The inside is dark with rich wood colours and multiple rooms. They offer fine dining, a weekend tapas menu and Chef's tables. I love the Tapas menu, even though it changes often. The Halibut Ceviche and the Calamare Frito with Serrano Ham are both delicious. I also love the Nashville hot Chicken. For many items on the menu, this is the only restaurant in town that serves this kind of food.
We enjoy the occasionally impromptu meal in Chumbolly's lounge. The bar menu has great burgers! The atmosphere is dark and cosy. We held our wedding reception in the Loft. They customized the menu for us. They made an amazing New Orleans style dinner with blackened catfish and shrimp! We've had so many special occasions there. They always make it special!
Wonderful meal and service. We were so happy to find such a nice restaurant coming off the highway. There were 6 of us and we each ordered something different(wasn't planned lol) and each of us walked away very happy. It's a little on the pricey side but worth every Pennie for the quality. The fresh pickerel and lamb were wonderful. And I want their Caesar salad recipe! We will be back next time were up north.
The aspargus gnocchi is "expletive" unreal! Best pasta dish I've ever had! My black angus sirloin was very good. Service was friendly and personal. The owner was waiting in the bar for people to come in the door so he can greet you and hang up your coat. No
Tried again.... ... and delightfully surprised. Excellent, attentive service and when the wine we ordered was sold out, the visiting wine sommelier came to recommend something near to what we were looking for (and loved his suggestion). The food was all fantastic, not a single complaint for our appetizers, mains or, the amazing coconut cream pie we shared for desert.
Yum, YUM, YUM!. Great restaurant! The servers are very professional, the food is lovely and the ambience is great too! I'll be back.
Springlicious was wonderful.
An excellent choice. Churchills is often thought of as the premier steak house in the city. It's richly panelled walls, cloistered booths, several small rooms, all speak of privilege and privacy. If you are looking to have a business meeting with excellent food and privacy then this is the place to go. it is a five minute walk from the Best Western were I was staying. I was greeted by a friendly and courteous staff. I started with an eclectic salad that was a combination of two different salads offered on e menu. There was no issue at my request and it seemed normal to them to creat emu own combinations of the menu. I had a bottle of an excellent wine, a TRIO, which was Merlot, Camert and Cab Sauv. I had the lamb shank with roasted vegetables and roasted potatoes. It was superb. The lamb was tender and the sauce perfectly complemented the lamb. I was able to share a glass or two of wine with the chef as I was the last to leave the restaurant. He could not have been prouder or more content and has been Chef there for several years. this restaurant boasts an extensive wine list that is equal to any of the fineest restaurants inToronto. He states that owner gives him free range to vary the menu. He mentioned the restaurant holds a wine tasting and dinner the last Friday of each month, an event worth planning for I am sure.
