If you would like a culinary experience like no other in the South Okanagan, Backyard Farm is the place to go. It is not a restaurant but a Chef's Table which puts on private culinary demonstrations for groups up to 20 people. Every meal is uniquely designed with the group in mind working with dietary restrictions and allergies and perfectly paired if you take his wine pairing suggestions. You must book early in the year if you want a dinner in the summer season as it is a extremely popular and exclusive. You won't be disappointed.

I had the pleasure of working with Chris Van Hooydonk, owner of Backyard Farm Chef's Table, to create a wonderful dining experience last week at Area 27 Race Track in Oliver, BC. As an event planner for General Motors, I worked with Chris to orchestrate lunch and dinners over three days, for our group of media driving the new Camaro ZL1 1LE at the track. In addition to excellent cuisine, Backyard Farm Chef's Table provided outstanding service and willingness to work with a very dynamic schedule for a group of 40 hungry people. Chris provided a wide of variety of foods, presented in a very, fresh, appealing buffet. Many of our guests commented on superb quality of these wonderful meals. Not only was Chris and his team a pleasure to work with, their creativity and ability to work in a challenging remote location, in a tent, at a race track, was very much appreciated! I would highly recommend Backyard Farm Chef's Table for your catering needs.
