In a town of good restaurants this place stands out as the best.
Appetizers: Caesar salad, mushroom pate, and pork bombs were all delicious, all so so good!
Mains: Bone in Pork loin, wild mushroom gnocchi, pan seared cod. Holy hell, each of these dishes was amazing, so well prepared and so flavourful, really can't decide which I like best, cod or pork loin, and wow the potatoes with each dish were done to perfection.

I am celiac so sometimes restaurants cannot accommodate with anything other than a salad. BVR BLEW my mind tonight!!! I had muscles in a white wine sauce as an app that were fantastic, followed by a poutine!!! And the poutine was actually really really good!! When you can't eat gluten you never get to eat the french fries and certainly not gravy. Well BVR, kuddos to you I will absolutely be back and will be telling everyone I know that there is gluten free poutine here! Thank you for making me so ridiculously happy tonight �
Let me start this by saying...... I was laying on the couch watching "You Gotta Eat Here" on the food network, and up comes this amazing place. Now the menu has changed since the episode but still incredible.
My starter : chicken and waffles
Main: Pan seared cod (unreal and so were the brussel sprouts)
Dessert: mini brownie with caramel and vanilla bean ice cream

Thank you so much for making a special occasion even more memorable. We were celebrating a wedding at the town hall with a party of 11 persons on Wednesday evening. Everyone enjoyed their various entrees and sides of brussel sprouts and french fries done in duck fat. Delicious! Your manager was very generous with the Proseco and his best wishes for the young couple!
I met with a group of women who had never met before for a dinner at BVR, and I must say that it was a great experience.
The food was great. I enjoyed the bite sized desserts. Smart thinking.
The company was great. New people and never a dull moment in conversation.
One of the best parts about this evening that would make me go back to BVR was Jason. I have to say, Jason, our server for the evening did a fantastic job. His personality definitely kept mood of the table up.

Some of the best food ever, so worth the drive as we saw you on the food network. Awesome food and atmosphere. You need to expand to KW area. Lots of local food and craft beers near. Great menu Chef. Cheers!
Everything was amazing the appetizers (pork bombs and perogies) all four meals steak, Pembe pasta special, pork shank and burger. Home made ketchup is fabulous. The atmosphere and wait staff excellent. Will definitely return
We threw a suprise party for my Dad this past weekend in the downstairs room. The food was incredible the staff amazing and it was over all a great night. If you have a party to throw I would always recomend Megs, Ryan and the rest of the great people at the Barley Vine Rail Co.
We came here because of the show "ya gotta eat here!". We couldn't have the bacon wrapped meatloaf (featured on the show) because they stopped making it. I had the Mac and cheese...absolutely delish! My man had the beef short ribs...excellent! The waitress managed to get us a sample of the bacon wrapped meatloaf.....they serve it on sandwiches for lunch!!! We had a great time! We love that all of the menu items are locally sourced. We will definitely be back!
Fabulous place for a get-together! The Kin Club of Orangeville enjoyed our annual Christmas social at the BVR, and what a great place to do it at! They look after everything perfectly so planning a large group event is easy! We were treated to an awesome dinner by wonderful staff and would highly recommend this place to anyone!! Thanks BVR for a fantastic and fun night!! :)
Quaint atmosphere, excellent service, home made food right down to the ketchup, seasonal menu, not over priced,....will definitely go back!! We had mushroom risotto and short rib steak dishes.
Excellent food and service! I had the braised beef shortribs excellent very good and I recommend trying. Karen had the spaghetti bolognese (bison and beef in a tomato sauce) very good also. We will surely be back next time we're in the area. Reservations are recommended if you're gonna be later then 4pm on Friday Saturday and Sunday.
Had an amazing dinner last night! The smoked salmon plate for our appetizer was sooooo delicious, and the steak and duck fat fries was to die for :) Service was top notch too! I don't think I've ever had better service to be honest :)
Thank you for an excellent meal! It was soooo yummy!! Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf - delicious on its own but the gravy takes it to the next level. Hubby had the Mac and cheese - delicious as well! We both enjoyed a butter tart for dessert - perfect way to end our meal!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here. What a great evening for two (plus our baby :) ) Very friendly and attentive service staff. Food was delicious -- pork belly perogi shared to start, then sweet potato gnocchi for me, and grilled flatiron steak for him -- everything was fabulous. A selection of desserts to end the meal, and an amazing cup of tea. We will definitely be back!
