Review Remingtons Of Niagara - Niagara Falls

This is an upscale restaurant in a very touristy Niagara Falls ON, and was a good break compared to other options on the close by Clifton Cliff. We were here on a slower night and it wasn’t so busy. Server was great, and there were couple of songs performed in the centre of the restaurant, not at our table. Food was good, especially cheesy warm bread, however I think that restaurant is overpriced. Please note that there are not so many vegetarian options.

My boyfriend and I visited tonight for dinner and used a groupon that offered a house wine, 3 apps, 1 entree each, and 1 dessert. We’ve dined here before and sadly miss the live singing/entertainment as it was a lively experience! I assume it’s due to Covid restrictions as to why they stopped doing it. The restaurant had some charm to it with the dim lighting and friendly and polite service, however in some ways could use modern renovations in the washrooms and taped up signs against the wall for hand hygiene. Overall the restaurant felt a little quiet without much music or customers. The food was a bit on the smaller side and could have been more generous however, was delicious and fair for the price of the groupon! Overall would recommend and return in the future!

The food was excellent! I went with my friend and we did the ultimate couple Offer that comes with 3 courses. It just kept getting better with each course. The crab cakes appetizers were delicious, the prime rib and seafood fettuccine was amazing and the pecan pie dessert was just out of this world! It was perfection! And there there was a waiter (Sam Hart) with the most buttery voice, that serenaded us at dinner. It was a wonderful evening!

Our experience was amazing! We saw the 4 course meal deal in Groupon. Gotta say it definitely worth it. For the appetizer I had shrimp cocktail. Which tasted excellent and it was perfectly plated. For second course I had the prime rib soup, it tasted okay but definitely needed to add generous amount of salt and peppers to enhance the flavour. For the main course I had prime rib. Which is this restaurant’s especially. Which was just perfect! For desert had the chocolate mousse with Gooseberry which was good too. All that for $45/person is a steal of the deal and I wouldn’t mind paying full price for that. Also service was excellent too.

We all had the prime rib dinner including my 5 year old and everyone thought it was very good. We had the calamari and crab cakes for apps and both were delicious. Service was quick and prompt and Krystin our server was very courteous and provided excellent service.

There was so much about this place that was great, but the best feature had to be the customer service. Our waitress was an absolute angel and made our visit perfect. Even the hostess was super friendly. The food was all cooked to perfection and the drinks were great as well. They have a great wine menu too. We opted for the couples menu and it honestly was a great value for the price. The crab cakes were delicious and both our steaks were perfect. The dessert was also super tasty and the whipped cream was super light. Absolutely no complaints and we hope to visit again!

This restaurant was fantastic. The decor and ambience was great. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer which was delicious. Filet mignon and the pepper fish was so flavourful. We also got to hear Sam our waitress sing, she has a great voice and is very nice.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff but the food was too salty for me. I ordered the seafood pasta and couldn't even finish half of it. Their fried brie was delicious though!

This was my first time at Remingtons and my wife and I came for my birthday. The food was absolutely was amazing. Got the bruschetta for a starter which was so yummy, the seafood pasta was to die for and my wife got the pork loin with veggies which I tried and it was delicious. This was probably the best food I’ve had at a restaurant hands down. Service was excellent and the waiters and waitresses also do solo singing which is nice entertainment while you enjoy your food and drinks. Thank you for making our first experience here a great one, we will definitely recommend this place to everyone and we will also return again. Cheers

Amazing food probably the best food I’ve ever had from a restaurant!! Ordered the bruschetta, highly recommend, and the pork loin. You must order this dish! So delicious 🤤

Had a groupon, well worth the groupon price! We had a four course meal with each a glass of house wine. The ambiance and decor of the restaurant was really nice, our server was super friendly and attentive, the singing waiters were a nice touch. A table of two men sat behind us and ruined our date night but I can’t blame that on the restaurant itself, the loud obnoxious talking, swearing and racial slurs were a bit of a turn off and my fiancé and I couldn’t hold a conversation,but again, the restaurant is not to blame for that. I would definitely go back

For all the times we came to Niagara Falls it wasn't until we moved here that we discovered Remingtons. Celebrated our anniversary and the steaks were good. Sandy orders blue, yes the cow is still mooing and I am a rare and voila blue and rare it was... I doubt you will be disappointed, good value and as for the singing staff, well, to each their own......

Went 1st time and had to go back . Amazing food and staff .little pricy but worth every penny singing waiter was icing on the cake

Food was terrific and staff was even better. Atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. Would definitely recommend stopping in when visiting the Falls.

Even with private room couldn't hear person beside me too loud. Only thing that stopped me from leaving was excellent waitress and nice looking place. Left with pounding headache $160 bill and hungry cause they don't even have a bread suppler at the moment so don't ask for a basket to go with your meal.

As far as Niagara Falls goes, I believe you will not find a nicer overall restaurant for the prices. My wife and I have eaten there countless times over the many years of Remington existence. The service is always excellent...the food is good with great value for your $$$. While many restaurants have come and gone over the years in Niagara, this one continues to do well with their overall products and service. Enjoy the singing servers too...some are great!

I had my anniversary dinner here, we had the date night package, I had the crab cake, (didnt care too much for the sauce)prime rib, (on point)and chef's special desert(the bomb)...it was good. The thing that reallg had me going was the amount of talent the waitresses had, it felt like my own serenade:)

Like everything else in Niagara Falls, it's a little overpriced. Had the prime rib dinner. It was quite good but not overly special by any means. Service was very good but the singing servers were a little hokey. In my opinion, it's a good restaurant but there's so many choices in Niagara Falls, that there's nothing really outstanding here that would encourage a return visit.

Used the Groupon for a second time and was just as impressed. Great portion size, great taste, great atmosphere, great service!!!!!

It was absolutely HORRIBLE! The steak is awful and has NO flavour or spices on it at all! I would highly recommend to not add the lobster tail mine was overcooked and like leather then they re made me one and it was just as bad...jot to mention they advertise Atlantic lobster in their pictures but your given disgusting rock lobster! ��� For the $150 meal I will NEVER go back!

I had taken my inlaws out for a nice vacation to Niagra Falls along with my wife and three kids. So I decided to take them out for a nice dinner. Went online and found Remington's of Niagra so we decided to go there. I asked what there special was for the day and sword fish was there speciality meal. My mother in law ordered the sword fish, I ordered the fillet steak, my wife ordered the New York steak, my father in law ordered the sea good pasta and two kids meals. Presentation wise everything looked good so we all started digging into our meals. I asked my wife how her meal was she said it was good. Father in law it's ok, mother in law ok, kids meals were simple, my fillet steak was not good I ordered my steak medium and got it at some points raw nothing worse than a steak not cooked to how you want it. I stayed quiet I said as long as everyone else was enjoying their food that she ok I don't want to make a big deal of anything at this point. Sorry for the long post but I have to get out how my experience was. Half way through the meals we all start tasting easy others meals normal in my family if it good I want you to enjoy it to. So New Yorksteak was good, sea food pasta was ok not my thing but it was ok, mother in law starts passing pieces of her fish around I take a bit to try this and man it was the worst thing I have ever put in my mouth. I tasted like it was rotten. I told my mother in law to stop eating her meal I went to the hostous and said to her that my mother in law had been eating this sword fish and didn't want to say anything bad but when I tried it it was the worst thing I had put in my mouth it tastes like it was rotten. Oh sir no problem let me fix this. She came to table with a menue and so we picked the New York steak because we New it was good. Waitress comes out and says well sir the steak is going to be 25 mins if you want it. I replied that's fine can we take it to go. Sure. Long store short I get the bill and everything we had ordered was on the bill including the rotten sword fish. I look at the waitress and say excuse me why is the fish on here she says well sir it was mostly eaten so I have to charge you for this. I respond where is your manager. He comes out and I ask him did you hostous tell you what happened. His response was well no you had eaten most of the plate. No nowing what you know from the above information, I was like you obivously did not talk to her. So I explained it all over to him and he was like I can't take it off most of the plate was eaten, went back and forth and he says well I can give you 50 % off the fish, I was like what am I going to do with the steak he says I can take it back I said ok take it back and take 50% off the fish and I am done. He goes to the back and than comes back and says well if you want I can take the fish off and just charge you for the New York steak. I was like it took you this long to figure this out I was going to pay for the New York steak I just didn't want to pay for the rotten fish, I was like did you try it he says no I said maybe you should and probably would never serve it again. Paid and left very disappointed.
