Best Souvlaki in town. Period!... is what I would say if I didn't have to write 140 characters. I tried the 2nd best place (Greek Souvlaki Shack) and while it was good, it didn't compare to Cozmos. I make the drive from Orleans to Nepean about once a month because it's that good.

Best Greek food I've had. Everything we ordered was seasoned perfectly, even down to the potatoes. Pork and lamb were tender and cooked well without being dry, which I find a lot of souvlaki places do in contrast. Very friendly and quick service, and they were also super accommodating to my partner's food allergies. Seating area was quaint but not crowded. Definitely recommend!

Christina Aguilera. The souvlaki is clean, the rice is clean, the salad is clean, the tzatziki is clean and that's what I love about Greek food. BUT...the taters are diiirrrtttyy, OH man, like squish with a fork and watch all the oil ooze everywhere. These double-fried dirt wedges will catastrophically knock you into a grease induced catatonic state. I was hoping for those large yellow roasted potato cubes, those are clean. ANYWAY, just a heads up.

Deserves every positive review. Our first time going, we walked in a group of 5 not realizing how limited the seating was. It turns out almost all the tables were set up for couples. As we were ordering, the owner noticed we were together. What a nice guy! Without us asking, he had someone combine two tables and offered to have our food delivered at the same time. We were blown away by the friendliness and service.
Two of us got the 3 meat gyro with a salad, and the rest got chicken platters. It only took a few minutes for the food to arrive. The rice was pretty good, but the salad, potatoes, bread, and meats were extremely delicious.
You really get a lot of food for the price, but it was too good to waste. We boxed up the leftovers got had it for lunch the next day.
I can't wait to go back and have another 3 meat gyro!

FAVORITE PLACE LOVE IT!!!!. Went on a recomendation from a friend. It was unreal!!! If I've had better Gyro on a pita I don't remember when WOW!! I got a huge delicious one with a really good Greek salad with alot of fresh ingredients. It came with 5 olives (not canned I hate that),lots of feta and great dressing.I am now a regular customer!!!!!!!! Came with a drink for only $8,what a bargain. Can't beat this place. Some of the best food around. Not just the best Greek food around but some of the best in general. Especially for the price and portion size. We order Cozmos probably once a week or more sometimes because it's just so good, so fast, and SUCH good value. Personally, the salad is my favorite part, but the spanikopita platter is what I usually order. Always fantastic. My boyfriend will order just a sandwich and we share all of the platter stuff because it's just so much food. We usually have leftovers anyways. The calamari is also delicious and I love that it comes with a nice cold wedge of fresh lemon. Perfect. I also hear the sandwiches are amazing though I have never had one. My whole family raves about them. Love love love Cozmos. It was my aunt that turn our family on to Cozmos and since then I have introduced it to several friends, all of whom order it on nearly a weekly basis as well. They say reputation is a business's bread and butter and they have a great reputation for a reason.

Great Greek, Fast. Cozmos is the only Greek place we order from since discovering it a couple of years ago. The platters are large, the meat is tender, the pitas are fluffy (not those thin dried-out ones you sometimes get) and the salad comes separately and is fresh. No more soggy, warm lettuce for you! The service is friendly and fast and the prices are fair.

Having visited Greece this past September, I've had a hard time finding anything similar to what we ate there. Until we went to Cozmos. By far the best Greek food you'll find in Ottawa. Prices are excellent and the portions are perfect. Taste wise, the only difference between the food here and back in Mykonos, was that there is lettuce in the salad here. You can't get any more authentic than Cozmos. As a bonus, the people are friendly and welcoming. The building might not look so nice, and the location is a bit out of the way, but this place was incredible, and I'll definitely be back.

Good stuff!. I get half an hour for lunch but I still have time to jump in the car, head down to Cosmos and grad a quick lunch. Not only is the food fabulous, but the service is fast, friendly and efficient. They know how to move the food and not suffer with the quality.

This is a real find. Great food, incredible prices, super friendly service.
The beef/lamb "gyro" is good - but it's not a true gyro... No fries, so by definition, it's more just a gyro-like pita. The chicken souvlaki platter is massive - potatoe wedges, rice, Greek salad, and pitas. The chicken skewer is smaller, but not overwhelming in spices. The tzatziki is really good too - creamy but not massive cucumber taste. Overall, one of the better Greek food locations in Ottawa. It's very clean and prices are extremely good - the only time I remember managing to get a good-tasting gyro pita for around the same price was in Greece!
Thursday is Greek night. And we ALWAYS go to Cozmos. The best part about his place is if you are a repeat customer, Tony and the boys remember you. No matter how busy they are, you are out of there 5 minutes after you place your order. The food is ALWAYS fresh, the portions are ALWAYS generous. Our favorite is the pitas, and the salad with chicken and hot peppers.
Most important, is that they are ALWAYS happy to see you, and appreciate your business.

Words cannot describe how much I loved EVERYTHING about Cosmos. The service was amazing! The people are so down to earth. And don't get me started on the food! It was so good I just died and came back and died again cause it was good. I have so much leftovers cause the portions are HUGE. Its not a sit down resturant but you can sit down if you would like. Great Food - Outstanding Value!. Wow - I did not expect the food and price from this little whole-in-the-wall kind of place. Let's be honest, the outside building is lacking...and if it was not for my curiousity, I would never have ventured in - BUT boy am I glad I did.

Absolutely Amazing!!. I LOVE this place and cannot recommend it highly enough. The food is absolutely delicious and only fresh ingredients are used. I honestly couldn't get over how crisp and green the lettuce was, or how plump and red the tomatoes were. The portions are very generous, as Greek fare should be, and the price is beyond reasonable. The authentic Greek gyros are without a doubt, the Best ever, the Greek salad is to die for, and the tzatiki sauce is borderline addictive. This little place is so clean and bright and the service is extremely fast. What more could you ask for? I'll tell you....the service is amazing. When you walk into this little family run business, they act like they've been waiting just for you. So friendly; so nice. You can tell that they're happy; happy to see you, happy to serve you and just plain happy to be doing what they're doing. How rare is that in the service industry today? 5+ stars from me & mine.

Finally good value Greek food in Ottawa. In my experience Greek food is about portions. Prior to Ottawa I had never left a Greek resto without leftovers. Some meat and salad and then hit me with the potatoes and rice. Its cheap and filling and everyone wins.
But my Ottawa experience was not good. Small portions are not consistent with my vision of Greek food.
But Cozmos gets it done! $14 for 2 skewers and ALOT of potatoes, rice and salad. Tzadziki and pita INCLUDED (what up with some places charging extra for this?)!
Now me and my date ate in and her exact words were "Im glad I didnt dress up" so its not fine dining, but the food and the value is great! I wish I was in the delivery zone.
Awesome Greek place for a low price!!!. The service is very good. The owner gives free entrees away to his loyal customers. The atmosphere is pretty good. There is some Greek music playing which contributes to a good atmosphere. The price isn't bad, but some of the items are overpriced such as the entrees (fries, salad) and the souvlaki. The menu has a decent selection of food ranging from different types of meat such as chicken,beef or lamb to different entrees. The food is good depending on who cooks it. The chicken gyro is tasty and the tzatziki sauce as well. The salad isn't very good and the portion is very small for the price asked. The potato wedges could be better. Recommend this to someone who likes Greek and lives close to the Greenbank area.

Great. After reading the reviews, I decided to orderfrom this place, not realizing I was way outside their delivery zone. They made an exception for us and the result was one of the best delivered meals I've had in Ottawa. The food was delicious, the portions very generous and the price was very reasonable.

Love it!!!. My teenage boys would eat there every day!!!! The three meat meal is the best value in town and the ingredients are all so fresh and delicious! The people are all friendly and we will be regular customers!!! My sons even walk over after school for a "snack"!

I can't stress enough how awesome these guys are. The food is 10/10, the price is great, service 20/10. They know my order, I ordered the wrong drink and they knew it so they sent me the right one. Extremely thoughtful, had an issue one time and they were quick to make it up. No complaints at all.
Few restaurants maintain the standard of business found at Cosmos. Incredible food, stellar service, and genuine appreciation of your patronage. It is an experience worth waiting for, but the speed of staff keeps customers entranced with their assembly line and the fresh aromas of spices with lamb, beef, and chicken. This place is a really good value for quick food in general. Souvlaki never disappoints, their take on Greek potatoes is absolutely delicious. Service here is ALWAYS fast and friendly. I've ordered here over 20 times in the past 2.5 years.
