While we were hiking in Oakville we decided to give this place a try due to its high reviews. We went there for brunch. They had options but it was limited. No Latte or cappuccino which was a bummer for me.
The place was clean, AMAZING STAFF. The lady was super nice her name was Angela. Although the food quality was low. We both got steak and eggs for $22. I understand it’s for breakfast and the steak shouldn’t be top quality but for what we paid and comparing it to other places it wasn’t great. I asked for my eggs to be fully cooked on top and it wasn’t. The signature hash brown was DISGUSTING!! No taste!! Just mushy old weird style hash brown. I couldn’t eat it, really really bad. I can’t understand why this place has high reviews… maybe we picked the wrong food!?? The total came to $60 which was too much for this unpleasant experience!

Friendly staff, good service, excellent food and great value. Ordered the roasted red pepper burger which was fantastic. Portions are absolutely massive but there is no compromise on quality. Highly recommend and will definitely go back to try other items on the menu.

My favorite go to restaurant, I drive here with my friend every month from Mississauga to Scarborough to pick him up then to Oakville.
They have large portions for the price, the quality of the food is good and most things are made in house.

Had dinner with my brother at this restaurant, and my family has been coming here for years. The food portions are always big and services is decent. My brother enjoyed his wrap very much whereas I found my eggs were cooked in too much vinegar, souring the plate.

Good and tasty food. Portions are super generous!! We ordered the kids burger for our kids and it came out as a full size burger with a big portion of fries.

This is a family style restaurant with huge portions and a large menu offering.
The decor has not changed much over the years and the ambience is tired but welcoming.
Service is always fast here!
We frequently get ‘take out’ breakfast on weekends - eggs Benedict, homestyle potatoes, sausage, ham!

I went to this restaurant for the first time and the last time. Hollandaise sauce was tasteless the Mccormick in a package taste better. My eggs were over cooked and when I told the waitress she said they would cover my tea not even remake my eggs BAD SERVICE. I work in retail and word of mouth is huge. Also your menus need to be cleaned and when you bring tea the container should be clean. Just saying.

The owner Mo and his staff are great people and it’s a place that truly cares about their community and makes a point of giving back not just once a year either. I would highly recommend Mo’s try it just once and you will be hooked I promise.

Tonight we went as a large group . My family have been several times and come away impressed each time. The server was very polite and knowledgeable of the menu. Food portions were huge as always, all of the meals were served hot and for a large party all came at once. Tonight I had the Chicken Parmesan which was delicious. Sat on top of a serving of pasta which two people could have split. Only thing I found was that although the pasta tasted delicious it was kinda watery at the bottom of the plate. Would suggest draining the pasta for alittle longer. We drive all the way from Hamilton to come here . Should seriously think of opening a MO's into east Burlington or Hamilton area.

Finally after years of driving by - I stopped had a late lunch. It was well worth it, good service, food I ordered was so yummy - portion size was huge ended up taken the rest home. Can't wait to go back �

How have we not heard about this place before! 20 years in the area and no one thought to mention Mo's to us? Went for dinner Sunday night, got there at almost 7pm (they close at 8) and the place was packed! Our server was a young man with the professionalism of a European (they take serving to the next level). Food was fantastic, service was quick and super friendly, portion sizes even filled my hubby (who usually leaves still hungry). Even the bill was a nice surprise because everything is reasonably priced! Would (and will) HIGHLY recommend this place to everyone I know!

Lakeshore location: Good Friday, 2017. Usually love this place. The "manager" who was serving us tonight was an inattentive waitress. She went home halfway through our meal without telling us. Didn't ask the rest of the table if they wanted drinks when I ordered a beer. Worst experience we've had in our many visits to both locations of Mo's. Unfortunate since we brought another family there for their first visit... And they weren't impressed. Thankfully our regular waitress Lola turned around our evening with her usual friendly service and we left not feeling completely disenchanted. Lola is awesome

Service needs help. I asked a few questions and the waitress didnt know what was on the plate. All she could say was "what it says on the menu is how it comes."

Showed up at 5:50pm and it's now 7pm still haven't seen any food, terrible experience here, server was shit! Our little girl can't do f all while we wait for no reason! Food never came! Very disappointed!

Mo's is the perfect working man's diner. The staff is friendly and remembers my "usual". They are famous for their portion sizes and if you order coffee they bring you the whole pot. If you are going for weekend brunch - go early - it fills up fast.
