Gilly's has great fish and chips (I'd recommend the perch or the pickerel)! I've been going with family for several years and we keep coming back for a reason. The place itself has a really nice atmosphere but prices have risen in recent years so keep that in mind when you go!

Absolutely love this restaurant! 2021 is the first year that they have been open into the thanksgiving Monday holiday and we were able to enjoy a wonderful dinner as we were not able to get out earlier. We went for the fish and even though they did not have any more Georgian Bay Whitefish, we still enjoyed the pickerel. Very tasty, very well prepared. Escargot was amazing as well as the drinks we enjoyed from the bar. We’ve been coming here for many years and we’ve never been disappointed - we always look forward to the the most excellent food and most excellent service. Thanks to Ryan our server tonight and Michel for getting us such a great table - our favourite corner booth to watch the boats and the sunset. Due to COVID last year, we still enjoyed the fish and chips and had take out, but, the best is to relax and spend time at the restaurant with friends and family. Thanks again Gilly’s — you made our anniversary and traditional ‘Killbear’ annual dinner very special. See you next year!

One of the best dining experiences I've had. They meet & greet you at the door with a a charm, warmth and smile that immediately makes you feel welcomed. They seat you quickly and once you're settled they bring the water and take your drink order and the menu's are already on the table so you don't have to wait for one. They give you ample time after you receive your drink to look over the menu which is easy to read with the prices beside the items on the menu to make your choice. The wait time for your meal is pretty much perfect. The portions are bountiful and by the taste and plating you can tell they care. I also enjoyed the fact that they didn't ask you how it was while you were eating like so many do and they didn't rush you through it they allowed you to enjoy it. Then they asked you about desert or a coffee which we had and again we had time to enjoy it without feeling rushed. When it was time to pay I was more than happy to pay the bill. All if it was done with a sense of pride and a smile on all the staff while we were there not just the people that served us. Nice to be in a place with a team atmosphere and staff that care about their customers. Thanks to everyone for an excellent dining experience and we will definitely be returning again to sample some other items on the menu and enjoy it all over again. A job well and I Highly Recommend if your near it check it out you won't be disappointed.

Waitress, was prompt, as was the food. Burger was thick. Fries were just the right amount of spicey. 3 friends had the Fish and chips. They cleaned off their plates... Offered, and re offered coffee fill ups! The best part was.... The Bill didn't come to me<<.
