Review Jeffro's Bbq - Niagara Falls

We started off with an order of deep fried mac and cheese balls. They tasted like Kraft dinner and were alright. I ordered the full rack with fries gravy cornbread and baked beans. My girlfriend ordered the half rack with fries and salad. My full rack was split into halves and one was way more dry than the other. My girlfriends was also pretty dry. I assume they cook halves at a time before the rush and then serve. The best part was the fries and gravy. Hands down the best gravy I’ve had in Ontario. Baked beans were also very good and had a spicy kick to them which I enjoyed. I recommend getting the corn bread to dip in your beans. Coleslaw was really creamy and delicious. Server was great but said she would bring out a dessert pie for my girlfriends birthday and never did.

Nice place. And the food isn’t bad either. Came here on the recommendation of my friend. The place is located on Queen Street right downtown Niagara Falls. If you’re a guitar enthusiast, they have a few strange guitars on the wall; one is made from a hospital bedpan. The ambiance is nice. There’s a stage where they have karaoke night on Thursdays and a live band on Saturdays. Of course with our luck, we went on a Friday (facepalm). That was very disappointing for us. Ordered the pull pork and brisket plate and the bacon burger. The portions were disappointingly small. The taste was ok but a bit salty for my taste. Perhaps if I ordered a beer or something, the food might have tasted better. The staff is super friendly and accommodating; they make you feel welcome. The food is not the best value for the money. But if you come to listen to some music, it’s not a bad deal.

Jeffry’s is out GO TO PLACE for AWESOME BURGERS. We have been there twice now and just love the place. I am a self proclaimed Burger Meister and must say they Jeffry’s is for the Discerning burger eater with a mature taste. Service was good the cooks went right to work when our order went in and in a very reasonable time made out amazing burger creations! My wife loves malt vinegar on where fries and they did not have any. Not sure if they ran out or something else but they brought us some white vinegar which was better than nothing. So Jeffro’s a note for improvement. All in all we enjoyed this place and as I write this several days later I craving a Jeffro’s burger. They are located on a revitalized aria of Niagara Falls on a Historic street document with much of its interesting history. Keep up the Amazing burgers Jeffro’s. You were recommended to us by a friend in St Catheines and he was right on target. So check out this place and let Jeffro’s know you read my review and are expecting a tasting sensation.

Very Good Food and great portions. I love the staff who were courteous, kind and very informative. Also the wait time is very less. Recommend whoever is going to Niagara to stop by and grab a bite. Also, do have their onion rings - crispy, yummyness!

Delicious! I came in today with my daughter. We had the mac and cheese bites to start! Yummy and plentiful. I had the bacon swiss burger, great fresh patty, with a nice fresh bun. My daughter had the kids chicken fingers and fries.. great portion sizes for everything! The service was excellent! Great conversations great food and great prices! We will definitely be back! :)

Thank you first of all for being "NORMAL". What a great experience here! We had Swiss Brisket Sanwhich and 1/4 chicken dinner. Also had cheese balls...a new taste treat. Food was hot. Food was excellent. Will 100% come back. Thanks Kelsi for superb service! Thanks Jeff for "STANDING"! Everyone in the restaurant was genuinely happy, including the staff! Haven't seen this type of atmosphere since, hmmmm, oh I dunno, some time is 2020. Keep up the great work! To quote Dr. HOOK, "Walk right in! Sit right down! Baby, let your hair hang down!"

While the food was good. The staff were not. Our waitress was fine but the other waitress/bartender did not help her at all. Kitchen staff was off. My meals along with other patrons came out staggered instead of the entire table at once. My table 2 of my party came out 5 minutes before mine and my other guest. Read the reviews before deciding but maybe it was just an off day for the staff. Restaurant had 22 patrons including my table and not everyone came in at once.

A 5 start burger with a -3 star side of fries. This really takes away from the classic burger experience. If you don't have fries, just let your paying customers know. I would've happily chosen another side.

I hit this spot while on vacation on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls in late June 2017. Those who know me, know I know my bbq, and I'm sayin' these guys know.what they're doing. The atmosphere was great. Staff was friendly. A family friendly atmosphere. A musician was playing family appropriate pop / rock songs on his acoustic guitar. The decor was a combo of throwback southern advertising mixed with tie in sports memorabilia ( pictures if original six arenas, old baseball stadiums, etc). The side window rolls up (like a garage door), and we enjoyed the summer air while dining. My bro-in-law got a burger, which they tout also as a specialty, and it was great. I, of course, ordered a combo plate. The ribs were fall off the bone, not overly smoked, and served in dry rub fashion, as it should be; the bark of the ribs was perfect, another coveted mark of rib competence. The quarter chicken was juicy, not dry, and it too had a nice bark on the skin, which I ate, and usually do not. The key thing here to note, though, is that Jeffros states they are a northern spin on southern bbq, and that's exactly what we got. While the food was traditionally southern as described above, with that was the main bbq sauce that was more ketchup-y (not so much a fan of, but the spicy bbq sauce by itself or mixed with the main was on point), and that plus the creamy Cole slaw were definitely northern touches on bbq fare. Overall, you get what you were longing for in bbq, plus enjoy something different while traveling abroad. Lastly, you won't need to shell out money for parking, so spring for the full rack instead of the half! In summary, hitting this spot was worth the effort, the price comparable to chain bbqs, but the experience unique enough that we won't forget. Try it if you're out that way; you'll be coming back if you're out that way again.

What an amazing little place. We went a week ago and I had the brisket platter. I've never had brisket so tender, the knife was only required to cut thru the small amount of fat. As a matter of fact it was so good we made the trip from Hamilton today to have lunch. The Brisket and Swiss sandwich was fantastic! We will definitely be back!

Just AMAZING. I have cravings for real bbq all the time and had no idea this place even existed! Now i have a reason to drive all the way from Port Colborne to the Falls. My husband had tried their burger one day when I had a show at the Seneca Queen Theatre and had since raved about it. So we came by with some friends and I had the pulled pork, probably the best iv'e ever had, even the side dishes of baked beans and coleslaw blew my mind, they just had something different about them that made them taste better than anyone else. I also really liked the fact that the owners were on-site, Jeff was actually the chef, both were really welcoming nice people and our server Miranda was excellent. Don't expect super fancy decor or lavish bathrooms, but who cares because you are there for great food right? Home made, fresh, and the pricing is very fair. Highly recommend it and we will absolutely be back!

I have driven past this place several times over the past few years and keep meaning to go there. Finally tonight we went there for supper. We both love good southern style bbq and this place nails it! Wonderful supper. The food was excellent. We will definitely be going back again!

Went in for supper with my daughter. Whilst hot, our poutine and burgers were served in the same basket. Approximately 12 fries swimming in gravy, miniscule to non existant cheese; not to mention that the bottom of your burger is now soggy and wet. First time getting a crappy meal; have been in this place at least three times now. If this is the new standard, I'm not willing to shell out $48 for this ever again. On the plus side; the pepper sauce bottled by Jeffro's was top notch. Service was friendly. Very disappointed.

I can't say enough great things about Jeffro's! Every member of the family loved their meal, we even bought some of their house BBQ sauce to take home with us. Clean restaurant, lots of personality, great music, friendly prompt service, and of course the amazing food. One visit and Jeffro's is on top of our list of go-to great eateries.

Hands down best BBQ place around! Burgers are unreal , and daily specials are always worth coming in.

I've been here for over two years and have been searching high and low for a decent donair in the Niagara region.. the closest I found was in Stoney Creek- until last night!! This place has an AMAZING donair (especially the sauce �). And the fries were fresh, not frozen garbage. Absolutely loved the whole meal, and we can't wait to go back!

After being told they were out of bottled beer then several apps and then sides was served foul smelling meat. When complained to server she said both cook and owner said it must be my tastebuds. When we were leaving server yelled loudly several times in a mocking voice "have a nice night" . it's such a shame not only were we regular customers but brought several people in and made many recommendations. Sorry but we will never go back and made sure our friends all know about the server and the food. Shame on you!!

Great food and atmosphere, and well the staff and owners are just amazing! Overall great place with equally amazing food. Love it there! � will obviously continue to go back till yah get sick of me lol.

Only been once. Had the back bacon and bacon strip burger. It was to die for! Also, some of the best sweet potato fries I've ever had! Can't wait to go back.

Went to Jeffro's for dinner. Couldn't wait to try it. Walked in, went to sit down. No other customers in the place and every table was dirty. No dishes on them, just dirty and the staff all standing around with nothing to do. Sat down, asked what kind of beer they had. Only Draught and all American brands, no Canadian beer. We left, the waitress told us we would find what we wanted across the street at Grand Central. Lots of restaurants in Niagara Falls and if your's looks filthy when your customers walk in the door, you won't have many

We loved the food and had a great time! We had the Swiss Brisket sandwich and the quarter chicken dinner. Nothin like that smokey flavour! Great prices, amazing portion sizes and we can't wait to be back!
