu and I hope my next choice from it is as good as the one that I just had. <br/><br/>Should be noted that I had the Maui, which is not on their on-site menu, which included a grilled pineapple. Hope they continue to have it on the menu as it was very, very good.

Stumbled upon this place by accident. I needed to do a bunch of errands. Got hungry and was deciding where to eat. World Burger is in a lot of competition as it is next to (in a 100m radius) so many restaurants. Decided to try it as it was new and I like to try new things<br/><br/>Love it! Been there 4 times in the past 3 weeks. Love the Athens and Venice burgers. Wanted to try the Tokyo burger because I love Japanese food, but based on one reviewer, I'll stay away. <br/><br/>Poutines are pretty good. Tried the Texas one, which I liked. Had split it with a friend as a side for our burgers, but we couldn't finish it as we got too full. <br/><br/>I really like the onion rings, one of the better ones from all the fast food places I've been to. Goes really great with the mesquite sauce, which texture wise it's great (creamy, but not runny) but isn't spicy enough for me.<br/><br/>Would like to try everything on the menu, especially the hot dogs.

Depends what you order, maybe.. Try it for the poutine.<br/><br/>I tried the Tokyo burger and would not recommend it to anyone. To start it was impossible to eat it like a regular burger. The pieces of meat inside were deep fried in batter and stacked on top of each other. Since the pieces were small, hard, sharp edged, and irregularly shaped one could not hold them together in the bun to fit it in one's mouth as a result. Everything was greasy and the bun was one of those sugary, cheap processed ones like you'd get from a cheap fast food chain. I ate it because I was hungry, but there was really no redeeming qualities and the amount of grease made my stomach feel ill after.<br/><br/>My friend had the Ottawa burger. He said it was okay but he expected more for the price. He also didn't like the sugary bun.<br/><br/>I decided to give World Burger a second chance since the Tokyo burger was something fairly irregular. I found out that where this place really shines is its poutine. I've eaten poutine all over Quebec and as far west as Saskatchewan - the further you get from Quebec the worse the poutine gets IMO, so quality poutine close to home is appreciated. I got a bacon poutine, because why not. BACON! You get a large quantity here and the quality of ingredients is also good. The man behind the counter proudly stated he only uses St. Albert's cheese curds, which is the proper way to do it. The gravy was nice and thick with a flavor I liked. <br/><br/>The service is over the top. The guy running the place is extremely friendly and goes out of his way to help, which is great. He likes to talk which I think a lot of people like. I personally like a bit less attention however when eating fast food. I kind of want to just, eat. It feels a bit awkward after a while. But that's just me.<br/><br/>Interesting decor. Made to look like an airport, and bathrooms are like what you'd expect on an airplane (tiny). I thought it was creative, the only negative being the fascinatingly small sinks that are really hard to wash one's hands in.

Yum. We had the Ottawa burger and the jumbo dog with sides of sweet potato and regular fries. The ottawa had sautéed mushrooms onions, caramelized bacon and some other ingredients I can't recall.... Scrumptious!<br/><br/>Airport deco .. Even the washrooms. Will be back!

Great Burgers. Our family of five chose to try this restaurant for the first time. At first bite, my son (who is a picky eater) said it was now his favorite restaurant. We all enjoyed the burgers (kids burger, classic bacon cheese burger, Ottawa Burger, Mexican Burger & World Burger). We also tried the Greek Poutine, fries, onion rings and sweet potato fries. My girls loved the sweet potato fries, my son devoured the traditional fries and my husband and oldest thoroughly enjoyed the poutine. I preferred the onion rings which were big and well cooked (loved the crunch). <br/><br/>I'm working this evening and just received a note that my husband is taking the kids back there to try some of the other burger flavors. Needless to say we will definitely be going back there.

DELICIOUS. My husband and both had the sweet potato fries which were crispy and the Paris burger (OMG with Brie, pears and caramelized onions!) and we're very happy with our meals. <br/>I loved the airport theme and thought the bathrooms were cleverly done.<br/>We will be going back soon for sure.

A place for burger fans! I love burgers and general and am always looking for the best burger spots and this place definitely ranks in my top burger joints in Ottawa. The patty was thick but not too thick that it overpowers everything else (cough cough *the works*) also was tender and well spiced. The toppings are unique and the burger held together very well considering u had an egg and onion ring inside it (Sydney Burger). Service was beyond friendly and the place itself was modern and very clean. Can't wait to go again!

Impressed. After dining at this new restaurant with my family, we were impressed. The burgers were delicious. I really enjoyed my Sydney burger and my husband enjoyed the Mexican burger. Well cooked and very tasty. The sweet potato fries we got for the kids were crispy (usually most restaurants serve them soggy). My kids really enjoyed practicing their reading on the wall of cities. It was a great experience, and we will definitely go back again. Great job!

I had hope for this burger joint... The first time we ate here (shortly after opening) it was great. Unfortunately, tonight, it was terrible. Buns were cheap and stale, the beef patties were no longer seasoned with Montreal steak spice, the ketchup in Heinz bottles seems to be sine cheap watery ketchup? What happened??? Our meals came to 45$ for three single burgers, an order of fries, an order of rings and an order of sweet potato fries. Two waters and an iced tea. They are charging top quality prices but subbing out cheap eats. Shame. I don't see this place around for too long. They will get everyone in once but that's all unless they shape up and improve the quality and lower their prices.

Just came back from here. It was my first time trying it out. Had a great experience. The service was fast and friendly. They had a Creative menu, nice decor, all that stuff. But what I was real impressed with was the food. I had the Sydney burger and my wife had a Paris burger. We shared a Montreal poutine. The food was absolutely amazing! I absolutely loved The Sydney burger. (I like eggs) and this one has a sunny side egg on top contained nicely with an onion ring so the yolk doesn't get everywhere. My wife really enjoyed her burger and the poutine was out of this world

I was really hoping to like it here but I don’t. I tried the Mexican burger and it didn’t come as described on the menu. It came topped with jalapenos which I love but they don’t like me so if I would have known I would have ordered without, so now I’m paying for it as I write this even after picking them all off but it didn’t stop me eating one at my first bit. I also didn’t see any guacamole mayo on mine, cheese or bacon, but some orange like sauce and some lettuce tossed with oil or dressing was on it. Maybe the orange sauce was the Mexican bacon as stated on the menu description. My partner ordered the Tokyo burger. The Tempura batter was overcooked and to greasy. The whole thing had no taste and I’m not even sure if there was any teriyaki mayo on it as it was just one big heap of battered grease.<br/> <br/>I thought about bringing it back but after seeing the cook and cashier have a little dispute over a previous order that involved some swearing (in front of kids...nothing like hearing the f bomb from employee’s. What is wrong with people?) So I decided against saying anything and have simply chosen to not return.

Ianr. Amazing burger. So fresh and tasty.....tried the montreal burger!!! You gotta try this place you won't be sorry. The owner is so friendly...great promp customer service and nice décor. This new burger joint blew my sox off....can't wait to go back.....

I love how they have gluten free buns and I'm finally able to eat a burger! No other burger restaurant in the area does. The burger was amazing and the service was great.

Today I tried the Athens Burger at World Burger and it was fantastic! The lamb was juicy with feta nicely melted on top. Sliced black olives,cherry tomato, cucumber, chopped onion and lettuce add nice texture but the very different apricot chutney they use gives this burger its signature taste. A real thumbs up for me. Just sorry I didn't take a picture of it!

Nice people. Family owned. Nice look and cool menu. My burger was good though a little cold. My wife really liked hers and it was hot.

World Burger: Big, Juicy, Perfection. What a treat it was discovering this new hot burger joint just off one of the most traffic heavy streets in Ottawa, Merivale Road. I say this with complete honesty, whatever you have to do to get to the ordering counter at World Bar is well worth the hassle. WB reaches every corner of the earth with its culturally focused ingredients (tempura burger with Asian slaw, maple-mayo and candied bacon burger, honey poached pears, caramelized onion and brie to name a few). Or, if you want the ultimate hunger-satisfying burger, you can go with the World Burger (double patties, double cheddar anyone?) I took a trip ‘down under’ and ordered a Sydney Burger, topped with a fried over-easy egg (the yolk literally oozes between the bun), an onion ring, bacon and swiss cheese. My recommendation?
