This place makes the best chicken korma I have ever had. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. A great addition to Manor Park!
Always friendly staff and most importantly superb tasting food!
I was there to pick up the wrap and soup combo for lunch and chose the chicken tikka wrap & vegetable soup. They were both delicious and I'll be back!

We really enjoyed the food and the owners are really nice. Welcome to the neighbourhood!
Butter chicken and curry, super great value on lunch!
This was our first time here and we loved it. We started with the "Appetizer Platter for Two", a mixed plate of samosa, onion bhaiji, pakura, shish kabob and chicken tikka, served with salad and tamarind sauce and a mint dip. What a great thing to share for two people. Our main was the Chicken Jalfraji (medium spice) and it was one of the best dishes we've tried, unique in flavour - definitely not the same-old-same-old. The service was really great too. Quiet the gem.
We have been ordering from here since it has opened on a regular basis. We love the vegetable korma as well as the butter chicken. Aromatic, balanced and fresh. I am unsure why the average is 2.9 since all the reviews seem to be 4 and up? Unfortunate as the rating should be a hard five. A plus, the staff is wonderful.
Just finished eating. My wife is Indian and we have been married for 39 years, so this is not my first time at the rodeo. We both found our meal very well prepared and very good value for the price. We had the Rogan Josh, with chicken and Tarka Dal and both were very tasty. For most dishes you get a choice of heat. The service was friendly. The servings were generous. The place looks dumpy from the outside, but is pleasant inside, with late-day sun coming in the front windows. Will definitely come back.
This is my favourite place for butter chicken. The staff is also very very caring and I was very happy to know they have opened a new location in the eastern area! When I feel like butter chicken or chicken korma, this is where I go!
Unassuming little restaurant with a superior level of Indian cuisine. The lamb was superb and the rice and naan was extraordinarily good. Be back soon. Chef worked for 30 years for embassies and brings superior skills.
We've been here twice in the past couple of months and will definitely go again. Excellent food, helpful service, reasonable price, attractive decor, and quiet. Just what we are looking for.
We just had a take-out from this location. Yammy Butter chicken, love their Chicken Dansak and Naan bread. Great food and service.....................
I went to Mia’s new location which is in 327-St Laurent Blvd with my friend. It was a small place with a nice décor inside. We found the new location has nice patio as well and we decided to sit on the patio. We ordered vegetarian platter for two which comes in two pieces of Samosa, Onion Bhaji and Cauli flower Pakura as an appetizer. It was very nice and fresh. I like their samosa very much. In the main dish, I ordered Lamb Dupiaza and my friend ordered a vegetable dish called Vegetabe Samber. Our main dished served with plain rice and we ordered a Garlic Naan separately. My lamb Dupiaza was awesome, with the cubed onions on the top. It was perfectly spiced as I ordered. My friend also liked her vegetable Sumber which was medium hot. The Garlic naan was also delicious. We found the service was quick and very friendly although they were busy on that time we arrived.
We really enjoyed our dinner at Mia’s at St-Lauerent. We recommend others to try this new place out.
Came here for the first time on a snowy evening a few nights ago.
The food was amazing! It was 10/10 for sure. The best Indian food I have tried in Ottawa so far.
As we were leaving, one of the employees ran outside in the snow to bring back a purse that we had accidentally forgotten. That was so nice of them.
I am looking forward to next time for sure. This is my new favorite place for Indian food.
I’ve been ordering from Mia’s often during this pandemic, and the food is always great. The food is well prepared and packaged. The portions are quite generous.
My boyfriend and I finally decided to visit the physical restaurant for the first time today, and we were very satisfied with our experience. The staff were courteous and friendly. We felt very safe the whole time especially because staff tried to maintain physical distancing whenever possible. Tables were clean and well spaced apart on the patio.
We ordered the tandoori chicken and chicken korma. The tandoori chicken came sizzling hot. The chicken legs were well marinated, juicy, and tender. It also came with a mint sauce, salad, vegetables, and rice. The vegetables were really nice. It included a medley of potatoes, carrots, green peppers, peas, beans, and cabbage. The chicken korma had a pleasant aroma of coconut.
Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Thank you, Mia’s, for a great first date at a restaurant since this pandemic began.
Discovered this restaurant 5 months ago and went back again today! VERY tasty and delicious and authentic food , large portions, super nice staff. All meat is halal which is a huge plus:)
Excellent food! Great service! Reasonable prices. Nice patio..looking forward to going back. I would recommend people go there. Janice & Richard
Amazing taste of the food. I really like the quality of the food and their service. I am very happy to find a good restaurant where I can eat my favorite foods.

Mia's Indian Cuisine has proved to be excellent and caring in catering food for large group of people. We ordered about 80 packets of chicken biryiani from Mia's kitchen. Everyone appreciated the sumptuous chicken biryiani and the quantity as well. I strongly recommend Mia's Indian Cuisine-St Laurent without slightest hesitation.
