Some of the best dim sum you have ever tasted anywhere is back in Ottawa. Was there tonight and the new place is much larger and nicer. Food is fantastic as it always was. Can't believe it's been almost two years since they were open. Was not disappointed! Now don't go there if you are in a rush, for those of you who don't know, everything is made-to-order and will be some of the freshest dim sum you have ever tasted. In fact it is one of the top dim sum restaurants that I have ever been to even after having lived in Toronto for five years and having travelled extensively around Asia. Wait time today was about 15 min. We had the har gow, siu mei, lor mai gai (sticky rice), rice noodles, yu choy and sesame balls to name a few. All were excellent. The lor mai gai was a little overdone and clumpy, but the others were all simply fantastic. Can't find better dim sum even from a 5-Michelin star restaurant, having had that in Toronto. I recommend going off-peak hours and taking your time when going there. Talk with your dinner mates and relax. You won't find better dim sum any place else. It's worth the wait. Also, this being the 2nd week opening, they are still training new staff in the kitchen, so the wait may be longer if the restaurant is busy. I will cut them some slack for that. Highly recommended.

Went there on my birthday, a Thursday night, with three family members. We are all Dim Sum addicts, and the food that night topped our expectations. Service was quick and attentive — were we familiar with Congee? OK then — and the food arrived piping hot and in rapid fire. My favourite was Green Onion and Ginger Squid, tenderized but not mushed, and full of flavours. Good menu, very well prepared. Try it. I don’t think it will disappoint.

Finally got around to try it today after reopening. Very happy; no disappointment. Bear in mind it's a Wednesday so it was not full and therefore it didn't take long for the food. We felt that all items we had were made "with sincerity". Very good quality; size might be smaller for some items but the quality and taste was so much better.

Great dim sum. Go early as it gets very busy. Service can be slow but well worth the wait. Made fresh to order and always served hot. Decor is beautiful and a bonus there is parking at side of building. You just have to know how to parallel park

Best hand made dim sum I've ever had. Definitely one of the best authentic cuisines in Ottawa

The best dim sum in Canada and even better than San Francisco and New York. You spoiled me for any other dim sum. Thank you re-open soon.

Best Dim Sum ever. Everything is made fresh, and tastes amazing. Small place, and food takes a bit to come out, but is worth the wait!

Went to hung sum for the first time a few days ago, LOVE the pan fried dumplings and the Shrimp and chive dumplings are to die for!!! Only thing I was missing is the soup dumplings. I had never had sesame balls but they were not what I was expecting, not my thing I guess. Overall great food, would love to see in a larger location , can't wait to come again

This is the best Dim Sum I have had in Ottawa. The restaurant is located in an old house on Somerset, so seating is limited and sometimes chilly in the winter, but the food and tea are not! Service is quick, accurate, and concise. Food is made to order, so order everything up front, seconds can take a little time. Prices are fair. There is a definite feel of care and pride in the food.

First time, service was good. Calm place to eat. Not for fancy activities, but good spot to eat in calm. They have specials, can have delivery with third company (Uber eats, dash, etc). I took 102 on menu, total 15.54$.

We visited Ottawa in March and very surprisingly found the food quality to be exceptional. Freshly made and tasty. The deep fried footballs and taro balls were the best we've ever had (even compared to dim sum in the Toronto area!).

The food is very good (like the texture HongKong Style, meaning not too soft and not too hard). Compare with most Chinese restaurants, this place is the best, and if you don't know the dishes, just ask the waitress, she would gladly help you out. Anyway, I'm very happy with the Food, and the Service.

The takeout through UberEats dim sum is pretty okay. Dining in tasted good. Did not leave much of an impression, but the food tasted good. I like the shrimp and eggplants, and shrimp hargow. The custard bun is also very standard but delicious. I would recommend getting any of the shrimp items and add the custard buns in for dessert :)

Authentic and tasty Cantonese cuisine! It’s super affordable, too. What a great place. The food arrived very quickly and was served by a nice lady. The menu is very vast so it’s easy to get lost in it. If you don’t know what to order, you should try the beef dumplings and the noodle soup with chicken.

Go for the food - not the decor or atmosphere (it's a humble environment but great place for dim sum). Foods are expertly prepared and served piping hot to table. We had sticky rice in lotus leaf, fried turnip patties, rice noodles roll with BBQ pork, spareribs in black bean sauce and pork veggie dumplings for dim sum dishes. Also ordered a Cantonese combo plate as well. They do everything well so arrive hungry and definitely over-order because you'll enjoy the leftovers later!! Warm, sincere server was genuinely attentive and caring! I love this little, unassuming and delightful restaurant.

Dim-sums were okay considering their prices. Overall prices are low, while the portion of meat in dim-sum is small. It’s fair. Chicken Feet, Steam Rice Noodle With Shrimp, and Shrimp Har Gow were delicious. Pork & Veg. Dumpling were okay. Steamed Pork Bun was so so. It didn’t have any juice and the wrap was dry. I guess these were previously frozen. Shrimp & B.B.Q.Pork Fried Rice was okay. The place is old, but it was clean. P.S. For the pictures of dimsum, I ate some.. One serving is more than what’s seen in the pictures.
