Amazing food and huge portions that are reasonably priced for the area. We tried the black and gold onion rings, which are a meal unto themselves. In Addition, we had the Irish hot pot, which is a delicious sampler of steak pie and Irish stew. We also had the curry chicken, which was very flavorful. The ambience is that of a warm old Irish pub. The service was top notch and the Guinness was poured properly and even had a shamrock etched in the head. Highly recommended.
First off the atmosphere is a salty old Irish pub and it’s wonderful. I highly recommend starting out with the corn beef and cabbage egg rolls. The Sheppard’s pie and Irish stew are huge portions big enough for two. You won’t leave disappointed or hungry.

The Irish Harp Pub is comfy, cozy, has good food and service, and is slightly overpriced, which is not surprising, considering it is just off the main tourist shopping area in NOTL.
We started off lunch with a pint each. Her: Guinness. Him: Magners. Then it was on to the food. SWMBO chose the Black and Tan Burger, topped with beer-battered onion rings ($15). Pretty good burger.
I had the Irish Corned Beef Sandwich ($15), which is essentially a Reuben, minus the sauerkraut (which could be added for $1 to turn it into a Reuben). The corned beef was moist and tender, and had a nice salty, briny taste.
Our server was friendly and checked in on us a coupe of times.

The atmosphere is what you would expect for a pub style restaurant. They had a good selection of beers on tap. The prices were good for Niagara-on-the-Lake. I had the Veggie sandwich and my boyfriend had chicken fingers and fries. The food was okay but not spectacular. The location is excellent, the restaurant is located on cute side street just off the main street in NOTL.
Went to Harp Pub this weekend. Very nice and cozy place. Felt very Irish. We had lobster bisque which was delicious and sweet potato fries. The sauce for the fries was super! Would definitely come back!
One of my favourite spots in Niagara on the Lake. We came here with a group of about 20 of us the day after our wedding and the staff were more than accommodating. We never had empty glasses and food was served in a very timely manner. Everything was great and is a perfect spot if you'd like something more low key but still yummy. Potato farls on the menu is deep friend mashed potatoes! I bit doughy in texture but good with some ketchup.

Traditional pub fare where kids are welcomed even late at night. We swung by with two kids around 8 p.m. and was thrilled to see other kids there who were enjoying the FABULOUS live tunes. Having been to Ireland, I can tell you that here you'll find a piece of that Emerald Isle.!
This is one of the nicest pubs I have ever been to! The food is amazing, the decor is incredible, and the staff is great. I highly recommend the Fish & Chips, and Turtle Cheesecake!
Great fish and chips! Fish is dry not oily and the batter is crispy. Chips are crisp. With a Guiness it's a great lunch.

Garlic or parmesan fries?. We were on our way to the theater and went here instead of fast food on way into NOTL. It was a great decision. They not only got our food to the table in time. We had time to spare before the show to shop on the street. They waitress was friendly and suggested the chicken sandwich to my girls. They said they didn't want it hot and ordered mild. The report was that the sauce was definitely more along the line of medium which was too hot for a mild palate. I ordered the brie and grilled pear sandwich and it came on multicolored bread. It was lovely . The french fries we ordered were parmesan and garlic. Both were different and tasty. I would go back for sure. Other orders included the cesar salad and hamburger. The report on those items were favourable.
Decent selection on tap, good atmosphere, great food and excellent service. Framed football match stubs over the urinal was probably the best use of the space I've ever seen.
We wanted something different on our recent trip to NOTL. And boy did we find a Gem. Food was great and service was great as well. I'd give this pub a 5 out of 5

Always a favorite for us when visiting notl. the food is always good but we've had a few favorites, including a rare seasonal roasted red pepper and tomatoe soup.... every visit we read the soup of the day in hopes that it is available. The traditional irish pub food is good. Steak pies, fish and chips, and my latest satisfaction of a chicken curry dish. There are vegeatrian options as well and the presentation is nice. The multiple doors to enter can be confusing when you walk in if you didnt go to the door with the hostess stand. Service has always been good but not usually great. Its often busy when we go. We enjoy the live music and the fireplace and ofcourse the beers. I find the harp beer to be better here then in most other places i order it. They also offer a flight of 4 beers and an ok wine menu. Lunch was also a favorite for us because of the free crisps they would bring out while waiting for your food.... unfortunately its been a while since we've been offered those crisps. We will definately continue to frequent the harp.
It is definitely a pub! Nice small Irish spot with a nice beer taster option but all common beers. Read reviews that the fish & chips were good so I tried that but the Shepherd's pie looked awesome! Great atmosphere and good service. I thought quite busy for lunch on a Sat in mid Nov.
Good food but not exactly a lively atmosphere past 10 pm... Once the band finishes it clears out pretty quickly. Other than that if you are just looking for a decent meal in a pub it's good for that.
Best pub food around - always fresh. We had a group event there at the end of June. They were very helpful working with us in advance on menu and room set up. Service and food on the day was outstanding.
Loved it!. Great lunch. Welcoming staff. The Haddock fish and chips was first rate as was the Shepherd's pie. Excellent Irish and Canadian beers.
Decent food with a great atmosphere. The burgers are good, but the live music is what really makes this place a city favorite. Try the Irish Harp Ale or Irish Harp Lager - they're both quite tasty!

Gord and I had tickets to see a play tonight. We both found it really boring so left during intermission. We went to the Irish Harp Pub because there was a Celtic band playing. The band was Finnigan's Wake and they were really good. They played Irish, Celtic and East Coast tunes. I'm originally from the East Coast and it was just like being home! Hopefully they'll play in Toronto sometime! The servers were friendly and took good care of us.
