Finally visited for the first time with the recommendation from my colleague!
First impression was a little “eh…” because the building is quite old. As you get seated, you’ll feel a sense of authenticity and at-home kind of atmosphere.

For having just found it, Jadeland was quite good. Service was great and they were very polite. Excellent choices and the food was delectable. An easy recommendation for anyone in, or coming to Ottawa.

While I wasn’t able to celebrate the Lunar New Year with friends, nor able to share laughs, good food and well wishes for the year ahead, I did want to take the opportunity to reflect on these great memories.
I ordered some of my favourites (ahead of time) and scheduled a pickup for later that day.

I had not eaten here in years but, we ordered from here on Christmas Eve. After waiting well over a hour, our food was finally ready. I was frustrated, but these folks were busting their butts to get the orders out as quickly as possible. It was just a busy time everywhere. The food was so delicious
On a snowy Sunday our plan was to go to a restaurant across the street which was closed, our second option same. No choice but select one quickly we saw the sign for this which said Schewan and assumed would give us some spicy food options on a cold day.

Love this place. Best salt and pepper pork in town! :) Always wanting to come here and when I do I'm happy I did came here. I've never had bad food or bad service. I also appreciate the complimentary tea every time. It is always good. Small place and big taste.
