Our first visit for dinner at this restaurant and we were very impressed...the food is delicious. Don't let the humble exterior fool you, the quality is exceptional. I recommend making a reservation though, maximum capacity maybe 24 customers. Next we'll try breakfast or brunch.

Loved my pasta al pesto. Had it with the tomatoes which added a really nice acidity to the dish. Super fresh ingredients. Very pleasant atmosphere and extremely reasonable prices. Look forward to a return visit and perhaps trying the breakfast menu.

What a quaint little gem on our Main St. The service was great and friendly. Food was fabulous! My husband(Mike Pilote)and I went for dinner. We love the simplicity of the menu. They make it so easy for you... pasta noodles on one side and the sauces on the other~ both are colour coded so you can match to which they suggest are best paired. Great idea. They have also recently received their liquor license for those interested. We WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK

Excellent Pasta Dishes! Fresh pasta! About 15 different sauces. Very quaint. The salad and appetizers were amazing. The waitress was very pleasant and nicely dressed but could have worn something more appropriate for an Italian family restaurant. We are going there every time we want Pasta.

As an Italian I tend to stay away from Italian restaurants as they generally fall short of my expectation on what "good" Italian food really is. I decided one day to take a chance on The Italian Gourmet and boy am I glad I did! The homemade pasta and bruschetta are by far my favourite; it takes me back to my many summers spend abroad in Italy. This hidden gem is one even Nonna would approve of! Ps. their brunch is also phenomenal and a must try!

Saw the sign and wanted to see what an Italian breakfast was (I think, weekends only for breakfast) So glad I went. Look at this platter! So good, not your typical breakfast. The vodka bacon sauce was delicious, was the rest of our breakfast. Cozy place, perfectly crafted latte (beautiful micro foam, smooth espresso) They were very nice and treated my 2 year old with respect. Highly recommend

Small and intimate. Stopped by for breakfast today. Had a veggie omlette and it was yummy and filling. I try not to eat pork so my choice was perfect. Of course I am not perfect so on my next visit I got the everything omlette with every kind of pork and veg. Super yummy. Only recommendation I wish they have goat cheese.

An absolute treasure, very authentic and the price for value is amazing. I had the Breakfast Feast and it was wonderfully fresh. These are the types of restaurants our subburbs need to cherish. Would reccomend to anyone!

I have been to many breakfast/Italian restaurants before, my wife and I eat out all the time and love to try new places. I would have to say that the Italian Gourmet by far, surprisingly, has the best breakfast we have tried in a while and there pasta as well is phenomenal, very flavourful and fresh ! My only suggestion is to open earlier for breakfast for the early birds out there like us, other than that this place will not disappoint. Superb service, quality, food and freshness award goes to.... Italian Gourmet.
