What a gem! Delicious schnitzel sandwiches $13 and platters $21. The sandwiches are so huge they should be shared.
The food was delicious and good value for money.
Tucked in the industrial park on Cyrville road, you could easily miss Schnitzel Works if you weren’t looking for it. A classic lunch spot, it is not open for dinner, except for Saturday. The restaurant is small, maybe 20 seats. It has a bit of a dinner feel to it, very casual.
A unique treat. The sandwiches are huge, the shnitzel is double the size of the bun. The service is friendly and the prices are good. I wish that they were open for dinner so I could go more often.
Best Lunch Ever!. This is one of the East ends best secret. Anytime you go the food is fresh and made with love. The place is clean and the staff friendly. Their sandwiches and amazing and to die for. Also all their baked goods are home made. I just love their donuts and rum balls. I have had almost everything on the menu and its all super tasty. I have been going now for over 3 years and it has always been just amazing.
Great. Lots of food for a cheap price. Love this place, just wish it were open on Sundays.
Great Food!. Really good food and quick service. I'm a big eater and the schnitzel there is huge!
Do yourself a favor, try the Borsh Soup. It's to die for!!
Incredible. Schnitzel Works is absolutely going to be our new Saturday breakfast/lunch destination. This morning was the second time we've been and the food is simply lovely. The Jager Schnitzel with mushroom gravy haunts my dreams. We seriously contemplated buying up a week's worth of sauerkraut after the meal was done. Considering how full we were - the portions are generous, and excellent value for the money - this earnest discussion about purchasing all the sauerkraut we could carry post-meal should tell you all you need to know. Going to Schnitzel Works is like visiting your German grandmother's house who happens to be a culinary genius and loves you very much. Don't pass this place by, it is worth venturing down Cyrville Rd. past the industrial park to visit. We're totally sold.
The the main idea behind this restaurant is pork schnitzels on a kaiser bun. They do have a small selection of other dishes but if you are going here it is likely to be for the schnitzel.
This is a small restaurant. I didn't count but would be suprised if there was seating for more than 20 people.
Located in the middle of an industrial park the restaurant was quite clean and nicely decorated
Service was very fast and polite. Though I am not sure if the former was because there where only three people there (including myself) when I ordered.
The food, while not amazing, was still quite good. The schnitzels come with no sides but the portion sizes more than make up for that.
Overall it was a good experience. I will likely go back. Likely when I am craving schnitzel.
Chicken schnitzel club is unbelievably delish! Really, it just can't get any better than this.
Had the pork Gypsy Platter. Got it with Spätzle.
First of all...Jayzus! That was BIG!
The schnitzel tasted great with the cheese and fried onions. I could do without the peppers personally but that's just personal preference. The spätzle was tasty and firm.
Well worth the cost. Will definitely be back.
Personally, the fact there was near no one in the restaurant was great but obviously not good for their business.
One of the best Schnitzel spots in town!!! Loved the quality and portion size of the schnitzels! They tasted incredible, and really loved the variety of schnitzel flavours to choose from!
I had the Canadian chicken Schnitzel with onion rings and it was delicious. Large portion as you can tell on the picture, and a large piece of breaded chicken in a large loaded bun. Friendly service, quick service. Will definitely go back and try one of their other schnitzel options. Recommended!
Been here many times. Always amazing food!
Tried the Mexican, the Greek and now the Australian pork schnitzel (my new favourite!!!)
Yummy spot for lunch! It was our first time having schnitzel so I can't really compare it to anything else but the portions were large and it tasted great so we certainly enjoyed it.
The best Schnitzel in town. Taste delicious and super fresh, made at order. Owner is super friendly and you can see that they care about their products. Absolutely we are ordering again and probably make it one of our usual take outs. Just bear in mind that they only open for lunch till 4pm. Overall...a great find.
I had the gypsy Schnitzel. Large portion and super delicious!
Don’t assume the serving size of the schnitzel is making up for something lacking elsewhere. It’s absolutely delicious. Just grabbed an Austrian style Pork Schnitzel with a side order of kraut and it was the real deal. Worth leaving the immediate downtown area for without question.
