I love the appetizers here. My favourite is the stir fry clam with shrimp chips and any of their lotus root salads. They also have a amazing fried banana with coconut milk dessert.

My favourite "go-to" when it's cold outside and I'm feeling under the weather is a hot bowl of pho soup. Somerset street west is home to some of the best vietnamese pho restaurants, and last nights pick was Vietnam Palace, the prices and portions are great, and the flavour is on point (the wonderful healing powers of pho). We enjoyed every bite and slurp. I'm sure we would have enjoyed it even more, hot right out of the kitchen but we were pleasantly surprised that everything was still hot when it arrived. They have a good menu selection, something for everyone! This is a must try!! #supportlocal #ottawafoodiestalker

There are not enough stars I can give to this place. They are absolutely AMAZING. The flavours are so developed and rich, the quantity of food you get is enormous and they always have my order ready in the allotted time. They are a weekly go-to even during a blizzard!!

My mom and dad used to bring me here all the time when I was younger. My entire family loves Vietnam Palace, and all my friends that I’ve introduced to this place have fallen in love with it too. I have been going here since I was 5 years old, and I am still obsessed with the food! Their cuisine is authentic and absolutely delicious. The employees are so kind and welcoming. The restaurant itself is beautiful. This is by far my favourite Vietnamese restaurant in Ottawa.

Best Pho on Somerset and definitely top 3 in Ottawa. Can't beat the sit down service, speed and quality. I have no idea why the price is rated $$ when in reality it's very reasonably priced in today's world.

Ordered the small pho special and the fried Shrimp rolls.
Both were really good but the broth in the pho was SOOO good, definitely the star of the show. I reflexively added hoisin sauce to it and it wasn't necessary.
