My wife and i have been to baxters several times since its opened, it has become our favorite restaurent. Since our first visit i have made a point of trying everything on the menue, and i have to say i cant decide which meal i like the most! I will say after returning from jamaica for our wedding i had the paiaya, and i can honestly say it was better than the paiaya made by the locals in jamaica, ehich i thought would be impossible to top.The calimari was unreal!! My hat is off to the chef! Every meal has been superb! As amazing as the food is, its the drinks that keep us coming back. The sangria is out of this world! The beer is delicious( i've tried almost all the specials). The manager i have met was very pleasent to talk to very polite. Atmosphere is great! The bathrooms are very clean. My only constructive criticism would be that sometimes the service could be better. Not to say that the staff are unpleasent or rude, because it is quite the opposite as we have not had a server we thought wasnt friendly or nice, its just we have experienced service being a little slower than one would hope. We of course overlooked the slight hiccup as everything else is on point! We wish we could come more often as it can be a little pricy but we recomend this restaurent to family friends and strangers looking for a quality meal.

Just ate at Baxter’s Landing for the first time. Was very impressed. Right from the hostess to the cookie that came with our bill.
The hostess made suggestions of some of her favourites as it was our first time. Our waitress, Deanna, was very pleasant and gave us great service.
The manager stopped by to make sure we were pleased with our food. My husband had the chicken pot pie, comes with a Landing salad. Great flavour in the pie. I had a Landing salad, recommended by the hostess, and the chicken chimachurra pizza...not sure I have that correct.
Great food and great service
The hostess even saw us looking at the wines and told us 1/2 price bottles on Thursdays. A good reason to return and try a different menu dish.

Had dinner at Braxters Landing , The hostess was friendly and seated me to my table promptly. The waitress was very friendly , took order . The food came quickly and was very good. The waitress checked to see if I enjoyed it which I find is very important and asked if I would like anything else.
Even the manager asked me how I was enjoying my meal.
I was very impressed at the service and quality of the meal being served.
I will definitely go again and tell my friends about this restaurant.
It was our first visit and will defiantly not be out last. Our server ( Graham )was professional, friendly and without asking made sure we had everything we needed and more and was knowledgeable and passionate about the menu and food we were served. Everything was fresh and delicious �. Excited to try other menu items in the future.
Been to Baxters a few times now, always a great experience, staff always willing to make your time there the best, fast service and great drinks n food
I've read a couple reviews and I'm so shocked!!!!! I absolutely love this place! Staff is so friendly! My friend and I went for drinks a few months ago and ever since then We go at least once every couple weeks! Sometimes twice a week!! Food is absolutely amazing!!!!!! Their daily specials are great!! Half priced bottles of wine on Thursday um yes please!! Every time we go for a meal(sometimes we go just for a few drinks) we always get greeted by the manager on duty and asked about the service food etc! My family went for Father's Day this year and they were all skeptical because of hearing negative reviews but I convinced them to go and no one was dissatisfied!! Please Don't listen to these awful reviews, form your own opinion and check it out yourself!!! Ps if your a Ceaser lover, go for brunch during the weekend and ask for "The Cure" your mind will be blown!!!!
We’ve been twice and both times not only has the service been excellent - so is the food! Very friendly staff! They don’t rush you like so many spots these days. We just had a party of 8 for a 50th Birthday Celebration and not only were they accommodating with our balloons and cake but were so attentive that everyone commented what a wonderful time they had and would highly recommend Baxter’s Landing to their friends as well! Thank you Baxter’s Landing!
We were seated immediately, greeted by our wait staff immediately, service was knowledgeable and prompt. The food was amazing. Would definitely return.
We celebrated my own and my sister’s birthdays at Baxter’s on Friday,our server Leslie was excellent, she was helpful, friendly and made our experience memorable, the food was delicious, we will definitely dine here again !
James was a delight. Recommended the best wine with the most impressive service. Thank you .
We hosted my kids Baptismal lunch at Baxters Landing on Sunday and I have been absolutely amazed by the courteous, helpful and always responsive staff at Baxters Landing! I had rentals and flowers delivered to the restaurant along with my personal decor items.. everything was handled with care and professionalism! Food was amazing, serving staff so friendly and prompt and management a breeze to work with!
I will be hosting more events at this location and would suggest everyone to do the same.

We went for a birthday dinner. The food was really good and the overall vibes of the restaurant. Our server was nice and accommodated to all our requests. I did find my salad side portion pretty small but overall the burger was very good (I got the bacon jam burger). Also do check their drink menu, they have a whole variety going on.
Wow! What at a great experience! First time going and I have to say the service from beginning to end was flawless. Zivian was our server - she went above and beyond to ensure our visit was nothing but perfect. The food was amazing, we started out with B52's, and then sampled a few dishes on the brunch menu - the stuffed cheesecake was Sooo good, I highly recommend it! The rice balls were nice too, although next time I would ask for extra tomato sauce on the side. Can't wait to go back to check out thier dinner menu!

I am going to share the story of Baxters Landing making me forget about a very difficult week on Friday evening.
Friday evening my parents, my hudsband and two little boys were waiting for me at the restaurant, as I was coming from a long drive back from Toronto. Everyone was ready to order. As soon as my hudsband mentioned where we where going are for dinner, I knew exactly what I wanted. It's the same dish I always order here. Their delicious seafood risotto. Unfortunately, they have changed their menu and their risotto was a vegetarian risotto.
Our lovely waitress (I wish I could remember her name), saw how bad I wanted this sea food risotto. Without me asking, she offered to ask the busy chef if they could make me the sea food risotto. She came back. I wasn't expecting, for a busy chef to change a whole dish just for me. But this amazing chef made it possible. I was the most happiest lady in that restaurant.
I couldn't extent my gratitude in person at the moment as I was with my busy 2 and 4 year old boys. We were celebrating my dad's birthday. The best way to let them know how happy they made me and how great they are, is to leave a great review for these amazing team. I know how busy they were, and again without me asking they went above a beyond their fabulous customer service.
I wish they could keep their risotto for life in their Menu, its my favorite dish, and the fact that they had seafood version it was beyond my dreams. Please consider having the option of adding sea food to it. I love how they are making it inclusive for vegetarian people though.

Always a great time, with great food and amazing service! The staff are all super friendly and accommodating! I highly recommend to friends and family, for a great dining experience to suit any occasion! My faves on the menu right now is the steak and the landing salad 🤌🏻 chefs kiss 🤌🏻 but you really can't go wrong with any menu item! They also make a mean espresso martini! Myself and my boss/coworker came in on Tuesday evening for a team dinner. I am visiting from Niagara Falls for work purposes. My team and I googled some different restaurants around Oshawa and decided upon Baxter's Landing. I have dietary restrictions and having a steak on the menu was all I was looking for... but we got way more than anticipated! All of our meals were extremely delicious! I had asked for a flavored vodka with water and the bartender made me a delicious drink that I am sure I will be on the hunt for at every place I go in the future! Dessert was nothing short of amazing and mouthwatering!
The most wonderful experience though was the service. Rob T was soft spoken, but a delight! He made all the recommendations and we graciously accepted and we were not disappointed! He also knew that we were a chatty bunch so he didn't over visit us. I am also a server part time and this really impressed me. He is an asset to your team and brings such a positive light to the atmosphere! We will definitely be returning :)
