Really happy with my meal here! Got the basic steak and baked potato and it exceeded my expectations! House wine was amazing! Great date night place!
I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. It is far far superior to the keg in quality. I would say it rival Hy's steakhouse. The steak neptune is out of this world. I highly recommend it!
Amazing service. The food - 2 rib steak dinners were amazing. Cooked perfectly. We also ordered dessert coconut cream pie and creme brulle both were wonderful. The restaurant is large and nicely decorated and clean. We will be back for sure.
Excellent quality for the price. Friendly service. Only negative was atmosphere was a little noisy. Portions sizes were excellent. Desserts were scrumptious.
Went to Delicious Steak House last nice and was pleasantly surprised. I'd decided to give this place a try after hearing good comments. Service was excellent and the lady checked on us often to make sure everything was to our liking. I got the ribs and shrimps which were served with vegetables, sliced rosemary potatoes and garlic butter. I was very satisfied with my meal. The ribs weren't the best i'd had but they were good. Everything was great and I have no complaints. Will be back for sure
The steak is very good, they do not screw around with that, forget everything else on the menu, not because it is bad, but if you going to eat here just get the damned steak already. Only problem is that the service can be a little slow.
I've been here for dinner several times and wish this place still offered the AYCE soup and salad bar. This is quite a pricy, bogey place at dinner time. Avoid the crab cakes. Pretty good wine menu and nice decor. French onion soup is nice. Order gravy on the side for chicken or food is smothered in it. Very heavy, caloric meals. Servers are experienced but too serious. Definitely a place to come on occasion. My outing for two including wine two appetizers two meals and drinks 150$
Very good breakfast!! Always busy in the mornings. It is a little more pricey than most but worth it! Staff is a little touchy but if your lucky you will get one of the few pleasant waitresses. The decor is very nice! Calming and good atmosphere to be in.
Great food and Great service. This is quickly becoming our family's go to place for a good meal. The food has always been great, does not matter if we go during the week or during the weekend. The service has always been friendly. Raymond, you are great! Looking forward to our next meal there already.

I visited this restaurant for breakfast after running the army half marathon. While I can't speak to how the meat was (I didn't order any), my experience here was outstanding. The food was delicious (and we ate a lot!). In particular, I liked that the fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries, bananas) were not in a syrupy sugary sauce. They we're plain and delightful. Definitely my top pick for breakfast in Ottawa!
Great food and great service!. Went to DSH to celebrate a very special occasion. It was our first dining experience and it was great! Irina, our waitress, was extremely attentive and made our evening memorable. She discreetly inquired about the occasion (she knew we were celebrating something) and surprised our daughter by bringing her a special (and yummy) desert. The prime rib and steak were perfectly cooked and tasty, the sides were delicious and perfect, and the seafood pasta absolutely delicious! Will definitely go back! Great change from chain restaurants right here in Orleans (and free parking!)

We'll be back. This was our third or fourth visit to the Delicious Steak House and each time has been good.
This time we went for lunch one day and supper a couple of days later. The lunch menu is simple, fast and very tasty. I had the pea soup with a grilled cheese sandwich and it hit the spot nicely. My partner had the one piece fish and chips and she said it was very good. Also, very nicely priced.
For our supper visit, my partner chose the chicken with lobster meal which she said was again very good and I had the spaghetti along with the soup and salad bar (extra $3.50). The beef noodle soup was excellent – I almost went back for seconds. The salad bar left much to be desired – heavy on the prepared salads – pasta, potato, macaroni and something else I didn’t recognize. Not enough fresh vegetables – just some soggy lettuce and carrots, some tomato pieces, cucumber and not much else. There were some chickpeas, diced pickled beets and a few other things, but not what I was hoping for.
The spaghetti was good but smothered in meat sauce (no meatballs). I should have asked for the sauce on the side. I dumped better than half of the sauce on my used salad plate. It was pretty standard fare.
We opted for dessert. My partner had the four chocolate creation and I had the strawberry shortcake. Both were very good.
As others have mentioned here, the server was the real star of the evening and made the $75 meal a great event. She was attentive but not overwhelming and made us feel very comfortable and at home. She very much earned the $20 tip we gave her.
I hope to return to this restaurant on my next visit to Ottawa.
Awesome! Going back for the third time tonight. We are very demanding when it comes to a good place. This one has it all!
Very Good. Out of hunger and desperation i tried this place out on Saturday night March 2, my expectations were low but to my surprise, the food was AMAZING, service was good, newly decorated, (nothing fancy but modern) will be going there again for sure!!!
I have only been once for dinner and I really enjoyed it. I ordered the filet mignon and it was excellent. Definitely would go back.
I have been about 5 or 6 times now, twice for breakfast and 3 times for dinner! I love the food, the service is always friendly and prompt! They have done some much needed renovations to the restaurant and now the atmosphere is almost as good as the food! Go to restaurant in Orleans.
Delicious Steakhouse is located in Orleans, East of Ottawa. I took my family here for dinner to celebrate Family Day a few days earlier. They renovated the restaurant and it looks amazing. We ordered escargot to share, I had a New York 9oz, my wife had a Steak En Poirve, and daughter had pasta.
My steak was cooked to perfection, and my wife really enjoyed her steak. My daughter pasta was good.
Dessert we all shared a hot fudge with toasted marshmallow. It was very decadent.
I have it a 4 stars because the escargot was just ok. There wasn't much flavor. The menu states loaded ascargot however it was more loaded with mushrooms than escargot.
Dinner and dessert was very satisfying. Service was friendly and attentive.
Would definately come back.
We went to Delicious Steak House to celebrate a birthday and were extremely happy with our choice. The ambiance was cozy and classy, the food was delicious and paired with a good selection of wine. The service was fantastic and professional. We will be back that's for sure.... Thank you for a great evening !
Decided on a whim to take my mom here for her birthday tonight and I was NOT disappointed. It takes a lot for me to say food is amazing, but this food was amazing! The steak was perfectly rare, the whipped baked potato was phenomenal and that loaf of garlic bread was incredible. Our waitress was a cool, short-haired woman who spikes her hair (I want to say she was an Eastern European, but I could be wrong), and she was absolutely wonderful. I will absolutely be back. Prices are on par with other steakhouses, but the ambiance was great.
Our experience was SO incredible, I am actually writing this as supper is wrapping up this evening. Trust me when I say this is the ONLY place you should come for steak. To note: ALL of the food is absolutely delicious. You really can't go wrong!! We had the calamari and bang bang shrimp to start. Mains included the Steak Royale and Steak Neptune. Their fresh bread and garlic butter was to die for. Every single element was absolute perfection. Even the atmosphere. In addition to that, what really topped off the experience was Raymond's service and incredible attention to detail. His care and passion made the night so very lovely. Thank you so much, Raymond! We look forward to our next visit! We are so lucky to have you and Delicious Steakhouse in Orleans!
Tonight we had the pleasure of eating at Delicious Steakhouse for the second time. Raymond was our server once again, and as we’ve come to expect from this restaurant, the service was top notch! Raymond makes you feel like a family friend that you’ve known for years and always makes the experience special. Food was delicious both times, too! We look forward to returning soon - and to see our new friend Raymond! ☺️
My partner and I went to Delicious Steak House last night, we have been many times and every time is a fantastic experience! The steak is the best steak we’ve had and the service is always amazing. Last night we were served by Raymond for the first time and he gave us the best service either of us have ever had at any restaurant. We can’t wait to come back to see him again. 🙂
What an amazing place in every way!!! The moment we walked through the door, we were asked if we had reservations and we did not. We said we were told by friends that this place was amazing and I wanted to celebrate my husbands birthday. So she agreed to let us in. At the table we were served by our super star server Raymond. What an amazing guy!! He went above and beyond during our time there and even served an extra lobster tail for the birthday boy. Also our special compliments to the chef Alfred, the food is truly Delicious. Definitely recommend and we'll be back soon.
We had a fabulous meal last evening on the patio. Service was exceptionally good. Our server, Raymond, went out of his way to ensure we had a lovely evening. My steak was cooked perfectly and the spicy fries were amazing, best fries I have ever eaten.
