This place is amazing!! They usually have a line up (on the weekends at least) because it is just that good. Every single time I go, I get great service, the portions are HUGE, and usually the owner/manager asks us how it was before we leave. For a breakfast/lunch place, this is where you want to be in the city!
What a great place to have breakfast. The portions are huge and the food quality amazing. They also have some pretty innovative stuff. The staff and owner are super friendly and the atmosphere is really cool. A must if you are in the Ottawa region.
Came at 0830 no line up. Staff were really friendly, personable, and funny. Great service! They left a pot of coffee for me on the table so I could drink as much as I want which is a good idea. The food was AMAZING, huge portions. The potatoes were really good and the toast is homemade. They should go the next step though and have homemade jam too, that goes perfectly with homemade toast.
The kids found this place in Westboro that was highly recommended by a quite a few people. On a Sunday morning at 10:30 we reach here and stare at the long line to go in. The restaurant is quite small and line up was long. Thought about going elsewhere but did not have the energy to find and drive elsewhere. A lady did come out with a tray of mini muffins for all the people in the lineup. The kids and wife loved the size and taste of the muffin-a nice gesture.
Took an hour to get in. The waiters and the owner were really good and the owner made the last part of the wait a bit more enjoyable. If you are two you have a better chance to get in quicker. Four is an hour and if you are more than 4 I would forget this place or go on a weekday.
Ordered a Campfire Breakfast, a Cinnamon Roll toast with eggs, a grilled cheese with home fries and a toast fries for the vegan. BTW, no vegan choices in weekend and the lunch menu which has an sandwich option that could be made vegan is not available on weekends.
The coffee was too weak for our taste, the orange juice freshly squeezed felt it came out of a Tropicana box. The large milk and juice are also not as large as they sound.
The food was out in a reasonable amount of time. The Campfire was amongst best my son has ever had. The eggs perfectly cooked. The Cinnamon Toast was a home made bun sliced in two and toasted with butter made it more flavourful and likeable. The Grilled Cheese had a couple of slices of cheese at best, but was good nevertheless. The home fries stole the show in my opinion, perfectly cooked potatoes with onions and green peppers. Just the way I like it.
The food good, but thinking if it was worth the wait. Perhaps there are some other brunch places around? Parking is a challenge as well.
Aftet two visits, it was time to recognize excellence in service and food. The first time, my breakfast partner did not even have to ask for her tea...they simply remembered her order. I see why she is a regular. I did not wait in line at 7h45 the first time, but was happy to wait in line when I arrived with my daughter at 9 am...yes, for the mini muffins brought to those waiting. If I waited 15 minutes, the paper and the muffins made up for it (sitting is overrated anyway). Both times, I enjoyed cinnamon raisin french toast and very good espresso (in square cups...I know; I've got to get out more). All over, a very satisfying breakfast, truly one of the best I have had in Ottawa.
Delicious meals prepared in an open kitchen restaurant with delicious vegetarian food options. Great music, nice staff, a variety of seating options, the hours of operation run from 7:30am to 3pm - a bit of line up to get it but it's totally worth it.
Very impressed! I visited this charming breakfast joint with 3 friends for a Saturday brunch. We got there around 10:00am and saw a huge line out the door! We decided to stay despite that and boy am I glad we did!
The owner brought us little muffins to snack on as we waited for our table. Very nice touch I must say!
When we sat down, I promptly order a coffee which came in a carafe and was nice and strong. As for our mains, I ordered the yogurt with 2 poached eggs and fruit. I was quite impressed with the portion and variety of fresh fruit.
My friends ordered respectively the banana pancakes, the eggs Benny, and the veggie omelette.
I was lucky enough to snag a few bites of each dish and got mad dish envy when I tasted the banana pancakes! Delectable!
As for the service, it was prompt and helpful. Our server was quite busy but we didn't feel neglected.
One thing I would mention is that the bathroom is not easily accessible and had rather tiny stalls that would make it difficult for individuals with mobility issues.
Overall, a solid choice in the Westboro area.
Came here on a Saturday morning and this place was packed! The decor of the place had a 'British' theme to it and quirky. We were in line for about 10 mins before we got a table.
We had the eggs Benedict and the 'something unique'. The eggs Benny were delicious, the hollandaise sauce was awesome. The something unique was a bit of a let down. The home made sausage patties were on the ok, while the potatoes were very salty.
The staff was pretty friendly and the atmosphere was great. I'd recommend this place.
The only downside to my visit to Baker Street was that there was a big line up to get in. Which actually speaks volumes about how amazing it is! Creative menu with large servings and sumptuous food... I'll be back again soon!
This place actually EXCEEDS it's reviews and ratings. Beyond fresh, fabulous flavours, exceptionally generous portions, pleasant and welcoming staff. Everyone at my table LOVED their breakfasts and we all ordered different plates: pancakes, French toast, omelette, ham & eggs, campfire eggs, and sausage & eggs. Congrats to the staff and management on a spectacular establishment- you all should be very PROUD!!!
First experience there today; Great food, great place, great service! No complaints! Big portions so you pay for what you get. Nice cozy little place. I went for brunch with a friend on a Friday, early afternoon.. No line ups but still busy. Love the vibe there :) I will be back.
Visited this place yesterday morning for breakfast and everyone ordered their baked omelets while I ordered the French toast.
I tried everyone's omelets and they were delicious but nothing beat the montrealer, super flavorful!
Unfortunate my French toast was a disappointment. I felt like it was way too dough tasting and it just wasn't over all impressive. But otherwise everything else was yummy and the service and atmosphere are great! Super friendly staff as well 😊
The food is decent...definitely does not live up to all the praise around it. Service was also mediocre and quite slow both of the times I've been there but not a huge deal. Overall a meh experience; it is worth trying though.
My boyfriend and I love a good breakfast and Baker Street did not disappoint! A little bit of a wait on a Sunday morning was totally worth it! I ordered the cinnamon raisin French toast... Ya, this was next level! They use their homemade cinnamon buns for bread. My boyfriend had the regular breakfast and it was delicious. Best hashbrowns we've both had, love the spice and peppers! It was served with a full farmer's sausage which was tasty and the fruit salad was tasty too! We will be back and anyone looking for a tasty breakfast should go too!! ($35 for 2 for breakfast)
Excellent food and every thing in your plate is fresh and cook the way you want. The ham is out of this world they gave you a good serving and same goes for the fruits in you plate the are fresh. Highly recommended we will definitely go back. Get up early because the place is small and very very busy.
very good. charcuterie was excellent . Ok for desert I had the cheese plate and again well presented. . Not often I give a high rating they deserve it and thank you for the excellent service.
The Baker Street Cafe without a doubt boasts one of the best brunches in Ottawa. The food and service are consistently impeccable, and the prices, reasonable. Though its popularity will likely ensure a wait for a table, the value of the experience and the fresh mini-muffins passed around as you wait make even the most impatient of patrons feel that the delay was worthwhile. A must-try in Westboro!
Usually I hate to wait specially when I am hungry but this restaurant is worth the wait. The food is absolutely delicious and imaginative. The service is very friendly. Their portions are very generous I have never been able to finish my plate.
Visited in a cold morning so waiting time was not pleasant but in the meantime waiters try their best to make you feel happy. Portions are very generous and food is really good. Not a luxury place but excellent choice for breakfast or brunch.
I went to this place today on my westboro day lol, and this restaurant was great! You get seated for sure and the food is amazing and plentiful! I got the fish and chips and it was light not heavy like most fish and chips. The tartar sauce and curry in it which made it taste delicious! Will definitely head back here, and staff was friendly!
Great little place with a lovely atmosphere. Food is amazing and come in big portions (a bit pricey but worth it as a treat!). The breakfast sausages are to die for. We usually show up around 8-9am because of the lineups.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and decent food.
I've been here for breakfast a couple times now and have tried the apple crepes and the smoked salmon eggs benedict. Would have enjoyed my breakfast more if the potatoes were cooked longer and were crisp but overall it was an enjoyable meal each time. Love the fresh fruit addition to the plate, would go again!
I have been here twice now both times for a late brunch. The food is decent but not amazing. Eggs are cooked correctly but the hash browns could do without the load of diced peppers and would have been so much better if they were cooked longer and made crispy. Also the English muffins for the Benedict need to be toasted further as it would really lift the taste of the meal. The fruit salad was a nice fresh addition to the plate.
Large portion sizes.
The service was really good here, very attentive and helpful.
Overall great value.
Would recommend
Enjoy!
Baker Street cafe, great layout, plenty of seating and I nice vibe inside. First impressions were excellent, greeted as soon as we entered, seated and offered drink options straight away. Very friendly staff, massive well prepared meals and beverages.
Went here on a recommendation for brunch. Food was deliciously made and fresh; loved it and will definitely go back. Only making it a 4.5, because of the delay in getting your food; comprehensible since they say they make their food to order.
Best breakfast in town. Great service, huge portions, extremely reasonable price, unreal food. Always fresh. There's a reason there's a line up out the door most mornings. The atmosphere is cute. Great charm.
Baker Street is breakfast heaven ! Great reputation for good reason: quality eats, reasonable prices, and fabulous service. Recently I enjoyed a cinnamon bun, scrambled eggs, and fresh fruit combo. The mix of flavours worked really well and I appreciated that they gave me a side of their homemade bruschetta for my eggs which wasn't part of my combo.
Probably my favourite brunch in Ottawa especially if I want generous portions. The menu is pretty unique and has a lot of variety. I love the toastes cinnamon bun and need to get it every time.
we when to the resto this morning for the first time at 10A.m. it was pack whit a line going 100 feet outside so the wait was All worth it the food was amazing we ask a both we where only two but ad two motorcycle helmet so the space was needed an it was no problem serve whit a smile I had the 1/2 ribe whit egg and dont forget the fruit my wife had the apple pancakes whit fruit it was so good and big plates we did not heat all day ! price was good considering what we had the only and it a little biff
was that the cafe is not included and it a 2.75 each addition to the bill but that's it the food is great and the service is also great we will be back...:))Yves and Martine
Positive:
Food: Excellent
Portion Size: Excellent
Service: Excellent
Atmosphere: Excellent
Negative:
Waiting Time: 1 Hour, but we could have left and didn't so it's ok.
Biggest turnoff making it that I most likely won't go back:
The tablecloths are NOT changed between customers! Very gross!! It means the next customer will eat on a tablecloths where the people before had their dirty napkins, dirty forks, hats, purses, snotty tissues. Gross. Just gross. They wipe off the crumbs, but that doesn't take away the germs.
Some tables have a glass on top of the tablecloths and those are cleaned which is fine. Otherwise, I really hope they change their policy and CHANGE the tablecloths between customers, or put a glass top on top of ALL the tablecloths in the restaurant if they are not going to change them. I am sure they would not like to sleep in the previous customer's dirty sheets in a hotel. This is not really that much different.
What an awesome breakfast/brunch place! There is apparently always a line, but they served us mini muffins while we waited which was so sweet. It's very casual, but the food is awesome. When they say "fresh fruit on the side", they really meal a pile of fresh fruit, which is so nice to offset mounds of eggs and bacon. Love the fresh squeezed orange juice too! A real gem.
Third time's the charm. After attempting twice to come here but not wanting to wait in line I finally accomplished coming when the line was short! Baker Street is a really cool place with lots of old school photos displayed around. When we were seated we were helped right away and got our food very quickly. I ordered the 'Eggs Benedict' and it was awesome! Very good portion sizes and lots of fresh fruit on the plate. I will be returning soon! :)
Honestly one of Ottawas best. But the wait makes me go else where most weekends. Amazing menu, big portions. Lots of fresh ingredients and fruits on your plate. The cinnamon buns are out of this world. Giant bun split in half.. Finished in butter on the griddle. It makes me wait in line once in a while.
On the whole, I like this place primarily because the food is good, and the owner is incredibly good to his customers.
This place is pretty pricey, but everything is made fresh to order with great quality ingredients. They are also one of the only places that will give me extra fresh fruit instead of potatoes, which is much appreciated. The portions are very reasonable as well, so while it is more expensive than many breakfast places, I certainly don't feel like I am being gouged.
The wait is the biggest drawback in my opinion. On weekends, the line is almost always outside. The bigger issue is I have seen multiple times, when we get inside, we are told it will be another "5-10 minute wait", and when I look around, I see 3-4 empty tables. I find that frustrating. However, the owner usually comes out with chocolate chip muffins for the people waiting in line. I don't eat chocolate, but the sentiment & customer appreciation is nice.
Again on the topic of the owner. One time he came around after our meal and asked how everything was. We said fine, but I commented my pancakes were cold when I got them. I didn't expect anything but a "Oh, we could have fixed that had you mentioned it earlier", and it was definitely my own fault for not doing so. He came back with a gift card to apologize. Another time our server dropped the top slice of a monte-cristo sandwich we had ordered. They apologized profusely, and brought a replacement piece of french toast ASAP, and after the meal, the owner came by with another gift card as an apology.
The customer service is top notch, and that combined with the quality, is why I will keep going back there.
Generous portions, delicious food, excellent service! Only down side is the long wait for a table on the weekends. Is it worth the wait? I'll say this- it's frustrating waiting in line but then you get in there, sit down, start eating and completely forget about it! Another bonus is the food samples they pass out while you're in line. I took my parents here for brunch and we were a larger group, somehow my husbands order was missed... It took another 10 mins to get his food and we got several apologies for the mix up. In the end, the owner came by with a $20 gift certificate for the inconvenience. Service is top notch in my opinion.
Worth the line-up people, I promise! First visit here and it certainly won't be my last. The service is excellent and the food is even better. While we were waiting in line, the owner himself came out with freshly baked mini muffins and the day I went wasn't too bad because we were surrounded by Westfest. We were even seated by the owner himself! As we sat and ate we could see him walking around filling coffee cups, chatting and taking photos for and with people. This place truly nailed what Ottawa and community is all about. The menu is extensive but on Sundays only brunch/breakfast is served. I wanted to try everything but ended up trying the "Something Different" - this is a dragon sized portion of fruit, salad, homemade style hashbrowns, toast and a lamb and beef tourtière infused with cloves and spices! I can't explain how delicious this was. My friends tried the "Something Innovative" which is served with everything similar except with a half rack of ribs. The bread is so four pieces a person and so much we couldn't finish our plates. I would say one plate is sharable if you don't have a large appetite. Even though there's a lineup, there was no rushing us out the door. I swear we spent almost three hours in here because it was really cozy and comfortable. Coffee is plentiful and the atmosphere is fun, I can't wait to go back!
This restaurant is awesome! There is usually a line up, but it's worth the wait (especially when the owner brings a fresh baked plate of mini muffins to the people waiting). The food is always fresh and delicious - probably the best breakfast joint in town. The servers are friendly and attentive, and the interior is very hip and rock n' roll. I will definitely be returning!
Fantastic Service, Good Food, Kinda Pricey, Gross Potatoes. Service:
They forgot a pancake order and worked super hard to get it to our table. Every server checked on us to make sure.
Vibe:
I liked the mix of tables and couches. Cozy since they pack people in which is always a good sign.
Food:
Kind of pricey but it was good. Fruit was fresh though the melons were pretty cold (refrigerated to the max.) Crepe was good.
But potatoes for breakfast? Why do some breakfast places do this? So gross - give me a deep fried cubes of hash browns over mildly fried cut up potatoes mixed with onions. So gross.
First visit here. Fantastic. Great service, fantastic breakfast w decent portions. The fruit side is especially good: fresh, lots of variety. There's a good reason why ppl are lined up outside the door.
I went to there with my boyfriend around 11 and wait for 15 mins. The place is crowded and packed. The food came very fast and very nice:))) I would like to say it is a best brunch in town!
Never a full moment at Baker Street. The lineup is long for a reason. You wait for the quality ingredients used to create the masterpieces of breakfast. The portions are amazing, and I highly appreciate the fact that their milk and cream is natrel. The little things do matter. Oh, and those mini muffins are to die for. Thank you for being such an amazing restaurant.
Worth the (inevitable) wait. There's a reason Baker Street always has a line up out the door, the food is simply delicious. The atmosphere isn't my favourite, it's a little crammed and noisy, yet I keep going back for the eggs benedict, fresh fruit and home fries. Somehow they manage to perfect every part of that meal. The eggs benedict is always on-point (Montreal smoked meat is slightly better than the original IMO), the fruit is some of the best/freshest I've ever had and the home fries with onions and spices are like home-cookin'. This is making me hungry just writing about it!
Good, filling breakfast. Pros: large portion sizes, great value, friendly staff, gluten free friendly, free macaroon appetizer while waiting, good menu selection
Cons: long wait shortly after opening
All in all a great breakfast, we'll definitely revisit!
Delicious! best breakfast potatoes in town! I love the option of rye breads. Great service. You can tell the owner really puts his heart into the business which makes the experience that much more enjoyable. Wish they were open longer!
Delicious!. Prompt and friendly service. Food was delicious, large portions. Bottomless coffee :)
Good food, the line ups annoying. The food is good and I still enjoy going here over and over. I wish they would add a heat lamp outside in the winter as waiting for brunch in the cold is unpleasant.
One of my favourite brunch places. Fresh baked bread, awesome pancakes, extra large cinnamon roles and free mini muffins while you wait in line! Need I say more?!?
Best brunch in Ottawa!. The brunch here is absolutely amazing! The portions are enormous, the food is delicious, the menu is big, it's my favourite brunch place in all Ottawa!!!
Best breakfast in town. Breakfast is amazing here, big portions and very tasty. Line ups can be long so be ready.
Memorable Saturday breakfast - check!. I am visiting Ottawa and my good friends took me to Baker Street Cafe. My first clue that I was in for a memorable dining experience was the line-up outside, the second clue was when one of the staff came outside to let everyone know it wouldn't be a long wait and that the owner, George, would be outside shortly with freshly baked treats to sample. True enough, George came out with yummy muffins and chatted with everyone in line - customer service that is rarely seen these days and much appreciated by this diner. The great service continued inside with our excellent server, Alan, who was solicitous and paid attention to every detail. The food was wonderful, plentiful and fresh and the cinnamon buns were an extra special treat - you'll need a big appetite to have breakfast and a cinnamon bun but the good thing is the bun is portable! I enjoyed the food and the excellent service and I'd like to compliment George on creating a really great vibe in the place with the decor, the music and the personal attention - he visited every guest both inside and outside the place to ensure everything was OK. Really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant.
A bite of Heaven.... When it comes to eating out my philosophy is that I am paying for the convenience of having someone else cook an "amazing meal" that is like nothing we cook at home and is reasonably priced. Not many place strike a balance like this place. Food is amazing... let me repeat "AMAZING". This place is the kind of place that should be featured on the Food Network as top 10 restaurants in the country. The service is stellar and the portions are ridiculously large (so sharing is not a bad idea). Too many place now a days have extremely bland food but this place has food with explosive flavors. You will not regret. Best restaurant in Ottawa in my book!
Super heavy fare but worth the often long wait. Baker Street Cafe is a small breakfast/lunch only place in Westboro village. It's a popular spot so if you choose to go, you may have a 30+ minute wait, often outside and they don't take reservations. The first sign of their great service however, is that the owner will often come around the line with a plate of complimentary mini muffins as a thank you for waiting. Overall, the wait staff do a fantastic job. Since everything is cooked to order and they do have a small staff for an often packed place, expect to be there a while.
The menu contains a lot of traditional breakfast and lunch staples but many of them have twists that make them unique. It's all very good but this is not the place to go if you're on a diet. The portions are huge, calorie-packed and if you eat breakfast here, you probably won't need anything else until dinner, at least. Still, you'll have an incredible meal here and everything feels lovingly prepared.
We go to Baker Street Cafe as a treat occasionally as it's just not something you can do on a regular basis. But I think it's that kind of place. Highly recommended!
So if u can stand ALOT of good food in the morning. Let me direct you to this establishment! The servings are huge. In fact, the cinnamon buns and the muffins and well.. everything is BIG! But by no means is it compensating.. the quality is high. I had an oven baked Italian omelette. it came with potatoes, home made brown bread and fruit salad. (next time I will ask they put that aside) Service is friendly, but get here early. There's a lineup at 815!
FOOD - 8/10
SERVICE - 8-10
Price - reasonable considering portion size.
Overall - 8/10
Food was good service so-so. Coffee cost a fortune but over all the experience was favorable. they load up your plate with a lot of fruit.
Lived up to the hype! It was a Sunday so there was a line as promised, but we were served complimentary mini muffins in line! Evetyone in line was talking about the cinnamon buns so I had one and it was delicious with just the right amount of sweet. The fruit was above and beyond what you normally receive and the bacon and homefries were perfect!! Even the service was great without being pretentious or hovering. Will definitely be back!
I am not surprised by the high rating. I love this place. Expect an entire steaming hot carafe of coffee (or tea) great food, excellent classic rock wall posters, sensitive service and a home-baked cookie for dessert. My favorite place.
Went to this place on a whim on the weekend and was really surprised to see a lineup outside. The wait was around 40 minutes but it wasn't so bad since we were given mini muffins while waiting. When we got inside I was delighted to see the kind of retro diner atmosphere that the place had; the place had character.
I ordered a plate of green eggs and ham to satisfy the child in me while my friend got eggs and sausage with a side of pancakes. The food came out fast and it was delicious! The pancakes where nice and fluffy and the ham and eggs had a really nice cheese flavour. The fruit was also sweet and ripe. All in all it was a great meal and the staff was really nice despite how busy it was. Don't be dissuaded if there is a lineup because the food is definitely worth the wait!
Outstanding! This place is great - went this morning and as always (I've been 15+ times), the food was fresh and tasted wonderful. I had the regular breakfast ($8.75) which is pricier then the average place around town but in this case, you truly get what you pay for! The homemade bread was tasty, there was more eggs/potatoes/fruit than anybody should eat in a meal, and the sausage was amazing (and I never generally like breakfast sausage!). It's also worth mentioning that the service is typically pretty good here and today was no exception.
For anybody who hasn't been, just a heads up that there is always a line on the weekends, so be prepared to wait a few minutes...that being said, the wait is absolutely worth it! Highly recommended!
Absolutely fantastic! Price is higher than the average breakfast joint but you do get what you pay for and in this case quality and taste are delivered.
Wonderful atmosphere, friendly service with bottomless coffee, and fantastic food... sure it's crowded and busy, but having travelled the world, many of the best places to eat are just like that... 10/10
Amazing breakfast! Worth the wait on a Sunday morning, and the best for a hangover ;)
Great Food. Food was fresh and tasty! The service was attentive, and friendly. Ambiance was welcoming, and cozy. I'll be going back again!
Serving was huge and food was delish! The only thing working against this place is the long line ups to get in.
Simple & delicious. Everything was fresh and well prepared !! 10/10
P.S. Come early if you hate lineups...
Oh my God, good!. This is sincerely the very best place in Ottawa to get breakfast. Be sure you are ready to wait because this placd is loved by all. The omelettes are amazing and so too is the regular breakfast. It is on the pricey side for breakfast but it is worth it.
Super famous brunch spot in Ottawa. Not cheap but the portions are very generous and you might struggle to finish! Staff is friendly and the food tasted great. They also make their own bread if I’m not wrong! Definitely recommend to visit if you’re in Ottawa.
Portion sizes are generous. You'll eat brunch here and not need to eat the rest of the day basically.
Their fruit bowls are fragrant and fresh. Everything has that authentic, homemade look and taste.
The homemade sausage patties part of the Something Unique were spiced excellently.
The cinnamon rolls they serve were also delicious - crispy and soft at the same time. No need for icing.
To top it off, the service was very friendly and welcoming. Charming place to start your day off at, or visit soon after starting your day.
In my experience, it was difficult to find brunch places that serve delicious breakfast with highly satisfactory portion size at a nominal price, atleast in Montreal. Baker Street is one such place that tops my list of most preferred eateries that meets the above criteria. Friendly customer service with good audio playlist is a plus too. It's after three years that I left an eatery with such high level of satisfaction due to my appetite and craving taste buds. The food was worth every penny! Thanks and good luck to the whole team.
Generous portions, delicious meal and good bottomless coffee. The only con: the wait to get in! We waited about 30min outside in line for a table at 11am on a Tuesday. We were not expecting that, but well worth the wait! I'd return there any day!
Ordered the cinnamon raise French toast with side sausage. The sausage tasted home made and was the size of a dinner sausage! Overwhelmed by the amount of fresh fruit we received as well, completely unexpected.
Ordered french toast with fruits, scrambled eggs bruschetta and grilled cheese sandwich. The quality and quantity were amazing, had to use the take out boxes even though the food was delicious.
Really generous portions, food tasted amazing, and topped with friendly waiters. I suggest coming in early to avoid lining up.
I have to say that this is the best brunch I have ever had in my life. Great ambience, very cozy and warm. They serve you an entire jar of coffee, not like usual brunch place. I was so happy that their sausage was not regular morning sausages. It was the best! Also ham was pretty amazing too. My bf ordered their make your own wrap thing, it was the best wrap I’ve ever had... We had to wait for a Monday noon, but it was worth it. In fact, it’s worth the 2 hours drive from Montreal to this place lol. It’s a bit pricey compared to other chains but it’s THE BEST!
Theres usually a wait on weekends, but that's because the diner is small, and everything is cooked fresh! This diner is absolutely worth the wait if you go early morning/ on the weekend- but the food and service you get is outstanding.
And if you so happen to find yourself waiting in line, the head chef/ owner will come out and make sure everyone is alright, and even bring you fresh baked goods.
This place holds a very special place in my heart, and we will continue to come for years onward!
This gem is absolutely worth visiting over any other breakfast place in Ottawa!
Can't wait to go back
