Started with raw oysters that I can not stop thinking about... so yummy! Then seafood chowder and pickled seafood appetizers. Finished it off with a phenomenal curry seafood stew... I’m of eastern Canadian roots with lobster as a weeknight staple. Not easily impressed, but I AM BLOWN AWAY! The food was beyond fresh and delicious...I can’t wait for next time. I’ve never had a favourite anything, but I’m so psyched to say that I actually have a fave restaurant! Start to finish, 11/10!
Omg. The best salmon ( catch of The day). Hubby had amazing charred lobster. Local sourced foods. Location is a bit lost in the strip mall and overshadowed by the DQ, but make the effort to find this place. A bit pricey, but great meals are worth the $$$. Julianna was funny and attentive.
Absolutely delicious! By far the best dinner we had in Niagara and the best oysters we've had anywhere! They were very accommodating to our daughter with a gluten allergy. The only downside was they didn't really have anything for young kids to eat except for a very delicious grilled cheese that unfortunately was too upscale (it had different cheeses on it) for our picky youngster. Maybe that's intentional to deter people from bringing young children? If not, a handful of kid friendly foods would be nice. I will highly recommend this restaurant to anyone dining in the Niagara area!
Absolutely amazing hidden gem just off the strip of niagara . Soooo happy we visited . Scallops were cooked absolutely PERFECT .. never have I experienced seafood in such a way . The oysters (and everything) were super fresh and tones of variety ! Our main was lobster again .. amazing !!.. I cannot say enough about this place ! The chill vibe and fine dining experience together is hard to come by . We will defiantly be coming back .
Best food joint in Niagara falls. They surprise you all the time by a new dish on the menu. Oysters are to die for and clam chowder is devine. The portions are generous as well. Highly recommended for food lovers.
On an anniversary trip to Niagara Falls last weekend, we happened into this place. It was very busy that night so was sat at the bar and were greeted quickly and warmly by the bartender.
The staff was helpful, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. The food abundant and beautiful. We had oysters that we had never heard of before and they were ice cold and delicious. Then a main course each and both were absolute perfection.
Being there for Canada Day we asked if there was a place nearby to see fireworks. We were directed to a vineyard down the road, fireworks were great!
Thank you so much, Tide and Vine, for making the end of our vacation perfect. We will return and will recommend.
Hands down one of top 3 meals I’ve had in the last decade. Background, visited 60+ countries, travel industry, and I love trying new places. I consider myself a foodie. This restaurant is off the beaten path but worth its weight in pirate’s treasure. Found it online, and wanted something different. Less than 10 minutes from the Falls. Small, located in a nondescript strip mall, yet excellent. Had a very unique dinner- pickerel (similar to Walleye) Which had paint code encrusted soft-boiled egg, roasted brussels sprouts and more. The menu is not very large but I don’t see how you could have anything wrong here. Simple but not pretentious and an incredible waitstaff. Chris was our server and knew absolutely everything down to all of their unique oysters. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that is in the region. Restaurant is small and simply decorated. Wine choices were nice. Has a full bar. Dinner was so incredible that we had to try dessert. We tried the creme brûlée and chocolate mousse. Do yourself a favor and playing your stay around this dining establishment.
Wonderful Anniversary Dinner with my Husband.
Oysters are always fabulous, seafood chowder is delish, always a regular when we go.
My husband and and I enjoy sitting at the bar for dinner, fun to watch the waiteress behind the bar preparing. Brought home a bowl of seafood chowder for my son, who loves seafood, has not been here, and is a bit of cook himself. He said it was the best soup he has ever had. It is wonderful to have a “Fresh Seafood” Restaurant. Love the passion that is shown here with the owners and the employees, always make us want to come back. Thank you!!!
Food and service were exceptionally good. I recommend Tide and Vine to anyone whether you are looking for great food, expertly mixed cocktails or perfectly paired wine and craft beer you won't be disappointed.
Had the Irish salmon, mashed potatoes and fennel with bacon hollandaise. Best meal of our trip, best salmon I've ever tasted. Started with delicious oysters. Ended with maple pudding and lager mousse. It was the perfect meal!
What a great find! If we lived closer Tide and Vine would be our regular restaurant. Fun staff and great food. We came for the oysters (that were fresh and fabulous) and also enjoyed the scallops and lobster. The also made a great Manhattan!

Another amazing evening. Thanks for making my Birthday extra special. Oysters, mussels, shrimp to die for. Love, love the raw oysters and tried the Dynamite Oysters tonight as well, amazing. I can't wait to go back. You guys know what you're doing. Fabulous food and service. Thanks again Melissa for taking such good care of us. Your recommendations are always spot on. Cheers !
Both raw and cooked oysters were among the best I've ever had. The chilled tidal plate was superb--I could eat that every day if I could!
Its a must go. Very knowledgable staff. Super nice and friendly place to go!! Love it. Going to drive from Sarnia again and again to get the freshest oysters around. Next visit already planned out. Cant wait. Rich is the man!!
We were on a two day trip to Niagara Falls and this place had great reviews on TripAdvisor. We made an early reservation and on arrival we were greeted warmly and taken to our table. Someone else came over and gave us water and told us about the specials. We had two items from the specials - the scallop appetizer and the rainbow trout entree. OMG! Delicious. We had three different varieties of oysters along with the seafood chowder. Simply marvelous!
Highly recommended for superb service and great food!
Best Cesar I have ever ordered and I am super picky about my Cesar's! Risotto is hard to get right... But they got the lobster risotto perfect! The cushie oysters were sweet and fresh. I was just amazed at how amazing this place was. Haven't had a meal like this in a long time. Bf hit a home run with the birthday dinner. I was happy as a clam! They suggested we check out ravine winery too. Best chardonnay I've ever had...baked pineapple and buttery thick and rich. The 2015 reserve. Mind blown. What a great time we had!
What a great find in Niagara Falls! Slightly out of the thick of it but well worth the drive! Fresh shucked oysters, Caesars, fresh fish and great dessert
Lobster risotto, oysters, crab, tuna salad are amazing!!!! Do not miss their unassuming yet spectacular bites!
