Visited April 21 2022, around 6-7 pm (roughly) First time here. My partner brought me here to have a lil celebration. Thanks to him. I like the place, the ambiance. I can say the setting of the restaurant is organized. Food we ordered were very tasty, including the drinks and dessert. Mikhaela (if I spelled it right) was the one who served us that night. Covid has brought tough times to all of us and with short staff they are still doing their best to serve everyone. I went there with my family and enjoyed the food. Ambience is nice while some sections where closed for distancing. I always love their food and service. Will certainly keep coming back for more great food.

Ordered the coconut calamari ($15), wagyu beef meatloaf ($25) and sweet chili chicken bowl ($22). Everything was good but we found the sweet chili sauce too sweet. Highly recommend the calamari!

Pleasant, nice place, good staff, treated well. Not really any vegan options. Omnivore food declared good. Meh. After reading Milestone's response, I have this to add: we booked through open table. Explicitly stated that one diner was vegan. Nothing else was offered at the restaurant, at the time of our visit. This should not be so hard.

Picked up my food and went to pay with a gift card. The bartender kept me waiting for 10 minutes waiting for our change/left over balance. She then told me that the money covers the meal but they are not allowed to give change or a balance back to the customers. I would have to use it all or lose the rest of the balance. Pretty sure that's not legal and she just wanted a large tip. Not impressed with the payment process or the bar tenders attitude throughout. Food was good but small portions for what we paid. Would not recommend for take out or gift cards

Disappointed with my last visit. Food is usually pretty good but this time the steak was not cooked properly, bland, full of fat, and cold. The fries tasted good but were also cold. Took a solid 10-20 minutes to get drinks after ordering.

Wonderful service by all staff. The pan fried calamari entree was very tasty and tender. Steak and frites was equally delightful. Will return often.

Love the location. The food is good but a bit too fatty. The miso cod was extremely delicious though. The fries were super crispy. The seafood pasta was ok. Update: the best seafood salad i have ever had... That's why I am updating my review and giving you a 5 star review.... That salad alone is perfection...

Milestones Worst experience I've ever had when entering a restaurant. The woman at the front desk was very condescending and rude to me. We walked in after a nice afternoon at the movies, wanting to enjoy a nice dinner. When we asked if there was a table available, the only thing we were offered was in the bar. I could clearly see an empty table from where I was standing at the front counter. My wife prefers not to sit in the bar, due to the noise from tv's, etc. I asked about the table and she said it was reserved, which I understood. We were then offered a booth, when my wife is in a wheelchair, which the woman could clearly see, which really offended my wife. I said that we were leaving, and the front desk woman said that we should be more "flexible". I asked when the next table would be available and she said 90 minutes. At that point, we were in the process of walking out, and she offers me a free appetizer card. I was furious at this point, and left the restaurant, throwing the card in the garbage as we walked out. We have been to several other milestones locations before, and never had such terrible service. I hope ownership sees this review. We walked over to 3 brewers next door, and enjoyed a great dinner. Shame on you milestones, I'll never come back to this location again.

So-so. I always feel like it is a hit or miss with Milestones. Some of their dishes are must-trys, while others are a bore. Overall: Environment: Good Food: Hit or miss Service: Forgot to refill water.

A real surprise. We have gone to many Milestones in the past and have had subpar service and subpar food. The service was great and the food surpassed our expectations from previous occasions. The one thing that surprised us was how good the bread pudding was. The waiter told us it taste better warmed up slightly so if you do get it please ask the waiter to warm it up. It was a delight. The steak was good, seasoned well and cooked perfectly and our shrimp appetizer was tasty with a bit of heat in the sauce. Kanata will be the Milestones we always go to in the future.

Disgusted. Went there for my sisters birthday last night and was completely disgusted with the service we received. We had a bit of an issue and had the manager come over to our table. He was rude and clearly had no care in helping us. You could tell he was in a bad mood, and just walked away from us even before we could finish what were saying. We ended up leaving to go somewhere else. From past experiences, the food is over priced and the portions are small. I will be sure to tell everybody I know to never return to that location and maybe no milestones at all, unless of course you want to be treated like your garbage.

Went there Saturday night with friends and everything we had was great . Chorizo mozzarella balls we're delicious as we're the bruschetta and calamari . The waitress Laura was great and attentive. The mains we had the ahi tuna wraps that we're to die for , the baked tilapia was scrumptious as was the penne . Nice decor and would definitely go back .

Terrific. I had occasion to visit the Kanata Milestones last week and was very pleased. The servers made me feel both welcome and important to them! My meal was terrific and the whole dinner experience made my evening special. Thanks

Disappointing. Had a steak that wasn't cooked as asked, had no presentation, no veggies, nothing. French fries were FROZEN fries!! A rip off for $28.00!!!!

I've been here a few times now for lunch, brunch and just drinks. Service has always been friendly and prompt and the food delicious. I do think they are a bit overpriced but so is everything else in Kanata so...

Cold meal. A couple from out of town and ourselves visited Milestone's last Friday night. One of the meals (top sirloin & mashed potatoes) arrived cold at the table. It was sent back with apologies from the waitress. Arrived again at the table, still was cold. We left immediately afterward. Won't go near this restaurant again. The other meals were just so-so. If the kitchen can't get it right the second time, they shouldn't be in business, or fire the cook.

Had a great experience. Went on a Friday evening, wasn't too busy. Drinks were delicious. Food was excellent. I think we had the only male server in the whole restaurant, but he was wonderful. Would definitely return.

Overly priced. It was a wednesday night so not their busy time. Waitress was quick to take our drink and food order...great. But we had to ask another waitress about our drinks after 15 mins went by. Our waitress, finally shows up with 2 empty glasses, then a minute later with 2 mini crafts of the same wine...what we ordered. $11 for a 6 oz glass of pinot grigio - italy...really people. For food we ordered the appetizer share platter ($27). It came with 4 wings, 4 small pieces of flat bread, dip and chicken bites. Loved the dip and bites. They filled the platter with corn chips so it wouldn't look so empty. I know its kanata and not a shortage of money but there is lots of restaurants in the area so no sense going back to this place.

Me and a friend came in a few days ago and sat on the patio. Our server .. Don't remember the name but she has long black hair and glasses. Anyways she took our drink order which was fine but didn't come back to take our order until 40 mins later. We even left the building for 10 mins to say hi to a friend.. We had to tell a different server because ours was nowhere to be found. We could've just kept walking because she obviously didn't care. We even went through the front door and nobody cared. Once we came back we asked for the bill and didn't see her again for another 20 mins. For my first time at milestones the food was great but you should hire servers who actually know how to server.

Had a terrible experience, got charged more than order... Waitress didn't use my gift card and used it on my friends bill putting me out money and making a trip for me to the bank... Food was nothing special. I would never go back not impressed

By far the best Milestones restaurant I have visited. The decor is beautiful and the service was fantastic! I had the milestones trio and everything was excellent. Will be our new go-to spot in the Centrum.

A last second (mid-intersection) change of plans this morning brought us to the newly built and just opened Milestones in Kanata Centrum. We parked on the side and took a big breath as the front doors were opened to our messy faced toddlers by hostesses dressed better than me on my very best day. This might not end well, we thought. The smiling hostess looked over the seating plan to chose the best table for our family and then led the way over with an itty bitty high chair that sat right on the bench. This wasn't a booster seat, but looked like a wooden high chair with short legs! This is one thing I haven't seen before so my day was already more exciting. The restaurant was classy and we sunk into our seats a little lower when Toast girl started to make a fuss and the waitress came over while Toast boy started chewing on the wine menu. The waitress was incredibly welcoming to our less than classy group and joked around with the kids while she took our drink orders and gave each child
