Review Panera Bread - Oshawa

I had lunch with my daughters , they did not like the food as it was not good enough for them , the ambiance of restaurant is comfy , a bit pricy as well, I would not recommend.

Outstanding service. Picked up my takeout order a few minutes early. Brought it out to the van. Put my smoothie on the roof so I could unlock the van. Put my order in the van and got in. Before I closed the door I heard “Sir, sir.” I looked towards the store and an employee said, “Your drink is on the roof.” Love them all.

So I love the food here. Ive been a loyal customer. However today they forgot an entire meal in my order which was not discovered until getting home. I made the trek back brought my bag in showed the receipt and they went and got my missing meal. I’m a little upset that I had to return on todays gas prices. Because I ordered a bread bowl they gave me a small macaroni for it, I questioned how small the amount was and she said that was their way. If you order a bread bowl u get a small. I think it would have been nice for them to give the larger portion for my inconvenience but she did not seem interested in customer service. I’m a little put off of them now. It’s not about expecting something for free it’s about good customer service. I already wasted my time one going back and forth from Oshawa to Courtice.

I feel this is extremely overpriced for the portion sizes that we got. Also, I was very disappointed that the straws were made of plastic and the cutlery as well. To me I always thought healthy food went hand and hand with healthy environment but not in this case. The food was pretty good otherwise.

I have heard so many good things about this place but the experience and the food was not at all what we were expecting. The cashier stood there and was just on her register and we waited about 10 minutes for her to look up at us and say she was doing the mobile orders and couldnt help us. The options are very limited. We took the buzzer and sat down. We got up when the food was ready and it was not good at all. It did not taste right. Quite disappointment in this place.

This place is pretty good. I give three stars because sometimes it's good and sometimes it's not so great. Things I recommend: turkey bacon club, Napa chicken sandwich, tomato soup, chocolate chip cookies (warmed). Stay away from: the Bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. It's literally so salty it chaps your lips shortly after. If yah don't know, now yah know.

Been going to this location for 7+ years and I love it. EVERYTHING on the menu tastes amazing and the employees are super courteous and friendly.

Nice indoor seating area with a outdoor patio. I ordered the steak and cheddar cheese on panini bread, and it came in little slices of meat and packaged cheese. The taste was good but for $10 I think they should increase the amount of the meat and serve with real cheddar cheese. I don't think that I would go back.

First time trying this restaurant. Wonderful flavour food and great portions. Definitely will go back again and recommend to friends.

My husband and I used to go here on regular basis it was great in the beginning maybe it was last year. The last couple months it has steadily been going downhill. With Rude staff and horrible service being dismissive and unfriendly. The food quality this time when we went recently was so poor we left it unfinished.

Thank you to the wonderful person who found my purse and gave it to the staff for safe keeping until I realized I had left it there! Cheers!

I go to Panera Bread whenever I'm traveling in the states (and there's a location near me). Why aren't there more locations in Ontario???? Nothing near London.

Don't know that I will be back anytime soon. Just picked up a Fuji Apple chicken salad that had no blue cheese and more than usual iceberg lettuce. Not the lovely salad filled with a mixture of beautiful greens and a mix of flavours. For $11.30 (that is what it cost with tax included) it really isn't worth it. Looking for a new favourite place...

My order was wrong no avocado on the sandwich and no kale for my kale salad and got onion soup instead of sandwich was very dissatisfied

Took hubbie & my youngest there for dinner. He had the chicken flatbread with chips whilst I shared a full broccoli cheese soup & full Greek quinoa salad with my daughter and, I had the mango smoothie. The food was great & very filling & the service was also good. The only negative is that the prices are a little expensive. Will I be returning? Yes!

I ordered a salad with chicken. The chicken is frozen. I don't mean it was frozen and then thawed (I would have been fine with that). I mean it is actually frozen in my salad.

Finally a great place to meet, eat and relax. Food is great! Always fresh. The only criticism is the prices. Although you can get a better salad cheaper than McDonald's. Mcds salads are $6.99 and we had a salad for 5.89 for the same size. Better quality.

Service was terrible... Went in for my first time. The coffee you pay almost $4 for you have to serve yourself was over an hour old and barely enough left to fill mine and my significant others cups. Someone needs to be constantly checking the coffee levels, and freshness. It was barely warm, and tasted awful! Safe to say this was our first and last time at Panera. As far as your pastrys that are over priced, tasted like they were over a day old. For the time I came in, there's no way they should have been that stale.

Never heard of it in Alberta. Just gave it a try. Surprisingly awesome food. Staff is very polite, friendly and courteous. There menu looks delicious and full of surprises as well. I was also informed that at the end of the day they donate food to local food bank. Double thumbs up. Will try it again :)

Accuracy really does not matter despite the promise on the receipt... 7 visits 6 wrong orders including todays ... Wont be back ... Ever!!

I'm not sure how almost $11 for less than half of a bowl of soup is justified? I just popped in for my first time to try the Thai wonton soup and I guess made the mistake of getting it to go? Got it home to find that it barely filled half the container. If you are going to have such inflated prices, at least make the portions somewhat justify the price. Hugely disappointing.

Disappointed, when I arrived and went to the order counter, there wasn't anyone there and someone did eventually walk by and said "someone will be right with you". So when they arrived, ordered a sandwich and soup, they went back to check and then said, soup won't be ready till 10:15. So I asked for a coffee with my sandwich, when I went to get the coffee the dispenser was empty. An employee walked by and said she'd go get some more..... no problem right? Then I'm standing there beside the cashier for what seamed like 5mins and no coffee. Then seemingly the manager comes out with a till and sees me waiting and I state my case again. She goes in the back also and disappears, then comes out and says I can take your cup to the back and pour some in while it's brewing.... I know that you should never do that as I've worked for a huge coffee company before and I mention this to her. She says oh no it's fine. So at this point I just want to sit down so I accept the gesture and receive my coffee. When I left nobody said good bye or seamed to care about me being a customer.
