Very good experience. I was here for lunch with some work friends. I ordered the Cobb salad, they ordered a brisket sandwich, big rig pizza and another pizza. The food was really delicious and the portions were generous. We were all impressed. The service was a bit slow (in terms of waiting to take our order, waiting to clear the plates, and waiting some more for the bills). The bathrooms were disgusting. The urinals stunk and there were flies around them. There was trash on the floors, dirty counters and floors.

Stopped in for a quick couple of brews (love the gold but tried the pilsner). Always friendly and quick. Friend had a burger and I had another beer! Bartenders were fast and personable. Will be back.

The Big Rig exceeded my expectations as a sports bar. The food selections are great and taste delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Cajun flavoured Jambalaya rice dish, paired really well with the light Radler.
Kids enjoyed the pizza with bottomless pops.
Service was outstanding, the waitress was attentive and friendly.

Came for the beer, tried a little food. Beers were ok, Milk Stout was good. Had the braised pork belly, was super salty. Fine enough experience.

The grill chicken sandwich was gold standard as well!
The wings were just fine but unfortunately, the Ribs and the onion rings weren’t anything to brag about! I believe they could do a better job.
The staff were really friendly and accommodating.
Would definitely visit again!

Meh $22 for nachos that had cheese on 8 of the nachos... disgusting service from the waitress who hosted us. I called before going and she told me they were known for their hot wings and when I got there she admitted that they weren't after I drove 30 km. Pretty scummy behavior.

We tried Big Rig today for lunch and had an amazing experience. I had the blue cheese burger with a big boot beer and it was fantastic! The side beans and French fries were also delicious. My partner also had a burger and beer and was super satisfied. Will definitely be back to try some more beers and other amazing dishes! Lots of variety and excellent service.

We went for breakfast last Sunday.
It wasn’t overly busy when we arrived.
We had to wait for a hostess to show up and seat us. Once seated we waited at least ten minutes for a server.
We placed our orders and waited a while for food and when it arrived we didn’t get what we were expecting.
We didn’t read the menu close enough and the server didn’t clarify there was a difference: we asked for French toast.. expecting the French toast with berries and cream cheese.. sort of a minor thing but the server didn’t clarify.
The food was ok at best but my boyfriend’s French toast tasted like onions �.
We didn’t complain or ask questions because we never saw our server again. Another server happened to stop at our table to offer us coffee and asked if we were enjoying our meal. She was lovely. I asked her about the order and she clarified the menu, got us more coffee and brought us our bill. Our first server walked past our table several more times and not once did she acknowledge us.
I don’t think we will go back .
We will stick to our usual Johnny Canucks. Again ... it wasn’t that busy and there were lots of staff so there was no excuse for the initial poor service.

I was there on Saturday night with friends. We arrived at all different times and our waitress was very attentive. I had the mac and cheese and it was excellent. My friend had the pizza and only ate half. She left before me and forgot her pizza, so I took it home and ate it the next day and it also was excellent. We had a baby with us and they had no problem getting a high chair for him. We were 8 and we stayed for a while and I never felt rushed and the waitress was great. Would always recommend to others.

Beer is good, but all of the food including Mac and Cheese were extremely salty and had very little flavor. I have been to the restaurant on Iris three times and the service has never been mediocre. Staff seems frazzled and distracted. They would be better off simplifying the menu with dishes that they can do well. Beer is the only savior with this restaurant.

This is my favorite restaurant by far. I think a good indicator of a quality establishment is how they deal when they mess up. We ordered pizza and onion rings to go on Sunday July 9th at the Iris location. They messed up my pizza and I happen to notice before we left. The server went to the kitchen to find out if they gave him the wrong pizza. The MOD Melissa came out and apologized and said they did make the pizza wrong. She asked if we wanted to wait while they re-make it. We waited and she offered us a gift card for the pizza. She was so great. The pizza was excellent as usual. They also have the garlic aioli back on the menu which makes me really happy (suck a great dipping sauce). I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food like always was excellent but what made it really special was our server. Her name is Sarah and she is the best server ever. Smart and attentive . She did a great job serving us. Thank you Sarah!! She really deserves a raise!!!!

Expensive food wise, noisy place, scratchy services, looks servers are not trained at all. We like the place for our love of Ottawa Senators. But won’t recommend it to anyone. All that investment...

First time in the restaurant and wasnt dissapointed. Worried they might not be able to acommodate a vegetarian eater and the server was great and recommended a delicious option...me...the non-vegetarian enjoyed a great beef burger and sample tray of beverages.

What a great place to watch the playoffs!! The best (bar none) pizza is served here and the beer is creative and delicious. I feel very comfortable dropping in, on my own, to catch the game. I've always had a great experience.

A big group of us (18) went for dinner on Tuesday to celebrate a birthday. We were very impressed with our server, Jenn. She was super attentive and took great care of us. Incredible service, good food and beer and a wonderful atmosphere! Thank you Jenn and thank you Big Rig for always making our dining experience enjoyable.

Was there on Saturday for lunch there were not more than 25 people there at 1 in the afternoon my husband and I were seated at a table. We waited almost 20 minutes before anyone knew we existed we waited at least 45 minutes for food that came to us that was cold that should have been hot. The place is poorly run, the staff there sit near the kitchen and gossip with each other I would not go back.

I have been at the Iris locations on several occasions and time of the day and it was always buzzing with a crowd...but this last Sunday; we basically had the place to ourselves!! With the Sens playing Boston! It was a very nice Sunday afternoon however... So, it wasn't hard to accommodate our party of 10. Service was good and drinks came fairly quickly, same for the food. Everyone was satisfied with their orders and our waitress was around to make sure we had what we needed to enjoy our food. Will be coming back again!

So difficult to give a proper review. If food only, a definite 5 plus..but in taking everything into count, drops to a 3. Service was mediocre at best and was not busy. Seated for awhile prior to service. Not much personality with staff. But I like food and it was great.

Big Rig is one of our 'go to' restaurants. Food is great, service is amazing and if u do go get the COCONUT CREAM PIE it is to die for - it is pricey but u get a huge piece and is worth every cent :)

I am always leary of Micro-breweries that try to pass off as restaurants. Big Rig Kitchen has quashed my apprehensiveness. In every such establishment like this( except BRK) the food is lower than mediocre and if you do not order any kind of alcohol or beer( even at lunch) the service becomes non-existant...except BRK!!!
