On our first trip through Okanagan wine country last year (2016), we hit up 60 wineries over a week. Oddly, one winery we skipped was See Ya Later Ranch. I know there’s joke there somewhere, a bad pun I could be making…ummm…maybe if we drove by and waved without visiting? But the issue is that you cannot simply drive by. It’s remote, the only renowned location on the west side of Okanogan River between Skaha and Vaseux Lake and with no nearby bridges, one must commit to the diversion. On the previous trip, we drove north from Osoyoos, and with more wines on the east side and no direct route to the Ranch without driving further north, we would have to drive through Okanagan Falls three times. You must want to focus on See Ya Later Ranch, potentially eliminating the opportunity to visit amazing wineries on the opposite side of the river like Wild Goose, Stag’s Hollow, or Liquidity. And…we were totally wrong. You should obviously not miss this place. Drive through the Falls as many times as required. Or, if you are like us, take another wine trip nine months later and skip those other wineries. See Ya Later Ranch is a sprawling complex, one of the larger wineries in the area, more closely like those found South of Oliver. The views are amazing, the wines memorable, and it has probably one of the best picnic spots for miles. There are several spots to sit, and the hosts are very generous. Skipping this place the first time was a mistake. My recommendation is to get here early, pass through Okanagan Falls to the eastern wineries like the ones I just mentioned, then pass through again not to miss Kraze Legz and then…AGAIN…to travel north on the east side to hit up Blasted Church, Synchromesh and all those…ok, look, you’re going to have to be efficient here. Okanagan Falls wine country is shaped like an “H” with the town forming the bridge. There are destinations along every leg; you’re just going to have to figure out a way to fit them all in. But the point is See Ya Later Ranch is not one to be missed, not unless you want to make numerous trips here.

Quite a drive up to this wine tasting but it was well worth it. Colleen was our host and she was fabulous! She was up on the history of the vineyard and interested in us as visitors. The view from the tasting room was phenomenal and the 5 wines tasted were good. Not being a white wine person, I clicked in at the rose. We left with a bottle of Nelly (rose) and the Rover. Worth the drive. Love that the wines are lovingly named after the dogs of the Major!

Best wines, best service, best views, best deck in the while Okanagan. Even welcomed my two Jack Russells into the shop, gave them water and fussed them. Spent a whole load of money here and will be going back to do the same very soon.

We had a friends luncheon on Saturday for a Special Birthday! We arrived to a very warm welcome from all staff members. While waiting for all 7 of us to arrive we started a tasting with Joyce. She was perfect, very well versed in everything she poured for us. Extremely lovely lady. Then we were completely spoiled by Rowan our waitress, she was very polite and made us all feel special. Then we had the pleasure of experiencing the new Chef Ben's creations! He came out to our table to make sure all was well.....and it was! His dessert was above and beyond! Would I go back, you bet I would, would I take others, you bet I will. Thank you See Ya Later, yes I can't wait!

Our host Stephanie was fabulous! She was knowledgeable about the wines but also had an amazing story to tell about the history of the property and vineyard. We came away with a wonderful memory and would/will go back to See Ya Later Ranch when we're visiting the area. Well worth the visit.

Love the dog theme and the stories about the dogs who lived on the ranch. The wines were excellent and I love how they give donations to the SPCA. Can't wait to drink the "Jimmy my Pal" that I bought. Thanks!

This winery has a fantastic view of Skaha Lake and since it faces north, the grapes are unique as is their wine! A must see!

Every time I come, the experience is more wonderful than the time before! By far one of my favourite wineries to visit in the okanagan. The views are impeccable, the grounds romantic and welcoming, like a childhood home you don't want to leave. Staff are friendly and inviting and very informative. The wines are lovely to boot!
