Had dinner here with a friend last September and had the best time. The food was delicious (The carpaccio and the halibut in particular were incredible) and the service was wonderful. They brought us a blanket when it got chilly, made us amazing cocktails, and our server (Carlos?) was a delight. Thanks for the great experience!

You get the quality of fine dining in the food, drink and service but can also enjoy the vibe of a quaint and family-owned restaurant. Consistently one of the best restaurants in Ottawa, NoNa can do it all - casual on Sundays, high-end (but still approachable) every other day of the week, and has adapted in some fun ways throughout the pandemic (mulled wine and warm brodo during fall patio season, yes please!).
Would have had my fifth visit there last weekend, but Centretown was unfortunately under siege by a mix of conspiracy theorists, bigots, anti-vaxxers, and generally unempathetic, selfish, and scared human beings who are lashing out in all the wrong ways.

Simply put, North & Navy is amazing. The ambiance, service, and food make it one of my favourite places in Ottawa. The incredible attention to detail makes this a dining experience you will not soon forget. I still dream of the short rib ravioli in the jus/whey sauce. It was so good that we ordered another serving for dessert!!

We just moved to Centretown a few months ago and we were lucky enough to actually move 2 min. walk away from North & Navy 😍 First experience there and it was incredible! Service, food, drinks and ambiance. Everything was perfect! We even had our own private "room". I highly recommend this, you won't regret it.

The food was amazing! We loved every bite... From the tasting items to the apps, to our main courses and desserts, there was nothing we didn't enjoy. The meatballs were on point, complimented by a light and delicious sauce; the egg yolk ravioli was a delight. We had the bison and risotto - savoury to the last forkful - and the quail and polenta - flavorful and not too heavy. Dessert consisted of tiramisu and a banana-nutella tart, accompanied by cups of espresso that rivalled my Nonno's brew. The staff were lovely... from the moment we walked in the door until we left. We will definitely be recommending North & Navy to all of our foodie friends, and returning to try more of the amazing offerings on the menu :)

Well, what can we say in words that would sum up what a great experience we had there! ? We had Charles look after us and he was amazing....you never felt rushed yet he seemed to know exactly when we needed something. Even the fellow pouring water seemed to appear exactly when someone was running low. I am training for a fitness event and when they found out, they offered to cook my meal to my directions. Who does that !?!?! Wow! The food? It was spectacular. We had our daughter and her boyfriend with us who are both chefs who worked for Gordon Ramsey and they loved everything! How's that for a stamp of approval? We never felt rushed, the food flavours exploded in our mouths. This is a place I will bring any people visiting us and we will become regulars. Bravo guys. Well done.

Loved the delicious food and the classy atmosphere. I dropped in early on a Saturday, visiting from out of town with no reservation, and the Maître d' was kind enough to find me a seat at the bar for a couple of hours. Spectacular food, attentive and courteous service. Just a perfect meal (ling cod, mmmm!) Highly recommended.

The best spot in Ottawa for people watching. Sexy, fun, cool & diverse. You'll forget about your phone and end up sipping Tom Collins mingling in the bar area after your meal. North & Navy was my second home after discovering the awesome vibe, staff and menu. I held a couple launch events there, lunch meetings, and several girls nights out. An instant classic!!

Fantastic evening at North and Navy! Outstanding dinner and exceptional service! From the moment we walked in we were captivated from the decor , to the dinnerware, to the delicious bite size appetizers , and incredible meal! Wine paring was spot on! My boyfriend and I went here on Thursday night. Everything we had was REALLY good. The seared eggplant with house yogurt was delicious as was the funghi pasta (with the irregular shaped pasta) that he and I shared. My boyfriend loves liver and onions and thought that the one he had here was one of the best! (I, however, don't like liver...) I opted for the trout. Perfectly crispy on a bed of root veg and Jerusalem artichoke puree. VERY good! Dessert was a hit too! Love Nutella and love Italian Meringue... Yum. Would love to visit again when I'm back in Ottawa!

Food was excellent, service was top notch, atmosphere was warm and classy and no attention to detail is lacking.
As all of our friends know: Nothing closes a meal like a great cup of coffee and we had the Best Cappuccino in Ottawa to conclude.
We challenge all of our “foodie” friends to treat themselves / I predict getting a reservation will become a challenge..
