Sunset grill!!. One of my colleagues got one vegetarian dish from here and I tried it. Damn!! It was amazing. So amazing that I would love to go here once in a week for a brunch. I took my girlfriend there and she also amazed with the service and food. I love to have unlimited coffee there when i go and veg. Hash is amazing. If you are vegan there are plenty of options here. Go buy grilled cheese where you will make it tummy full for sure. Pancakes are very much soft and we tried all of their flavours. Overall the staff is very friendly and nice. Definitely recommend place nearby. It closes at 3PM so good to go for brunch. Also one best thing to consider is, affordable. It’s not crazy expensive unlike other places. Go enjoy with your family. You will love it….

Outstanding service. Long time family-owned franchise. Staff and owner are always present and welcoming - they make an effort to know us by name. Beautiful patio outdoors now that the weather is good. We also do a lot of pick-up orders. You can call in your order as you pull out of your driveway and it will be ready by the time you get there.
Favourites are eggs Florentine, salmon platter, avocado toast. Kids favs are the traditional egg + sausage breakfast, pancakes and waffles. We will continue supporting this restaurant for years to come.

My #1 place to go for breakfast...it is like perfect recipe for all the menu items they serve....one can even compare it as a benchmark of breakfast. Had a lovely time with both kids and they loved it too. Staff are friendly and very attentive with coffee refills. Place is clean including the washroom. I am a tall guy, so would say needed little more room around my small table without bothering guests sitting around us. Overall 5 stars all the way. Keep it up!

Sunset Grill on Hays Blvd is one of the best diners for breakfast I've been to. The staff are all the same - since the day it opened - and everyone welcomes you with a great smile!! Awesome place, awesome staff!!

Went here on Valentine's Day and the wait was only about 10 minutes or so, very quick service considering how busy it was! Our waitress Poppy was an absolute delight, and all the food we ordered was delicious. Fantastic place!

The food was good but one older woman was serving far too many tables. When a group of six walked in they put tables against the half wall behind us so that it was hard to get past the table to the washroom. When my husband went to pay and I was in the washroom they cleared the table even though his jacket was still there. He had planned to finish his coffee. I won’t be returning.

So was finally lured here for breakfast by Dylan and was pleasantly surprised .. I come from SA and in some ways it reminded me of the Wimpy but super sized .. most of the egg portions come with 3 eggs which is apparently equivalent to 2 medium eggs .. I had mine with home fries which is cubed fried potato - quite yum ! It was also served with think sliced of toast and jam. My husband had blueberry pancakes and my friend had French toast .. these were both served with butter and syrup ! Although I thought I was full I managed to eat my toast with some of this fabulous whipped butter (NEVER seen this at home !!!) and syrup .. SERIOUSLY delicious!! Service was super friendly, Sue, our waitress was helpful and efficient - ensuring our coffee cups were topped up & that our peculiar questions were all answered. Thank you Sue ! If you looking for easy, cheapish, quick and BIG portion breakfast .. you're in the right place.

A great place!. I've been to a number of these restaurants, and this location is hands down the best. The Greek family that owns it is friendly, courteous and very efficient. We were there 5/24/2014 before 9AM and the service and food were amazing. Go early on the weekends to avoid waiting - it's a popular place!

Line-ups out the door. This diner is part of the Sunset Grill chain. WE've not eaten at any of their locations before and were at this location near Dundas and Trafalgar on Sunday to grab some lunch. It was busy, busy, busy with a line-up out the door. I took that as a good sign. We had to wait about 10 minutes before were were seated at a table.<br/><br/>Most of the other diners were having breakfasts which looked good, but we opted for a lunch of burgers. The burgers were big an juicy, and served with a side of home fries, and a veggie dip consisting of a few cucumber and carrot sticks. Service was quick, friendly, and efficient. An enjoyable lunch.<br/><br/>We plan a return to try breakfast.
