I love Stella Luna! Not only do they have the best gelato around, their coffee is amazing. I also highly recommend the waffle with Nutella and bananas- perfection with a small side of the gelato. The rich chocolate gelato with cinnamon and chilies is my all-time favourite.
Love Love LOVE Stella Luna. My family is from out of town and I make every effort to bring them all here. I love their Gelato. I've never had anything like it before. So tasty and delicious. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I enjoy a cup of Chai Latte every now and then with a treat. I love how they have water available to customers. It's just a cozy friendly atmosphere. great staff too. I go often to catch up with friends and spoil myself.
Would love to see how it's made!

Just walked into the new shop in Merrickville and was in awe of how beautiful it was! The owner and customer service completely exceeded my expectations! Will definitely check out the other locations in Ottawa �
We can't get enough of this place!! My family always makes excuses to go there and it is always our first choice for dessert. The pistachio gelato is the best I've had in my life!! Mmm now I want it just typing this!!
I buy only Stella Luna gelato as it is the best quality in Ottawa!
Unfortunately, I am very disappointed and concerned about the styrofoam packaging for takeout. From an environmental perspective, I highly recommend that you consider other options instead of styrofoam which never breaks down in the garbage. A recyclable paper container or a reusable plastic container with your logo would be a better ecological choice.
It is quite a disconnect to have such a fresh pure product in styrofoam!

I love your (new?) Hintonburg location with its cheery colours and decor. Also, the staff I encountered yesterday were great. Just so you know, your Ferrero Rocher gelato is so amazing that it has ruined my experience with other flavours. Others simply cannot compare!
The gelato place is amazing. Was worth the 2 1/2 hr drive!
Love this café the food is great (try the crepe with wild berries compote) the gelato superb (pistachio gelato) and the staff very pleasant! The best.

I’m going to give Stella Luna 5 stars ... I come here often. The gelato is out of this world delicious. I will also add that the lattes are amazing here. However once and a while, especially tonight on our visit, I found the staff very rude and lazy. A couple of them were helpful but both me and my friend wanted a cup cake after our gelato and we noticed they were no longer on the shelves, 2 girls that were more interested in talking to each other told me they were out of that stuff ... 2 min later a girl came out with a plate with cupcakes on it, I asked if I could purchase one and she said I could. Then my friend came up 5 min later and asked for a cupcake and a man told her they were all out. Then she pointed to me and said, you sold her one. Then he sheepishly got one out for her. I’m sorry, but if I was the owner I’d be livid if I knew this is how the staff carried on because 45 min before closing the staff don’t want to be bothered selling cupcakes when they have them available to sell. Also the attitude from a few of the girls tonight was a little much.
this is one of my favourite gelato places in the world - including Italy!
They are amazing at everything they do: espresso, coffee, gelato, panini, cakes...
I would live there if I could. Beautiful people and amazing service.

Super great exciting place! I'm glad we were able to have samples/taste! Went here with my mother and her friend and it was amazing! Definitely try the Ferrero Roche ice cream! Taste EXACTLY like it!

I rarely give 5 stars, however, it’s very difficult to rate gelato. Thinking back, I can’t think of what more could be done giving the extreme cold operating temperatures effect on taste.
Even with my mouth frozen worst than a root canal I was able to distinguish between the mango, coconut pineapple and chocolate flavours.
Take my 5 stars …but a little bit less money please…a bit on the expensive side, is it worth it ? Well, I don’t think I can make it at home…
Nice staff and delicious ice cream. They offer three cup sizes for ice cream and you can have three flavors in the small one.
If you're an ice cream or gelato lover, you have to try this cafe when you pass by. It's hard to see how much more you can improve on the flavours and quality of the gelato, though I'll admit the prices of around $7 are at the absolute limit of being reasonable. Regardless, visit this when you need a fantastic treat.
Their pregnancy gelato help giving birth didn't work for me but their wine was pretty good

Best pistachio gelato in town! Stella Luna nailed their gelato game, and this is a must visit place if you're interested in a treat. Not inexpensive though, $7.90 for a small gelato, $9.50 for medium.. worth it!
