I have been looking for an excellent Persian restaurant in Ottawa for a while now. It has a pleasant atmosphere, and the interior decoration matches the theme. I was impressed with this place! Both the food and the service were excellent. If I could, I'd give it ten stars.

The server was even less Persian than me, but was friendly and competent. The takhte jamshid silverware was a very nice touch and something I haven't seen at other Persian restaurants. Décor was good, but it would be nice if the music being played was Persian (rather than Spanish). 4 stars only because the doogh isn't homemade and even worse, it came in a bottle labeled "ayran." Turkish rugs are no substitute for Persian carpets (there's a reason why Persian rugs are sold worldwide despite not being "double knotted") and ayran is absolutely no substitute for doogh.

The chicken grill also comes with free soup and bread. The chicken was very juicy and tender, rice wasn’t sticky together at all. A very good service was the bonus. Definitely recommended and will visit again :)

One of the best restaurants I've been to in Ottawa. Great atmosphere with great food and friendly staff. I went there with my family for a gathering and it was such a great experience for both me and them. Totally recommended if you want to experience something new or a great place to go and enjoy on weekends with family and friends.

Delicious food, generous portions, excellent service! The staff even brought out some very tasty extras (carrot soup and bread). The outdoor seating option was very much appreciated and the patio was nice. We will return.

My family and I came in on a Saturday night, they were pretty full, but the went out of the way to accomodate our family of 4. Waiter came with soup and bread, which was quite good, we all ordered an appetizer, I ordered the olives which were good, but lots, maybe too much, may have been better mixed with a platter of pickled vegetables for some variety, but my daughters calamari was excellent, and my husbands yogurt and cucumber dish was very tasty, my son got the smoked eggplant, which he really enjoyed, it wasn't to my taste, but wasn't bad. For the main dish my son ordered the beef, which he quite enjoyed, and my daughter and husband ordered the lamb, which was really good, I ordered the chicken stew and was dissapointed, the chicken was very dry, even the sauce could not moisten it up, but the rice was excellent and so was the salad, the dressing was perfect, flavourfull without being over bearing. Nice big platters of food for main dishes. I had Persian tea and baclava for dessert, it was good, my daughter had the lava cake and ice cream which she really enjoyed, and my son had the saffron ice cream which was really good, I would go back because the service was good and except for my chicken stew, the food was very good, I would just get the calamari and the lamb next time.

The food was awesome, tasty, cooked to perfection and to die for. The service was fast, efficient and very friendly. This will become one of our regular spots for great food. Perhaps a small serving of Khiar would have suited the beef very well.

The set up and atmosphere wasn't really inviting (i didn't like the open concept) .. but the most amazing food and our server made up fot it. Cooked to perfection and fast service. They don't sell alcohol. But you can bring your own wine. We'll be back many times im sure.

We had a party of 8 there last night, and everyone loved their dinners. Good portion sizes, perfectly cooked kebabs and I love the complimentary bread and soup. They're serving some alcohol now - it is limited, but you can bring your own wine. Will definitely be back!
