Excellent food and service with local seafood and craft brews. Loved my grilled vegetable salad and Cajun seafood pasta. A great spot in North Sydney.

Had the Cajun seafood pasta and the scallop carbonara and both were delicious! Cajun pasta had a good amount of seafood (scallops, mussels, lobster meat, and shrimp). Cajun flavour was very nice and strong! Scallop carbonara was rich and creamy. The bacon around the scallop made it a little saltier

Fantastic dinner, great service! Make a reservation. All 4 dinners were delicious. Artichoke dip was piping hot, bread was fresh. The drizzle on the toasted bread for the artichoke dip was so tasty. Will 100% go again.

Everything about Black Spoon Bistro was wonderful! Our server Tori was funny, attentive and warm and every single dish the 4 of us ordered was delicious. Wonderful sea food restaurant in north Nova Scotia. Good food and polite staff. Portions are just right in relation with the price. I would recommend Black Spoon.

Best fine dine so far I have been too in Cape Breton. Chocolate moose cake is the best i have ever had. The dip they have homemade is really good but kinda expensive haha anyways best place for dine in.
