Lovely, festive, unique and cozy atmosphere -- even better food!! My partner and I came in last weekend and had a wonderful, comfortable, and delicious experience. Service was good for sure, but it's the kalamari, beef & chicken souvlaki, rice, potato, and salad dishes that will be bringing us back (can't wait to!). An absolute delight!! Cheers :D
TL;dr: ignore the dated and forgotten exterior and give this place a try!
Sooooo yummy! We came in without knowing what to expect and we were not let down! We ordered the Greek platter B for two (Greek salad, lamp chops, beef, chicken, rice pilaf, pita, tzatziki, humus, dolmades, spanikopita, tiropita, and roast potatoes) and not one item disappointed. That said, this can easily be shared among four. We arrived with a relatively healthy appetite and barely finished half.
There is some room for improvement (caveat: this is basically a "gun to your head, how would you make this better?" bit): the garlic buns would be better replaced with focaccia bread and the evoo and balsamic should be served in a flat dish, not a bowl; the tables and chairs lack uniformity and have a bit of a office kitchen vibe to them, table clothes could correct that easily (could be Covid cost saving measures though - maybe they generally do when cash flow is a bit more liquid); and they have fallen into the Greek restaurant trap of not really being incredibly dated in their decor which is ashame because in this respect they have soooo much potential to be one of the more hip locations in Oliver/Osoyoos. Right now they have this seaside/Greek and Italian knick-knack/mishmash/rustic chic thing going on right now and it's a bit much. If the exterior embraced a more Tuscan vibe that befits the winery region (without going all out) and the interior really leaned into the rustic chic with a few tasteful hints of Greek themed decor here and there (rather than all the things you currently are bombarded with), you could probably have a major contender on your hands.
The food is FANTASTIC, so I'm really just being nit picky at this point. I just worry that people see the exterior (which has seen better days and looks like it's been given up on) and the dated sign and drive right on past and miss out on an incredibly delicious meal.
Our server was the only one there and she was super prompt and friendly. I was well impressed by her skill at this.
Definitely come here!
Great Greek style food. Friendly staff and generous portions. Good prices .
Had a booking with 13 people, waitress was amazing at running the entire restaurant all on her own due to shortage with staff. She was prepping food, taking and serving meals and drinks and was washing dishes in between too! All the while with a huge smile and taking it all in stride! Thank for a delicious meal and amazing service!
We had a great evening for 14 to celebrate a 60th birthday. The service was excellent - the lamb shoulder and moussaka were phenomenal as were all the other meals. A great experience.
Tried the dinner platter combo, outstanding taste, big potions, we loved it!
Great menu and service. Thier lamb shank was excellent and the kids enjoyed their kids menu options. A ton of seating indoor and out with a charming old Greek decor. Dinner menu prices were a bit above average but this is the only greek place I would recommend in the area.
