Review Ponte Vecchio - Niagara Falls

This place is another nice option when dining at the Fallsview Casino and Resort. It had a nice atmosphere and good service overall as well. The food was very good too but a bit on the pricier side for some items not all. We did enjoy ourselves and would most likely return again at some point down the road. Fan favourites were the Arancini and the Veal Chop Parmesan, Calamari was nice too.

Food was phenomenal! There was a slight hiccup with our food (we asked for medium rare steak but it ended up being a little well done), but the waitress went beyond our expectation and kindly took care of that. We ended up giving her great tip for her service! It was a lovely dining experience.

Yikes!  I expected more! At this price, it should be done close to perfect if not perfect. Went with a group of friends so I had the luxury of trying out a few main courses. Appetizers - $32 for jumbo shrimp cocktail.  You get 3 shrimps, but yes they are jumbo, and they are not bad, but the price was definitely steep.   Also tried the calamari,  which was ok Entrees - as I've mentioned I had tried a few.  If you must come to this restaurant, I would recommend the lamb, which was pretty good. Served with mint sauce which was not available everywhere.  The flavor was definitely there, I would add a bit more crust to make this dish a 5 star.  However the other dishes were a disaster.   The risotto was very salty, the pork loin was not seasoned, crust was there but not flavour at all.  Pasta fruitti mare was like something out of a can.  I try to keep my reviews positive but sorry, I cannot lie Decor was mediocre at best for its price.  They do have an extensive wine list but pricey. Service was pretty good though, friendly wait staff and attentive.  Location was also ok, out of the way of the casino so you don't hear all these slot machines and people screaming. At this special time, the local tourism industry was hit hard. But I am very happy that the waiters are polite and professional, and the dishes are worth 4 stars. But their service and optimism are definitely worth five stars. I will definitely be back next year when I pass by. I like the seafood risotto that day.

Oh my goodness. First time trying Italian food and we were not disappointed. The food and service without a doubt was top notch. We will be back for our anniversary next year. Fantastic authentic Italian restaurant. Thanks to everyone who catered to us and thanks to sticking to Covid rules.

Was there last Friday in September 2021 Was nice fast entrance. Server was nice. I got the capersa sorry can’t spell it salad was fresh and light then I got the chicken Parmesan no sauce on top and substitute with a rose sauce.The pasta was ok but not really creamy rose for my taste you really taste the tomatoes sounds weird but you have to try it to know what I mean….but the chicken was spectacular!! I get chicken alone next time. My partner got lamb and he loved it. They out of Tiramisu so can’t review and my partner got crème brûlée that was nice but a little too toasted lol like hard hard to chew too but bottom was nice it’s a long dish but I like more the deeper dish so you enjoy the flan part per say more. I would not get that again. It’s located inside the building of the casino so it’s convenient if raining from the parking lot.

What a fantastic and memorable evening at Ponte Vecchio restaurant. It was everything we hoped for and more. The attention to detail, the appropriate wine suggestions, and ready smiles from the staff, made the experience even better than we expected. The service was above all excellent!! The staff was extremely courteous and very discreet. The dishes were amazing, beautiful presentation and above all very delicious food. Our taste buds awaken every time we talk about our dining experience at Ponte Vecchio. Greatly appreciated, thank you !!!
