I thought from the reviews that we would at least get decent food. Ordered food from this restaurant on Door Dash last night for the first time. Biggest mistake. The Chana masala had absolutely zero flavour, as if they put no spices in it. I actually had to add some spices to make it kind of edible.
This is a little gem of a place. We were passing through Whitby and felt like doing some Indian food and were surprised by the food this restaurant serves. We had the lunch buffet for $12 each without tax and it had few dishes but all of them were good and hit the spot. I personally loved the chana

Unbelievably horrible. Oil dripping from the paneer dish. Hyderabadi biryani is anything but hyderabadi. Garlic naan is size of tandoori roti. We deserve better. I will never recommend it to anyone.
I ordered Chana masala and asked which daal they have for a Pick up order. They said daal tadka and i confirmed i want that. After 15 minutes i got the call back that they don't have daal tadka. This place has the best butter chicken you can find in Durham region and trust me I've tried them all. The butter chicken sauce and curry sauces are the most flavourful and most authentic.
